A truly exciting prospect for the future of heavy music, Uneven Structure disassemble and reconstruct the Metal genre we all know and love, by creating contemporary atmospheric movements that are all at once dripping with seductive cinematic ambience and groove-laden riffs."
Basick label boss, Barley comments on the signing: "I'd been following this band's movements with interest for quite some time before I finally got to see them play live in Germany at last year's Euroblast Festival. Within 30 seconds of them taking to the stage and diving into their set, my jaw was on the floor. Meshuggah-like precision combined with a TesseracT-like ethereal atmosphere made for a completely spine-tingling experience. I knew there and then that we had to sign them. I can’t wait for you all to hear this album!"
Igor Omodei, guitarist and producer with the band comments: "We are so glad to be working with Basick, a label that completely understands and allows us the creative freedom we are looking for. It makes sense and we’re all down to do it. I know Noah announced the band's demise a couple weeks ago, so it will be like seeing a ghost, then going to see Ghost ha!"
"You can expect to see the sickest Skinless show ever," he promises. "Last year's reunion show was killer. It was everything a Skinless show should be about the finality of the MDF performance will definitely make it.......final! The final nail! Everyone in the band are still great friends. I live in Denver and we all have a lot going on in our lives now. We did way more than I ever expected. It was a lot of drive that made it happen; hard fucking work! Nuclear Blast Records has issued the following announcement about Accept guitarist Herman Frank injuring himself at a live show:
"Accept was forced to play as a four-piece during their concert in Houston, Texas this past Saturday, May 7 after the band’s guitarist, Herman Frank, suffered broken ribs and a punctured lung in a stage fall the previous night in San Antonio. Herman fell backwards during the song 'Bulletproof' and will miss the remaining dates of Accept’s 'Blood of the Nations' Tour 2011.
"Of course, the band has done this before. Accept performed and toured as a four-piece during the 1990s as well, and the Houston show was a perfect example that the four of them (Wolf, Peter, Mark and Stefan Schwarzmann) can still blow the roof off and concert hall! The band is now on their way to South America for the final leg of the tour. The Accept website will keep you updated on Herman’s condition. We all wish him all the best and a quick recovery!"
Peter Baltes also explains: “Unfortunately, Herman had an accident during last night’s show in San Antonio. He tripped and landed hard on his back. Even though he managed to finish the show, his pain became unbearable as we arrived in Houston. He was taken to the emergency room, where the doctors discovered four broken ribs and a punctured lung. He will remain at the hospital for now. Considering his condition, his spirit is great, and we all need to give our support to him as he recovers from his injuries. In the meantime, the band will continue the tour, and Herman will rejoin us as soon as he is all healed up and good to go.”

“Carnival: war, rape, lies, pathology, evil displayed through certain events and situations of the latest years in the world. Is Forever - I guess it doesn't need explaining. Both the text and the title are bitterly ironic. The art is very intriguing and quite strange for a metal album but surely staying in memory. A vital thing is that it's a photo. We did not want any computer graphics this time or anything artificial or plastic. The same regards the production of the album. We had actually been thinking about getting a painting for the cover but unfortunately we couldn't do it. Maybe next time."

One of the pioneering hard rock and metal festivals, started in 1997 by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, will once again miss out on another summer touring cycle - for the second time in three years. The festival has gone through a number of changes over the past few years as a result of economic woes and more competition from events like the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem and Uproar festivals.
Ozzy Osbourne offered a short statement in regards to the cancellation by saying;
"No, [there will be no Ozzfest] this year. I just finished a lengthy arena tour of the U.S., so I've decided to tour Europe this summer instead."
