Slovak grinders OBLITERATE have returned to the scene after some time, when there was nothing new to be heard of. They recently had their latest album, "Something Wrong," releaseed on Austrian label Noisehead Records on May 6, 2009.
This third album marked the band's return after various line-up changes and death of the guitarist Boris in 2006. The band now has stable line-up, which finished the recording of their actual material. The works on "Something Wrong" took from May to September 2008 in Morpheus multimedia and Fork In The Eye studios, under the production of guitarist Ivin. Shortly after completing the recording, Obliterate was signed to Noisehead Records in early 2009.
The band themselves characterize their music as "alternative grind core." The new album contains 13 songs in grinding, but not orthodox style, which will please mainly the fans of extreme styles as well as those who like hardcore insanity and more progressive riffs.

3. Economic Megamessiah
4. Know and Suspicious
5. What it Leads Us To

Swedish black metal band Vandöd will enter the studios in June to begin recording the follow up to their 2007 album “As." Expected to be ready for release in the autumn, the album, to be called “DÖ”, will be the second full-length from the band. “Our last album was a very raw and unpolished effort, and almost all of it was recorded in one takes, since we all set off with the idea that a debut album should be very 'true' and necro," commented drummer Daniel Wikforss. “But we’ve got that stage out of the way now, and 'DÖ,' is going to surprise quite a few people. We’re not prepared to go into too much detail yet, but let me reassure fans that we have no intention of becoming a technical band, that’s just not what Vandöd aspires to, but there will definitely be some changes to the production values."
