Nanowar Of Steel Posts New Animated Video Online

Today Italian happy metal five-piece Nanowar Of Steel unleashes their new animated video for "Vegan Velociraptor." The song is taken from the latest band’s effort "Stairway to Valhalla," released on November 30th 2018. You can check it out below.

The animated video has been created by Christian Ice, a well-known producer based in Rome. He worked on several drawings made by Nanowar Of Steel’s frontman Potowotominimak.

The band comments: "On ‘Vegan Velociraptor’ we talk about a current topic. We tell the incredible story of Piergiangiorgio, the Vegan Velociraptor, who fights for a better world made from tofu. He duels against his bitter enemy, MariaDaniela, a carnivore cow who illegally sells doped meat to groundhogs in San Lorenzo markets. This is based on true stories. Will our hero be able to make the streets more cruelty free? Just watch the video." More...

Memoriam Reveals New Album Title

Memoriam have been busy working on the follow up to their highly acclaimed 2018 album The Silent Vigil. The band recently ensconced themselves at Parlour Studios in Kettering (UK) to kick off the recordings with renowned producer, Russ Russell (Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir, At The Gates, Amorphis etc).

The new album "Requiem For Mankind" is due to be released in summer 2019. Stay tuned for more info soon...

Memoriam released their second studio album The Silent Vigil in early 2018 via Nuclear Blast - coming just one year after the release of their debut album "For The Fallen." The band returned with an authentic, raw offering of old school death metal destruction. In comparison to its predecessor, The Silent Vigil focused more on the aggressive side of the band’s music. Having put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into developing their sound, the band skillfully crafted a monstrous tone that further enhanced their imposing warfare.

Sabaton Reveals New Album Details

Today, Swedish heavy metal heroes Sabaton reveal the title and artwork of their new studio album that will be released in summer 2019. This ninth full length record, that will see the light of day right in time for the band's 20th anniversary, will be a concept album named "The Great War" covering stories from the First World War.

"The Great War" will be available worldwide through Nuclear Blast Records on July 19th and pre-orders start on April 19th, so watch out for limited and exclusive editions at www.nuclearblast.de.

The band has started the recordings exactly 100 years after the end of the First World War (11/11/1918) and took 3 months of intensive work to complete the album together with their long term producer and partner Jonas Kjellgren at Black Lounge studios. Furthermore, the album has been mastered by Maor Appelbaum and the artwork was once again created by Peter Sallaí.

"This is not the first time we sing about stories from this period in time, but now we felt the timing was right to make a full concept album about this war", the band comments. More...
