German black metallers DARK FORTRESS have issued the following update:
"We are sorry to announce that Azathoth (vocals - pictured) will no longer be a part of Dark Fortress. Therefore we are currently looking for a new frontman/singer. Serious applications, including audio AND visual (live-videos, pics,…) material, may be sent either to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. We will keep you updated about any news concerning a new singer. All future live gigs (Summer Breeze Open Air, Kaltenbach Open Air) are probably going to be canceled, however we will play the gig in Alte Kaserne in Landshut, Germany (on May 19th) as a farewell gig for Azathoth. This will be your last chance to see us in this line-up, so make sure you don’t miss it. Furthermore, the work on our new album and it’s release date will be postponed. Michael Crafter sacrificed a lot to come to the U.S. and help out on this tour, but unfortunately for him he had to go home with short notice. This does not stop or slow us down in any way. We are completing this tour with the vocal contribution of Myke Terry, formerly of the band CASSIUS. We have not, and will not, cancel any shows on the remainder of this tour. These are trying times for BURY YOUR DEAD but we make these changes to further improve the quality and longevity of this band. Thank you everybody for your support. We will see you shortly."
BURY YOUR DEAD is in the middle of the "Don't Call It A Comeback" headlining tour with SUICIDE SILENCE, STICK TO YOUR GUNS and SINCE THE FLOOD.
