Dwellers Streaming "Spirit Of The Staircase"

With the release of "Pagan Fruit" now less than a week away, the Salt Lake City psychedelic riff-wranglers in Dwellers present "Spirit Of The Staircase." Check it out below, thanks to Metal Insider.

Featuring former members of Iota and SubRosa, the self-proclaimed "gut rock" trio will release "Pagan Fruit" next Tuesday via Small Stone.

The album was recorded and engineered by Andy Patterson (SubRosa, Catholic Girls) at The Boars Nest in Salt Lake City, Utah, mixed by Eric Hoegemeyer (Luder) at Tree Laboratory in Brooklyn, New York and mastered by Chris Goosman (Sasquatch, Five Horse Johnson, Lo-Pan) at Baseline Audio Labs in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The track listing is:

Devin Townsend Recording New "Ziltoid" Album

You've been waiting for a seeming eternity, and now it's finally happening: Devin Townsend is recording the follow-up to "Ziltoid the Omniscient!" Townsend also recently launched a crowd funding campaign for both Ziltoid part 2 and a new project titled "Casualties of Cool." He comments:

"Recording for Z2 has begun! Remember, the Casualties of Cool pledge is also funding the massive Z2 project! Yeeesssssss!!!

"The pledge is currently at 488% with 11 days left. Hitting 500% would be an amazing achievement! Mother's Day is coming up in many parts of the world. Momma needs her Casualties!"

Day In Day Out Calls It Quits

Day In Day Out has issued the following announcement about calling it quits and lining up final shows:

"Over the past couple of weeks, we've reached the decision to end Day In Day Out and embark on other musical projects.

"We've grown up a lot since the band started, and it overshadows a lot of what we do. Day In Day Out is done, but we won't stop making music as we mature and all. Come out to some of our last shows. We'll be releasing info on the last one soon.
