The last two days off we spent at the camping site here in Paris having a blast with sightseeing and partying at the camping site.
"The battery-charged Mini-Marshall stack even allowed us to do an intensive jam session 'till we almost got kicked off the campingsite! Sorry for that. Its only Rock'n Roll, but we liked it. Tonite we are playing the 5th show of the tour and we are about to leave for more sightseeing @ Montmartre! Greetings to all of you, hope to see you at the shows!"

Knoxville, Tennessee's WHITECHAPEL has released the cover art and track listing for their upcoming new album, "A New Era of Corruption," which is due out on June 8th via Metal Blade Records. "The album is finally 100% complete and we couldn't be more excited. I think this record truly represents where we are as musicians at this point in our career. A New Era of Corruption is the heaviest and most aggressive material we have written to date," comments guitarist and founding member Alex Wade, Some of you may notice that the title of the new record, A New Era of Corruption, is a line from the song 'Possession' off of our last album This Is Exile. We wanted to name the CD this to bring a little flavor from 'This Is Exile' into the new CD, as well as I think the name represents this new age of extreme metal that we are currently rising in. The album is not a concept record like This Is Exile was. It just has its own general theme and each song deals with its own topic track by track." More...
Ohio power metal band ETERNAL LEGACY has finished recording drum tracks for 9 new songs for their forthcoming third studio album entitled "Seeking No Peace" (due out this summer on Auburn Records). This recording is going so much quicker than the last one. We are trying a new approach and finally getting the studio to the level we want it to be at. Mikey Cross, guitarist of the Las Vegas hard rock band Taking Dawn, has issued the following tour report:
"We had our last 2 shows in Europe in Paris and Luxembourg. 2 killer fuckin shows! I would like to say that Paris might be holding the title for the most kickass crowd we have ever had. About 4000 fists pumping and fucking shit up! So much energy in that room. We made a crowd cam video of the show so you can check it out for yourself. Its called "A night in Paris 2" Its sorta like an unofficial sequel to the Paris Hilton sex tape."
Watch the video below:
Mikey Cross continues, "Last Night we played our first show ever in UK in Portsmouth. So far we are pretty excited about the UK. We have been told soo many badass stories about the people there.. legend says that there are no crowds that rock harder. Last night was a nice little taste but the crowds are not always the most important… Paris may currently hold the title for best crowd but UK is currently holding the "hot girl" title. Everywhere we go there all kinds of beautiful bitches runnin wild! And I mean that in the most respectful way possible. All these different accents make me want to stay over in this motherfucker and never go back to the states! Or maybe ill just stuff a few of them in my suitcase and bring them with me."
"We were confirmed for a new UK tour very soon. We cannot announce it yet but it will be amazing and it will be the biggest baddest fucking thing we have ever done! So excited. I sometimes wonder how we get these opportunities.. we are only decent musicians.. its probably just the way we look. We are usually voted "best looking band in the world". Its a poll that our parents and closest friends put together every year. Which reminds me, we were actually nominated for a METAL HAMMER Golden Gods award for "best new band" You should all follow this link and vote for us. We are sick of winning 'best looking band.' We want to win something else for a change!"

German black metal act Membaris has issued the following update about releasing a third full-length album:
"Over two years of crime and passion lay behind us. Finally we can proclaim the release date for our third full-length album entitled 'Grenzgänger.' The odyssey through our nightmares starts on April, 23th. Some short facts: 55 minutes of cold, scornful Black Metal, performed with the velocity of light. Individual soundscapes shaped with the help of (among others) Tore Stjerna. Artwork by Fina Krüger, illustrating each song with a distinct painting. An album dedicated to the eerie wombs of nuclear light. Enjoy the hatred and don’t blame us for the delay. For all the rest we will remain silent and let the music speak."
Membaris tracks can be heard through the band's official MySpace page.
