Paul Di'anno has set the release date for his new album "The Living Dead" for May 16, 2006 via Magick Records. On The Living Dead, Dianno delivers a powerful vocal performance over classic metal bombast, a long-overdue comeback that will surely please old school metal fans as well as show the current generation exactly why they're wearing vintage Maiden jerseys.
The tracklisting is as follows:
The Living Dead
Mad Man In The Attic
Brothers of The Tomb
Do Or Die
Symphony of Destruction
Phantom of the Opera
The bonus DVD contains the music video of The Living Dead and an exclusive in-depth, tell all interview of Paul discussing his storied days with Iron Maiden.
After putting Iron Maiden on the map as the vocalist on the band's first two releases, (Iron Maiden and Killers) front man Paul Dianno went on to front several bands including Gogmagog, Battlezone and Killers. Overall, the vocalist has been featured on over 60 albums released world-wide.
Dianno is constantly touring throughout all of Europe, Canada, South America and just recently in India where he landed his first film role in a Bollywood movie. Dianno has even found time to pen his first full sized book, an autobiography entitled The Beast which is a no holds barred journey through his turbulent and often disturbing lifestyle throughout the last two decades, including his incarceration in the Los Angeles Prison System and being barred from the U.S.A.

Since I'm planning to redesign metalunderground.com (for May 1 CSS Reboot), I wanted to get our readers' opinions on some things that have been commented on in the past. Primarily, I'd like to know:
- Do you like the overall site layout?
- Do you start on the home page or the news page?
- Do you find the text difficult to read because it's too dark or too small?
- Do you read metalunderground.com on a mobile/small screen device, and if so what is your experience like?
- Do you experience any web browser-related problems. If so, what web browser are you using?
The plan with the redesign is to keep the current design mostly the same, but change what goes on behind the scenes so that multiple site themes or designs can be made, which our readers can choose. However, I am open to improving the current design as the "default" option.
Please hold off on suggestions for new site features, as that is beyond the scope of this discussion. Thanks in advance for your input and for visiting.

Dissolution post update on their myspace site:
It's been a while since we've really done anything with this page, and for that I apologize. We've all been through a whole bunch of things recently and to be quite honest, updating myspace has not been high on the list of things to do. At the moment we are finishing up recordings on the full length to be released sometime in the near future (I believe summer wouldn't be completely out of the question). The equipment problems have been minor, but we're still carrying on making do with what we can until we can repair. (Mostly my stuff. I blew up my bass amp and fucked up my bass too.) We will be playing again soon, so we're not giving up yet. We'll be playing the 2006 boozefest this year, which is going to be absolutely incredible due to the fact that cover is FREE. There's no excuse not to get your ass down there. The lineup will be amazing as always, and there's more money for booze.
Thank yous go out to all of you that have stuck with us through these past trying times, and I can promise that things will only get better from here on out. Your letters have meant a lot to us, and in return I hope to give you back one hell of a show, and an album that's actually worth it. (I guess the main reason that it hasn't come out yet is that we're perfectionists and we definately want it to be the best we can before we give it to you. Anything less would be an insult to you.)
Nuclear Powered Satan, a black metal influenced grindcore band featuring members of Foetopsy (Barbarian Records), Brodequin (Unmatched Brutality Records), and Die Alone (Corrosive Recordings) are finishing up their first full-length record and will be debuting the new material at Robot Mosh Fest 4 in Milwaukee.
Nuclear Powered Satan released a handful of cassette demos in the late 90's but disbanded before playing a show. The members regrouped and started writing new material late last year while on break from their other bands and two of the songs from the record are available on their Myspace page.
Winds Of Plague drummer, Jeff, is leaving the band for "personal reasons." According to the band, "we totally understand, shit comes up and you have to handle it, he has left us on good terms and we wish him the best of luck." The California band is now in search of a replacement. Interested candidates should request more information here.
