In related news, guitarist Luca Gargano has decided to depart from the Ari Koivunen band. He has posted the following statements to his myspace blog (in English) and in the forum of arikoivunen.fi (in Finnish). Here is the English version:
"I'm sad to announce that I no longer play with Ari Koivunen. This was entirely my own decision, and I just wanted to go on with my own career. So there was no fight, no argue, no musical differences and no one fired anyone. I just wanted to quit now when the new album was ready and released and the band had a short break to settle things for the future.
"We're still best friends with Ari, Erkka, Erkki, Mauro and Vili, but now it's time for me to go on and put together the band I've always dreamed of. What it's going to be... You'll find out in the near future, I promise."

If you think you have what it takes, then go ahead and download the track and lay down some vocals. When you have completed the track, you can send the finals version of the song to firstname.lastname@example.org. We are excited to hear what you all have to offer. Billboard.com reports: An ambitious lineup helped the seventh Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival overcome inflated gas prices and a more crowded North American festival scene to post attendance of more than 70,000. The festival ran June 12-15 on a 750-acre rural site about 60 miles south of Nashville.
That's shy of a Bonnaroo sellout of 80,000, but enough to please festival producers A.C. Entertainment and Superfly Presents. "Our sales are a little bit off, but not really what a lot of other people seem to be experiencing," says Ashley Capps, president of Knoxville, Tenn.-based A.C. Entertainment. "We feel very, very lucky."
Logistically, Bonnaroo ran smoothly, with intense heat countered by sporadic rain. Local law authorities reported fewer arrests and there were no deaths this year.
"It's becoming almost a cliche, but every year surpasses the last in some really tangible way," says Capps. "I don't want it to sound in any way like we're resting our laurels, but it really had all the characteristics of a finely tuned machine and it was thrilling to see that in action."

Cradle Of Filth frontman Dni Filth has posted the following studio report:
"Dear unrepentant children of the night,
Greeting once again from the verdant bowers of Ambergate, Derbyshire and the recording studio we call home sweet home and Sneapy Hollow.
Dani here once again to fill you in on everything filthy from the production of our new album, which, as it stands, still remains untitled! There are obviously a huge amount of possible candidates floating about, from the mildly ridiculous to the obviously mediocre, our favourites being The Lesser Known Adventures Of Gilles De Rais And The Squid People, Go-Go Gothic Binoculars, and Finger Tits amongst others, not one fully encapsulating the brutal musical scale of this record quite yet. Still, there a couple of weeks left to go, so who knows what will befall our ever-tentacular creation? More...
