Novembers Doom Premieres New Song Online

NOVEMBERS DOOM has leaked "Empathy's Greed," the third cut off their forthcoming full-length, to MetalSucks.net. The track is available for download/posting/sharing here.

"Empathy's Greed" comes from NOVEMBERS DOOM's forthcoming seventh LP, "Into Night's Requiem Infernal," which is due out later this year on THE END RECORDS. The album was recorded at Belle City Sound, tracked by Chris Djuricic (Engineer and Novembers Doom bassist), and mixed by Dan Swano at Unisound. The band comments:

"We're using the same Recording / Mixing formula we've used on 'The Pale Haunt Departure' and 'The Novella Reservoir'. In our opinion, the combination of Djuricic and Swano creates the perfect sound for us, and we've received nothing but stellar reviews of sound quality from this combination in the past.

"Every band hypes their new material, and says it's the best they've done, and the hardest and the heaviest... You can judge that for yourself in time. What we can say is that this is the first time going into a recording the entire band feels confident and believes the material will please fans of the band, as well as turn many new heads in our direction. It's dark, aggressive, and melodic, and compliments the last three releases." More...

Opeth Issues Tour Road Report

Opeth front man Mikael Akerfeldt has issued the following road report about their recent tour dates:

"Buenos Aires? I love you! Yeah, kinda fell in love with the city...absolutely stunning! I could definately see myself and my fam having a few weeks on holiday there.

"Well, recently returned from the Latin/South American tour. It's been such a blast I can't even begin to tell ya. We started in Monterrey/Mexico and the vibe of that show resonated throughout the entire tour. All the shows were awesome! Our flight schedule was pretty hectic to say the least.

"Mexico was fantastic overall, loads of people...sold out in Monterrey, sold out the first night in Mexico city which was a magical show, had another 1500 people (more than half sold) for the 2nd show in the same venue, which was another magical night! Food was amazing, fans were amazing...overall...yeah, AMAZING! Thanks!!

"Next up, Bogota/COLOMBIA! The hotel didn't have a bar which had the whole touring party being grumpy motherfuckers, semi-alcoholics as we are. The show was great, and getting there was interesting. We were driving through central Bogota when people all of a sudden started running in out direction through the streets. We saw tear gas or some type of smoke bombs go off and the military rode in. Apparently we'd been caught in the middle of a street manifestation. A little scary yes, but wow...interesting all the same. The landscape around the city looked amazing, but we only saw it from the inside of a car. The show was great and the crowd was super nice to us. Shitloads of peeps that came to see us...thanks a 1000!!! More...
