Charlie Benante commented:
"Hey everyone in Anthraxland, I know things are getting out of control and I wanted to speak to our friends about this situation. The story is true — we have parted ways with Frankie. This was a difficult decision to make. We didn't want things to turn out this way, but they have. I can't get into "why" this happened, all I'll say is Anthrax were going one way and Frankie was going another.More...

ARCH ENEMY guitarist Michael Amott has issued the following message via Century Media:
“Hi everyone, some very bad news I'm afraid.... we are in Germany as you know, and after having had some really great shows in the last few weeks, Angela has fallen ill. We had to cancel the gig in Osnabruck last night - we were hoping that she would be better today but her throat has actually got worse, to the point where she can't even speak, let alone sing. I hate to have to say this, but it has now become obvious that we can't do Essen tonight or Antwerp on Friday either. We will meet up again in the U.K on Sunday and finish the tour there.
Our deepest apologies go out to our German and Belgian fans, especially those who had traveled long distances last night to see us in Osnabruck; hopefully those of you with tickets for tonight and tomorrow will see this before you start your journey. Tickets should be refundable from point of purchase, and we are talking to the promoters about trying to reschedule - just watch this space....
Have faith in metal... Michael Amott.”

The German Gothic metallers FLOWING TEARS have issued the following update on their official website:
"We will join THE GATHERING for the German dates of their semi-acoustic tour in March. Expect some special nights with a set featuring both Flowing Tears classics, some songs we never played live before, and some brand new stuff - all of them dressed in a trippy semi acoustic shape. Considering that the upcoming album "Razorbliss" (due March 22nd through Century Media) is by far our most heavy one we did so far we think it´s a nice way to celebrate the "softer" side in Flowing tears during these shows for which we´ll be joined by our friend and 5th bandmember in the background David Buballa on keyboards."
Upcoming Flowing Tears live dates include: More...

Recorded in Norway and completed following the band's 2003 European tour with Satyricon, "Morke Gravers Kammer" (meaning- The Gravediggers Dark Chamber) is an eclectic collection of fast and mid-tempo tracks that features the Oslo-based band's simple yet commanding take on the extreme style. The album features artwork by illustrious Norwegian photographer Marcel Leliënhof. He further directed the band's first video for album track "Dod".
Drummer/founder Sarke says, "the songs on this album are strong and the KHOLD trademark is there all the way. We have our own take on black metal. We offer something different within the genre and that can only be positive."
