We are like tied to the ground, forced in chains that can't be broken, so the man in the cover is representing all humanity and its eternal agony, knowing that it's almost impossible to liberate ourselves from the obscurity of our nature. Unless we decide to admit to ourselves who we are and face our doom, that would be the only way to free our kind and rise to an higher conscience, someday.”

"Epysode is a very special project to me. It can be described as a supernatural thriller concept album, which was composed & written by me. It's something very deep, a strong story with characters, clues & secrets behind, to involve the listeners into the adventure. With an amazing team of 5 musicians & 5 singers from the Progressive & Metal scene who were all involved in the creation of the album, the music of Epysode is intense and melodic, with lots of small nuances, emotional as well as high-energetic! Prepare to get lost in your 'Obsessions'…”

Norway's To Cast A Shadow has issued the following announcement about parting ways with vocalist Gunnhild:

"There is no grudge between Gunnhild and the band, we have simply decided to set a new course. We wish all the best for Gunnhild and her music-projects, and we thank her for all the good times we shared in To Cast a Shadow.
"The 'new' To Cast a Shadow will appear at the Rocktober festival in Hamar, Norway on the 8th of October, with London Prog/Death metal band Talanas. More live shows are being planned this autumn in Italy and England and will be confirmed soon.
"We have received a lot of wonderful reviews so far, and it is an unfortunate time to announce Gunnhild's farewell. We are however confident in this decision and the future is looking bright and very exciting for To Cast a Shadow."

A massive welcome back brother! Now, let's together set the world ablaze and conquer the universe once and for all!"
