Kamelot has posted the following message on the band's official web site:
"We are back from the amazing European Tour and what great times it has been. Starting with the amazing Tilburg show, sold out many weeks in advance and now nearing another sold status for 2010. The fans were amazing and we cant wait to return with an even bigger show for you. Cologne was also nearly sold out and the crowd was so loud at the Essigfabrik. The afterparty at Cologne's Hard Rock Cafe was a lot of fun and we got to meet so many great people from Germany and surrounding countries. Our first UK tour was a big success, SOLD OUT shows in Glasgow and London was a great bonus.
"Thanks to all the fans in UK for your support!! Following the UK we went to one of Europe's best concert venues, Z7 in Pratteln Switzerland. The place was packed and it was a Tuesday and in my opinion the best Z7 show the band has done. Then we made it to our first appearance in Toulouse, thanks to all the fans that came out. We had a blast! Next up SPAIN!! What can I say? All the shows in Spain were amazing for us, Barcelona was soooo loud. At the SOLD OUT Madrid show the soundman couldn't hear the PA over the crowd singing. Alicante was a perfect final night with a big stage and new fans to see us. All in all the tour was another step for Kamelot and the Kamelot Nation!!
"I want to say many thanks to the Kamelot Crew: Jeroen, Raymond, Rich, Ingo, Holger, Roger and Linda. Thanks as well to the driver on this tour Bjorn (Il Divo), Anne-Catrin, Pako, Rocky, Thomas at ICS, Rudolph and Gabriel at Gold and Bold, Red Car Coaches all local promoters, Sarah at Artworx, the bands DELAIN, SERENITY, AMBERIAN DAWN, DREAM EVIL and local bands that played on this tour. And MEGA Thanks to all the fans that came out!!!
"See you all this Summer!!"

"After touring the world for pretty much two years straight, the stars aligned and have us finishing up in Southern California and Las Vegas. If I could offer one piece of inside info it would be that these shows are the ones to see. We will be celebrating a very successful run and 10 years of madness that all started in the great state of California (though our friends in Las Vegas know how to throw a party so we can’t leave them out either). We are f*cking excited to be home and leave everything we have on the table before we get to work on a new kick-ass album. So I am personally inviting you to come out alongside our closest friends and family and leave the ear plugs at home as we throw down for these end-of-tour shows. Don’t be the one left out."

Mutiny Within have announced that they will enter the Bieler studios in Florida on Monday to finish the production on their upcoming release through Roadrunner Records. Producer Jason Bieler issued the following statement about the album:
"I haven't really been inspired to produce many bands recently. After working with bands like SikTh and Skindred with Matt LaPlant ( our main producer/engineer @ BBR ) you get spoiled. I also get bored really easily, especially with faceless instrument owners with record deals and no talent. Quite frankly I would rather be playing hockey and have my head driven through the boards than sit through a session like that! Long story short, I have turned down project after project, fortunately Bieler Bros. success allows me to pick and choose what I work on. My friends at Roadrunner called me and sent me some demos and low and behold I was blown away! Mutiny Within shred from top to bottom and have a vast, expansive sense of melody. They also have a unyielding work ethic...an unbeatable combination in my opinion.
"It is going to be great to work on a record that our friend Suecoff worked on, there are few more metallic dudes on the planet! This is going to be an epic record and it all starts on Monday...more news soon!"

“The Heart Is A Drum Machine”, the eagerly awaited documentary film that explores the complex and critical relationship between humanity and music, will premiere in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 25th at Nike’s Ricardo Montalbán Theater in the heart of Hollywood. Sponsored by L.A. Weekly and Nike, proceeds will benefit the Charles Mingus Youth Arts Center in Watts, a facility of the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.
Directed by Christopher Pomerenke and produced by Ryan Page, Joe Mundo, and Hans Fjellestad, The Heart Is A Drum Machine explores music’s role in shaping human history, the profound connection people have had to music throughout human history, and how it has shaped our experiences and its involvement in our daily lives. Tackling the topic is a who’s who of musicians including George Clinton, Tool’s Maynard James Keenan, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ John Frusciante, and Jimmy Eat Worlds’s Jim Adkins. Music historians and writers such as MTV’s Kurt Loder and KCRW’s Nic Harcourt were also interviewed, in addition to Carl Sagan’s widow and collaborator Ann Druyan, who discusses the Voyager Golden Record. The Flaming Lips’ Steven Drozd created an original score for the film and covered Elton John’s “Rocket Man” with vocals by Maynard James Keenan.
