A Pale Horse Named Death is the brainchild of Brooklyn, NY native Sal Abruscato. Sal's partner in crime on "And Hell Will Follow Me" is Matt Brown, sound engineer extraordinaire and guitarist of fellow NY band Seventh Void. "The chemistry between me and Matt is unique and flawless very rare in today's music. We are the murdering evil version of Lennon and McCartney." says Abruscato.
Brown adds, "Sal asked me if I would help to take these songs to the next level. I took on this project for my friend, to find some closure in rough times. The music is just an extension of our friendship and our passion for creativity."
The album artwork was done by Sam Shearon aka Mr. Sam, who has previously done work for Rob Zombie, Fear Factory and Cradle of Filth to name a few, and features a 20 page booklet with artwork for each individual song. Additionally, the Double LP version will feature a never before heard bonus track called "Pick Up Truck."
Vampires Everywhere! is scheduled to release the new album "Kiss the Sun Goodbye" on May 17th, and a teaser for the album can be viewed here. The band has been touring alongside crunkcore act Brokencyde on "The Death Race Tour," but Vampires Everywhere! was forced to sit out some recent performance dates due to unspecified reasons. Michael Vampire has now issued the statement regarding the band's return to the tour:
"Hello Evil Ones, I am writing to update all of you on my current situation regarding tour & my health. I have been in the hospital for over a week. During the Death Race Tour, I noticed my arm was swollen which progressed throughout the tour. The day of our Atlanta show, I was feeling horrible and asked the band to drive me to the hospital, which I thought was going to be an in and out experience. It turns out my arm was infected badly & needed immediate surgery. Thus VE! had no choice but to cancel tour dates until I was fully recovered. I am being released from the hospital this week and I am feeling much better! We will catch up with the Death Race Tour in Denver at the Marquee Theatre, which I am very excited for! I appreciate all your support during this horrible experience. I will never forget your evil love! See you all on the last leg of The Death Race Tour and our upcoming 'Horror Nights 2011' tour with Aiden, Eyes Set To Kill, Dr. Acula and Get Scared!"

Pulverised Records has issued the following announcement about signing a deal with Skineater:
"Pulverised Records is proud to welcome Swedish death metal fiends Skineater to their ever-expanding roster of brutality.
"Formed in late 2008, Skineater features scene veterans Håkan Stuvemark (ex-Wombbath, ex-In Thy Dreams), Stefan Westerberg (ex-Carnal Forge, ex-In Thy Dreams etc.), Thomas Ohlsson (Apostasy, ex-The Project Hate MCMXCIX) and Jörgen Ström (The Mary Major)."
Commented Stuvemark of the signing: "All we've heard about [Pulverised] -- and through our own experience during negotiating with the label -- has been good! Now we can aim to record the debut album. The recording will take place this summer and with this excellent lineup, we are ready to cause some damage, so keep yer eyes and ears open!"
Added Pulverised Records A&R manager Calvin Chiang: "After we heard about Skineater, it was obviously a no-brainer that their brand of crushing death metal fitted the Pulverised roster perfectly. With their downright devastating and ruthless vibe combined with a slight tinge of melodic elements;,we knew there was something remarkable about Skineater! The band is all set to record their debut album in the summer, so be prepared for some skin-crawling death metal this year!"
Before the Dawn will be releasing the new album "Deathstar Rising" in the U.S. on May 3rd, 2011. The band has now posted a new teaser for the album online, which can be viewed below.

Aggressive Disorder has issued the following announcement about delaying the band's upcoming album due to the recent disasters in Japan:
"We regret to inform our fans in Japan that our forthcoming album has been delayed there for a while. Due to the tragic events that have taken place there. As the town of Minamisanriku was devastated by the recent earthquake and tsunami. This town housed the offices of our label there, Speedworks Records.
"Days after the events unfolded, we learned that the staff was among the missing. Fearing the worst, we did not want to make a public statement, until all the details were in. We were being kept updated by label boss Sakura Oto's sister of the events unfolding.
"We are now at the point that we can make a official announcement, that our worst fears have not come true. Many of the staff that were injured are being treated in Osaka and Tokyo. We have been in contact with Mr. Oto via email. He vows to regroup and open new offices in Osaka by the summer.
"The delay in release also gives us a chance to work in returning Bassist Dan Quinn. So to put it simply, we have pushed back our recording of the next album to the early Fall. The band has been hard at work on the album, Dan has been the extra push we needed. Just him being back here has got both of us more into what we are doing as far as the creative process, and the chance to get some shows in is a good possibility. We have a little more time to write the album, with the album release being delayed. When Dan came back in, he threw some old material at us, and we had a blast playing it. Stuff we haven't done in a long time…..THANKS ALOT DAN!!! LOL."

Montreal tech death shredders Derelict have just put their self-titled 2011 promo EP up for sale on their Bandcamp page for $1.99, which includes the opening track, "Perpetuation," as a free download. The songs are also available for streaming through the same location.
"We originally intended this EP to simply be a promotional lead-up to the next album, but our fans have been asking us to make the tracks available," comments vocalist Eric Burnet. "They were produced at full album quality, so we figured, why not! In this day and age bands can't afford to hold music back for no reason, and if people want to have it, we're more than happy to deliver it."
The EP features three songs that will be on the band's next full-length, due out in late 2011. Similarly to the band's 2009 release "Unspoken Words," tracking duties were shared by Burnet and Montreal engineer Kevin Frenette, with mixing and mastering completed by Chris Donaldson (Beneath The Massacre, The Agonist, etc).
