"Thank you to Mark Howitt, Nick Taillefer, Frank Chartrand, Rob Clendenning (sorry if the spelling's off), and all the bands we've played with, local or big time.
"These past 4 years, from TPH -> Elicist -> Life After have been a blast. Unfortunately for some, this is where we pack it in. Keep supporting your scene.

"Hopefully this is the key to finding the rest of the guitars! Something still may pop up online so please keep your eyes open. Thanks for all of the support. We love you all."

"With influences and roots that harkens the listener back to metal's glory days, and songs and arrangements that echo the voice of the oppressed and broken, the end result is a release that brings hope and far surpasses its predecessors, and in all aspects possesses the capabilities of cementing Thy Will Be Done's position in the metal world. Single Bullet Theory has made the recently recorded track "Edge of Broken" available for streaming/download via its Bandcamp page, or below in the player. The song is a reworked piece of older material that will appear as a bonus track on the band's forthcoming self-titled album, which is set to be recorded this fall. Guitarist/vocalist Matt DiFabio had the following to say about "Edge of Broken:"
"This is the song that got the band moving again after an almost three year hiatus. Written about the rise and fall of Single Bullet Theory and the "Never Say Die" approach that I (Matt DiFabio) have toward this band or my musical vision. I personally feel that this is one of the best SBT tracks ever recorded as it exemplifies exactly what this band is made of musically. This track really came to life with the help of Mr. John Ruszin III. Everyone reaches the 'Edge of Broken' at one point in their life... Its all about what you do once you get there!"
Single Bullet Theory is currently gearing up for the North American Devastation Tour with Into Eternity and Rikisha. The tour will kick off on August 9th in Cudahy, WI. Single Bullet Theory will stay out on the road until August 21st and then hit the studio to record its fifth full-length album.

Jamie Teissere, guitarist of defunct metal band Droid, has announced the launch of his new project, Sunflower Dead. After multiple U.S. tours with bands such as Korn, Evanescence, Five Finger Death Punch, and Hell Yeah supporting Droid's debut on Munky from Korn's Emotional Syphon Recordings, the guitarist was by no means ready to quit the music game after Droid's sudden demise.
Wasting no time, he assembled a new outfit consisting of Michael (vocals, piano, accordion), Jaboo (guitar) formerly of Two Hit Creeper, Luis Gascon (bass) touring member of Buckethead, and Jimmy Schultz (drums) touring drummer of In This Moment, with a goal of creating an undeniable unit that would not just move but more importantly, entertain people.
The group dubbed itself Sunflower Dead and went into Temple Studios (owned by Raymond Herrera of Fear Factory and B Real of Cyrpress Hill) with Christian Olde Wolbers (Fear Factory) to produce an 11-track self-titled debut record, set for release on August 21st, 2012 with Bloody Bat Records LLC. The album was co-produced and mixed by Jeremy Blair (Guns N’ Roses, DevilDriver) at Temple and House of Blues Studios and mastered by Robert Hadley (Korn) at The Mastering Lab.
“Sunflower Dead is a refreshing sound with a great vocal range, not like your average current metal/rock band,” commented producer Christian Olde Wolbers. “This is just the debut, but Sunflower Dead has tremendous potential to break in a bigger market and they have proved it with this strong debut.” More...
Cleveland's rising stars Affiance dropped their new single "You Will Be Replaced" today, and coinciding with the release is a worldwide premiere of the song at Alternative Press. Check out the song at this location. The new song was produced by Carson Slovak at Atrium Audio who has recently finished records for August Burns Red, Texas In July, and more.
Singer Dennis Tvrdik commented on the song: "To be honest, we are pissed off. This song is a message to everyone who has slammed doors in our faces or tried to hold us back. Your taunts have only increased our pace. It's the beginning of the end. We feel this is the best song we have written and we're excited to finally share it with our fans, and hope it will cure any confusion about what type of band we are or what genre we belong in. It's far more metal and a more fine-tuned version of our best stuff from our first album, No Secret Revealed."
Affiance recently wrapped up U.S. tours with Memphis May Fire, Close Your Eyes, Serianna, The Color Morale, Stray From The Path, Vanna, This Or The Apocalypse and Deception Of A Ghost. The band's debut album "No Secret Revealed" is out now on Bullet Tooth.
Canada's Kataklysm has teamed up with Noisecreep.com to premiere a live video of the track, “At the Edge of the World,” taken from the band’s upcoming 2CD + 2DVD, "The Iron Will: 20 Years Determined."

