Bay Area thrashers Dekapitator will see the official re-issue of their 1999 full-length album "We Will Destroy…You Will Obey" this summer via Relapse. The long out-of-print album has been repackaged, remastered, and includes four new bonus tracks. "We Will Destroy…You Will Obey" will see its CD and digital re-issue on June 21st. The cover artwork can be viewed below.
Zombi has premiered another new track, titled “Slow Oscillations,” off the band's forthcoming album "Escape Velocity" online now via PopMatters.com. Head over to this location to hear the song. "Escape Velocity" is set for a May 10th North American release date.
The band has previously posted another "Escape Velocity" track online titled “Shrunken Heads."
"Escape Velocity," the follow-up to 2009’s "Spirit Animal," was recorded in part by Zombi's Steve Moore and A.E. Paterra in Pittsburgh, PA and Nyack, NY. The album was mastered by Denis Blackham (THE WHO, LED ZEPPELIN, WILSON PICKETT, KRAFTWERK) at Skye Mastering in Scotland. The album also features artwork courtesy of Jeremy Schmidt (BLACK MOUNTAIN).
Ramesses, which consists of Mark Greening (drums), Tim Bagshaw (guitar) and Adam Richardson (bass, vocals), will return with two new releases later this year. The first upcoming release is a 12” vinyl and digital release titled "Chrome Pineal," which is due out on Ritual Productions on May 16th. The 12” features three brand new studio recordings and three live tracks, recorded in 2007. Ramesses will also release a new full-length titled "Possessed by The Rise of Magik" later this year.

Lazarus A.D. recently returned to the U.S. from the band's first European tour. Although the group was unfortunately robbed in the U.K., Lazarus A.D. still managed to continue the tour and slay fans with their trademark high energy live show across Europe. As was previously announced, the band will be heading out on the road with Cavalera Conspiracy. New dates to that run have now also been added.
Lead guitarist Dan Gapen adds, “We're extremely excited to get back to touring the US. We missed a few cities on our last tour and we can’t wait to blow those fucking places up. It’s such a great honor to share the stage with Cavalera Conspiracy – we are going to throw down HARD on this tour!”

Vampires Everywhere! has put the finishing touches on "Kiss the Sun Goodbye," which is scheduled for a May 17th release. The band is about to hit the road with crunkcore act Brokencyde and is now excited to unveil plans to hit the road with alternative icons Aiden this spring as well. The "Horror Nights 2011" tour features Aiden headlining with support from Eyes Set To Kill, Vampires Everywhere!, Get Scared, and Dr. Acula. Select dates will feature Escape the Fate as the guest headliner.
Michael Vampire comments, "Vampires Everywhere! is excited and honored to be sharing the stage with Aiden on their headlining US Tour. We want to show our evil love to Aiden so we'll be pushing to make our live show extra dark & intense! We will be playing new songs off our upcoming full length Kiss The Sun Goodbye coming out May 17th. The lineup for this tour is amazing & were excited to see all of our fans on the road!"

Within the Ruins has released an exclusive sneak-peak audio stream of the band's rendition of “Carry On Wayward Son” from the forthcoming EP, "Omen," which is due out May 24th on Victory Records. The new EP features not only this cover of the iconic Kansas track, but also a cover of “Fight Fire with Fire” from Metallica and two brand new songs.

Finland's Ghost Brigade is hard at work on the band's upcoming third album, which is nearly completed. The band issued the following brief statement about the upcoming album:
"Fuck webisodes, studio blogs and soulless press statements. We have made a new record and it's called 'Until Fear No Longer Defines Us'. Expect a late summer release on Season of Mist."
Additional details on "Until Fear No Longer Defines Us" will be announced as it is made available.
Necrophagia will be releasing the new album "Deathtrip 69" on May 16th (one day later in the U.S.). The title track from the album is being made available as a free download through Season of Mist. Click here to download the MP3. The album's cover artwork is available at this location.

Elitist, one of the latest addition to Season of Mist's Underground Activist roster, will see the release of the band's debut album on June 20th (one day later in North America). The cover artwork for "Fear in a Handful of Dust" can be viewed below.
The Dillinger Escape Plan has posted a music video online for "Gold Teeth on a Bum," a track that originally featured on last year's "Option Paralysis." Recorded live in Italy in autumn 2010, the video was directed by Salvatore Perrone. The clip can be viewed below.
Season of Mist has just inked a European deal with Texan lunatics Fair to Midland. "We are filled with excitement to be working with Season of Mist," singer Darroh Sudderth comments. "We're genuinely proud of this new record and believe our European listeners/friends are in for a pleasant surprise. We are antsy as hell to get back overseas!"
Fair to Midland's new full-length is entitled "Arrows and Anchors" and will be released in the early summer. "We are a band that makes albums and this is the best one that we've ever made. It might be the heaviest non-metal album you will hear this year," adds Darroh. The follow-up to "Fables from a Mayfly: What I Tell You Three Times Is True" has been produced by Joe Barresi (TOOL, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, COHEED AND CAMBRIA).
Since the release of "Fables From a Mayfly" in 2007, the band has shared the stage with bands such as the Smashing Pumpkins, Flyleaf, Chevelle, Dir en Grey, Alice In Chains, and Serj Tankian throughout the U.S. & Europe. The band has made appearances at festivals such as Coachella, Bamboozle, Download Festival, Rock AM Ring and Rock IM Park.
The first of six Hate Eternal video clips has been posted online through Metal Injection. Check out footage of Erik Rutan and co. in the studio as they work on recording "Phoenix Amongst the Ashes" and stay tuned as Metal Injection posts five more video clips from Hate Eternal in the studio in the coming weeks.
Elvenpath has issued the following announcement about parting ways with drummer Boldie von Herbolder:
"New drummer wanted: due to personal differences, Elvenpath and Boldie decided to walk separate ways from here on. He will still fulfill drum duties for the forthcoming gigs though. We wish him all the best and are looking for a new drummer!"
The band also recently announced a live interview to be conducted online this Friday, April 15th.
Digital download store Metalhit.com has launched the first of many future monthly compilations to be available for free download worldwide. Owner, Mike Riddick, comments:
"What’s unique about these monthly compilations is that they will feature as-of-yet unreleased tracks from metal bands spanning a variety of genres. Metalheads want to be ‘in the know’ on the latest titles, and what better way to do this than to offer up legal downloads of the latest from metal’s greatest labels...days-to-weeks before their official release!"

