Diamondhead will NOT be appearing at the Wacken Festival this summer. Discussions were made with the band, but nothing was confirmed. Unfortunately, the Wacken website chose to advertise the bands appearance in advance of any confirmation. This has not changed and their website continues to be misleading.
Although it has taken slightly longer than anticipated, the brand new album has now been fully recorded, mixed, and is ready to go. The album features 12 new Harris/Tatler compositions. We are now looking to secure the right deal to ensure that the album is given the best marketing, promotion and distribution possible.
Mexico's up and coming progressive metal band CRUZ DE HIERRO,will be playing a headlining concert at the world famous HARD ROCK CAFE in their hometown of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
The all-ages concert will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2003 and will start at 830PM. The entrance cost is free for members and 60 Pesos for all other persons purchasing a ticket.
With the purchase of every ticket, all attendees will receive a free compilation cd from TOKIN RECORDS which will feature 21 songs from 12 bands such as: INNOVA; INADAPTA2; ZONA 13; PSYCHO; BAJOTRES; DJ ADRIAN SANCHEZ; MALA LECHE; CRUZ DE HIERRO; CELESTINA; ZANATE y ASOCIA2; PROJECTOR and LA TIRLANGA.
Local support will come from the bands: IN NOVA; ZONA 13 and BAJOTRES who will be playing prior to CRUZ DE HIERRO taking the stage.
CRUZ DE HIERRO will be previewing the songs: THE HUNT, HEADING TO THE STORM, NOW and for the very 1st time WITH YOU and LAND OF THE FREE during this performance.
Defyance, the Iowa based progressive-power metal band whose last CD, Transitional Forms, featured world class metal vocalist Lance King, has been approached to contribute the song Connection to the Germany based Heavy Oder Was magazine's Metal Crusade compilation CD.
The Metal Crusade compilation CD is released 2 times per year and is included as an added bonus with the Heavy Oder Was magazine.
A total of 30,000 copies are printed and distribuited all over Europe to metal fans, metal music press and record labels.
