"From the barbaric metal hotbed of Chile comes two of its most fiery cults, Unaussprechlichen Kulten and Godless, united in demonancy on a split 7". Courtesy of Iron Bonehead Productions, both bands offer here an exclusive trademark cut of the flesh: Unaussprechlichen Kulten hammering away with haunting filth and dissonant despair, Godless world-eating with an ominous cyclone of disgust and depravity. Ancient and unbowed, drink deep the black blood shed by these blades!"

"This is your opportunity to get all the early recordings properly released. This LP will contain the 2 demos + four other songs that were never released to the public. The record will come with a full color cover, hand numbered.
"No one is charged a dime until the $2500 is raised. Also, anyone who contributes will get to download all the recordings (unmastered) even if we do not reach the $2500 goal. Please spread the word to all your friends. BTW, if you get enough friends to go in with you, you could get the record cheaper by pooling the money and doing a higher contribution.
"This record will NOT be available for distribution OR in record stores! Unless they contribute to the campaign prior to August 6th." More...
The Ancient Crypts demo "Devoured by Serpents" has just seen international release via Iron Bonehead Productions, and you can stream two tracks from the demo below. The following press release was also issued about the band:
"Ancient Crypts may be a new name, but this Chilean cult includes scene veterans from such revered bands as Unaussprechlichen Kulten and Invincible Force. Unmistakably South American in its humid, hellish intensity, Ancient Crypt's Devoured by Serpents demo ravages and conquers, defiles and reviles, reverent of the ancient Metal of Death whilst often dragging the decibels down into doom-entrenched muck. Pressed on a pro-printed cassette by Iron Bonehead Productions, Devoured by Serpents is but the opening chapter to a horrible story..."
The track listing is:
1. Deep Into The Ancient Crypts
2. Between The Mortuary Remains
3. Devoured By Serpents
4. Procession To Nyarlathotep More...

Manilla Road has roots as old as most of the NWOBHM bands that helped define heavy metal as we know it. Somewhat under the radar, the group didn’t popularize metal to the extent of Mercyful Fate, Venom, Iron Maiden and Manowar. However, as noted by the die-hard fans, knowledge fans who attended the group’ rare performance on the last night of Chaos in Tejas 2013, Manilla Road surely put its stamp on heavy metal. One fan pointed out how the group influenced Candlemass and even held the door open for Candlemass to enter this world.
Manilla Road’s reluctance to tour surely kept them out of the above bands’ spotlight. They are a cult act. It was for this very reason many showed up for tonight’s show. Red 7’s dual stages offered a tremendous package with Texas’ own USBM instigators Absu playing on the indoor stage. The night was spent walking back and forth between the two stages. The indoor stage’s overcrowding mixed with humid temperatures resulted in, what felt like, a twenty-degree temperature difference. More...
Earache Records is without a doubt one of the biggest record labels in metal music. They made their name by signing some of the best extreme bands around, but also branched out into more experiemental areas at times, including with today's featured band, Fudge Tunnel. Fudge Tunnel were formed in 1988 in the English city of Nottingham, where the original lineup of singing guitarist, Alex Newport, drummer Adrian Parkin and a bassist known only as, Mark, would rehearse above a working men’s club. After Mark decided he’d be more comfortable playing guitar, the group recruited a new bass player named, David Ryley, before Mark left altogether. The trio’s first release was a self-titled EP, which hit the shelves via Pigboy Records in 1990 and was very well received by the music press. They built on their attention by joining up and coming industrial metal outfit, Godflesh on a tour and releasing a second EP named, "The Sweet Sound of Excess," both of which helped them to gain a record deal with Earache, who were based in Nottingham and had made a name for themselves by signing such popular acts as Napalm Death, Carcass and American death metal group, Morbid Angel.
Their debut album, "Hate Songs in E Minor" drew controversy before it was even released. Just three weeks prior to the record’s release, the Earache Records office was raided by the Nottingham Vice Squad, who confiscated any "offensive material" which included the original artwork for the album (as well as, according to Carcass frontman, Jeff Walker, an Alice Cooper poster.) The setback forced Fudge Tunnel to using live images for the cover art instead (charges were eventually dropped and the original artwork appeared on t-shirts.) The album itself met a very strong reception from metal fans and featured a unique sound which remains very difficult to pinpoint, as well as some unique song titles and two covers, both classic rock staples, namely, "Sunshine of Your Love" by Cream and "Cat Scratch Fever" by Ted Nugent, who the album was also dedicated to. Among the album’s admirers was Sepultura frontman, Max Cavalera, who was so impressed with the record that he invited the band out on tour with Sepultura, though Newport would later express his distaste that the tour seemed to have lumped Fudge Tunnel into the metal category.