Fans now have their first chance to sample the music on Winds of Plague's brand new opus "Against the World." The album, which drops on Tuesday (4/19), has been cut into a sampler and is now streaming online through the video clip below.
Winds of Plague will be taking over Los Angeles next week, as the band has been tapped to headline the Revolver Magazine Golden Gods Pre-Party at the Key Club on Tuesday night. Support on the show comes from As Blood Runs Black along with multiple recent Century Media signings including The Devastated, Suffer Well, and 7 Horns 7 Eyes.

Demonical has posted a music video online for the song "Ravenous," which is off the band's upcoming album "Death Infernal." You can view the video clip below. "Death Infernal" will be released on April 15th, 2011.

Greek metal act Septicflesh has announced the band will be supporting Children of Bodom on an upcoming North American tour. Rounding out the bill are Obscura and Devin Towsend Project. The dates and venues for the tour can be found in the poster below.
As we come upon the one year anniversary of the passing of Peter Steele, twelve bands have lent their talents and provided cover songs for an upcoming tribute album. Denmark's symphonic outfit Fairytale Abuse contributed a black metal rendition of "Black No. 1 (Little Miss Scare-All)," which is the second track on the tribute.
Explaining the recording process for the cover song, vocalist Simon Pederson recently shared his thoughts on how the band translated the track into something unique while still staying true to the original version. He also discussed how the fracturing of the various sub-genres has left heavy metal with fewer legendary icons to inspire the upcoming generation of new fans. Denmark's Illdisposed has announced that the band's new album "There is Light (But it's Not For Me)" entered the official Danish album chart at position number 78. This is the band's fifth album in a row to enter the charts. Illdisposed also recently announced an appearance at the upcoming Metal Splash Open Air festival. Finland's Human Scum recently announced several lineup changes. The band has now checked in with the following brief update about deciding to call it quits:
"In the beginning of the year 2011 we have made the decision of ending Human Scum. We would like to thank everybody who has supported Human Scum, all the bands we played with and all those who came to see us live."

Steelwing, which recently parted ways with the band's bassist, has now checked in with the following update about working on new material and recruiting a new member:

Studio time has been booked for late summer and we've already had a rewarding meeting with the producer-to-be, with whom we seem to be completely on the same page. Sweden's Pain has posted a second trailer online for the band's upcoming album "You Only Live Twice." You can watch the video clip below. "You Only Live Twice" will be out June 3rd, 2011 via Nuclear Blast Records, and the previously uploaded trailer is also still available here.

Finland's Dead Shape Figure has issued the following announcement about parting ways with guitarist Kride Lahti:
"Kride has left the band due personal reasons and lack of motivation. There is no bad blood between him and the band and we like to thank Kride for the years he shared with DSF. Take care buddy! So we need a new guitar player now."

Dead Shape Figure also recently contributed a cover version of Type O Negative's "Dead Again" for Metalunderground.com's upcoming Peter Steele tribute album. The cover artwork and first teaser trailer for the album can be found at this location.

Swedish death metal act Blood Mortized has signed a deal with Chaos Records for the release of the "Bestial" EP. The EP was recorded, mixed, mastered and produced by drummer Mattias Borgh at Underworld Recording in Sweden. Featuring artwork from Thomas Kynst and Daniel Devilish, the four track EP is slated for a June/July 2011 release on both CD and Vinyl format. A teaser for the release is available here.
Blood Mortized was founded in late 2007 and the band's music is heavily influenced by old school death metal from the the early 90's. Drummer Mattias Borgh commented on the signing: "We are very pleased to work with Chaos Records on this release, they are the perfect label for this EP and we can't wait for the underground monsters around the globe to able to get their filthy hands on the equally filthy 'Bestial' EP!"

Phoenix Arizona based metallers Hemoptysis have announced that their debut album "Misanthropic Slaughter" will be available in stores throughout Europe on May 27th, 2011. The album is being released throughout Europe via Rock It Up Records,
