INTO ETERNITY guitarist Tim Roth has issued the following road update:
"I can't believe we are almost done another US tour. There are only four shows left for this killer package. We are in Portland tonight, trying to recover from last night. Maurizio from KATAKLYSM came out in Chicago. Chicago was an amazing gig for us! Denver was a highlight as well. Madison amps brought me my cabinet, so I have a full Madison rig now. Thanks again Andy!! The midwest shows were cool, but Vancouver topped them all I think. It's great to have the Canadian support as well! We met another fan with a cool IE tattoo last night. I'm still blown away when I see that! Jeff and Van (NEVERMORE) came out in Seattle and we had a few too many drinks with them. They are great guys and it was cool to hang with them again. Nevermore was one of the first really cool bands that we played with back in 2000/2001. They are still one of my all time favorite bands. The guys also brought along Tim Calvert (Nevermore/FORBIDDEN). I was so happy to meet him. Forbidden were an amazing thrash metal band that I really dug growing up. I had Tim tell me road stories all through the evening. Stu would just look over at me and laugh because of my fan boy questions I had for him. I'm sure he was sick of all my questions. Forbidden RULES! Thanks again to all the bands and crew members that were a part of this tour. There are still four shows to go, so we are going to enjoy every day as much as we can. We have one México headlining show April 15th and another headlining show in San Marcos April 17th. From there we head 30 hours back home to Canada. Thanks to all of our great fans that came out and supported our band. You all RULE!!! Hopefully we'll be back on the road in the USA very soon! Keep it metal!"
GUNS N' ROSES have announced on their website that they are postponing the start of their world tour which was due to start in Japan.
The Japanese concerts are being rescheduled. Guns N' Roses will be able to make their two scheduled performances headlining the MyCoke festivals in South Africa at the end of the month.
“I feel so bad right now,” explains bassist Tommy Stinson. “I accidentally fell down a flight of stairs. I put my hand down to break my fall and heard a loud ‘pop.' The next morning my hand looked like a balloon. I went to see my doctor and while the good news is that it’s not broken, the bad is news is it’s severely sprained and I may have done some ligament damage. We had our last rehearsal a few days ago and shipped the gear to Japan and then this happened. I feel horrible.”
“I'd like to apologize to our Japanese fans that were looking forward to seeing us and know that we will we see you all soon. Again, we'd like to sincerely thank our fans worldwide for their patience and support.”
Sounds of the Underground has announced the lineup for their annual tour. The day will be completed with a bill including Necro, Darkest Hour, Amon Amarth, The Acacia Strain, The Devil Wears Prada, HeavyHeavyLowLow, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, Goatwhore, This Is Hell, and 2 Cents. Expect additional special guest headliners to join the bill on select dates.

Old-school Finnish death metal masters DEMIGOD have signed a deal with Xtreem Music to finally release their long-awaited third album.
Commented the band:"After careful consideration, DEMIGOD has finally decided to release their third album, 'Let Chaos Prevail', self-financed in Scandinavia. The band's strong belief in the material took them to Fantom Studios already last summer and now finally after almost a year of pondering their options, the band will finally release the album. As their criteria for the release this time was proper promotion in Finland and Scandinavia combined with wide spread distribution over the world, the band came to the conclusion of releasing the album self financed in Finland and getting a foreign partner to handle the distribution and promotion all over the world. The right label for co-operation was found in Xtreem Music. With Xtreem Music handling the distribution & promotion worldwide and the band themselves taking care of the Scandinavian market, the album will surely reach everyone who is interested in getting it."
"Let Chaos Prevail" will be released on May 30 in Scandinavia and June 15 in the rest of the world. A song from the upcoming CD, entitled "Not Dead Enough", can be heard via the group's MySpace page.

Norwegian extreme metallers THE ALLSEEING I have parted ways with guitarist Rune Henrichsen.

This was a tough decision, but I feel that I can no longer give 100% in this musical direction. Over a long period of time I've felt a growing need to express extreme music in a more basic, less technical approach. My thanks to my bandmates, and everyone who has supported us through the years!"

Terje Vik Schei; CARPATHIAN FOREST, GREEN CARNATION, BLOOD RED THRONE).
THE ALLSEEING I had previously released a four-song EP, "Jagannâtha", containing the tracks "Jagannâtha", "The Rite of Azhi Dahaka", "Dreamborn" and "Chronus Aion".