Spawned from Central Virginia, hardcore/metal act Saint Diablo is set to release a new album, entitled "Saint Diablo," on July 10th, 2012. The new record is the third full-length from the band and is being released through Eclipse Records (Mushroomhead, Scum of the Earth).
“This new CD, Saint Diablo, is a combined effort of so many wonderful people. We have such an awesome group of investors, supporters, handlers, and producers behind the curtain that I see this CD as just the BEGINING of the future,” states vocalist Tito Quinones. “For example, we have always done bilingual music and blended multi-cultural aspects of rock, metal, and groove; but this time we are also doing entirely Spanish versions of some if our most favorite tunes. We did this to expand our musical horizons, make new fans in countries and cultures that would otherwise have language barriers, and to have fun.”
The band is set to head out on a tour of several U.S. states with Slaves of Dope, running from July 24th in Rochester, NY to August 14th in Poughkeepsie, NY. Before and after the tour, the band has booked several additional east coast tour dates, including stops in Baltimore, MD, Raleigh, NC, Richmond, VA and more. See below for all current tour dates.
“Tour, I love being on tour! That's our life blood,” adds guitarist Justin Adams. “Being on stage and performing for our fans is the grass roots of what we do. The energy, the smell, the taste of being in a packed room with a bunch of metal crazed fans, who wouldn't want to be a part of that?! The interaction of the fans and meeting new people and hearing their stories all over the country… that's what I look forward to on tour. It's about the brotherhood of living in a van with your band mates and the experiences, things you have to overcome.” More...

Chicago heavy metal quintet Dirge Within will film a music video for “Memories,” the first single off the band's sophomore release, "There Will Be Blood," today with local director Peeler.
Commented guitarist Shaun Glass, “The video has a very cool storyline as well as some exciting new elements; we think it will blow people’s minds. We couldn’t be more pumped to be filming in our hometown with such a cool, talented director.”
“Memories,” as vocalist Jeremy “Jerms” Genske explains, is one of the more emotional tracks on "There Will Be Blood," as it addresses the sensitive subject of losing someone close to you.
“For me the song is about the loss of one of my old friends to suicide - the fact that it came out of nowhere when it happened, and how it still lives with me,” said Genske. “But the beautiful part about it is that it’s open to individual interpretation. Anyone can take their own feeling from it.”
Stay tuned for the “Memories” music video in the coming weeks. While Dirge Within gears up to launch its first music video from "There Will Be Blood," the band has also revealed that it has been forced to drop off the run on Shockwave Festival 2012.
“We would like let all know that due to reasons beyond our control we will not be at Shockwave 2012 tour,” said Glass. “We will have updates on new dates soon. And to all the hometown fans, don’t forget about next Monday’s [June 25th] show with Hellyeah at the House of Blues in Chicago!”
Relapse Records has issued the following announcement about Devourment recording a new full-length album:

The album promises to be the band's heaviest, most crushing release to date and will see an early 2013 release. Tentative song titles include 'Fucked With Rats' and 'Fifty Ton War Machine.'"
Devourment frontman Mike Majewski commented on the upcoming record, “This will be the deepest album we have done for sure. Definitely expect the intensity, but also more thought out song structures. I would say a bit of a throwback to old school brutal bands, but with the signature Devourment elements.”
Further album details will be announced as they are made available. You can also stay up to date on Devourment over at the band's Facebook profile.

The band's debut "On Crom's Mountain," was released last August through Barbarian Wrath Records.
Arkham Witch features Emily Ningauble (Drums) and Simon Iff? (Vocals) from the doom metal band The Lamp Of Thoth.
Metal on Metal had the following comments on the signing: "We met and saw Arkham Witch live when we went to the Doomsday festival in Wakefield, UK in February 2011. They instantly captured us with their incredibly catchy songs and the show that was pure mighty fun! We got their 2009 demo and later on their first album, which was a stellar piece of doomy heavy metal, so when they contacted us after their previous label closed, we eagerly offered them a deal."
