Maryland based six-piece Periphery is embarking on a North American tour alongside Fair To Midland and Scale The Summit.
Guitarist Alex Bois states: “This tour couldn't have come at a better time! We are fresh off of our first UK/EU tour and hungry to return to our home crowds. We've all been HUGE fans of both bands for a while now and it will be great to finally share the road/stage with them. I think our styles compliment each other in such a way that this tour will be educational, as it is exciting. Our new Icarus Lives EP will also be released on April 19th, so we're also stoked to be showcase some tracks from it.
“We just drove over 1,400 miles to Houston to start our tour with Fair to Midland and Scale the Summit. Unfortunately, FTM and STS had to pull-out of the first four dates in Texas due to an illness but fear not, we are still playing those venues on those dates as a headliner with a go-go-gadget extendo set-list for all to enjoy. Well, all except today in Houston where we decided to find our own venue (house of creeps) and do a completely free show! Yes, our show is cheaper than Walmart or Target.
“We'll meet up with our boys in FTM and STS on Tuesday in Arizona and begin bamboozling North America. Both of these bands are amazing and were stoked to see everyone's reactions to such a tasty line-up. See you all soon.”

Forbidden / Demonica / SpiralArms guitarist & songwriter Craig Locicero and his co-host "Barbwire" Bill Shields (former host for In the Dark Radio, Professional Wrestler and current Ordained Minister of the Collective Conscious) will be taking questions and speaking off-the-cuff on whatever news related and controversial subject may come up.

"2) Have listeners sit in on a real conversation between good friends without censorship watering those thoughts down. Hosts Bill and Craig will be taking questions & topic suggestions live and will have unfiltered reactions to them in real time. These conversations will not hold back and could get very heated at times, depending on the topic. Tune in live this Friday to the Omega Wave Show at this location."
Death metal act Master, which was scheduled to kick off a U.S. tour this week with support from Lightning Swords of Death and Mobile Deathcamp, was denied entry into the country and forced to return to the Czech Republic.
Master main man Paul Speckmann issued the following statement:
"We arrived Tuesday morning in Holland and after intense questioning we proceeded to the eye and body scan machine. Along with the other passengers, we proceeded to the plane. We arrived in Detroit and went to passport control. I waited for about two hours for any word on the guys. The police came to explain that the visa waiver program didn’t apply to musicians. So they sent me to customs and proceeded to tear apart everything and sent me on my way. I waited for six hours to get on another airplane and return to Europe.
"Thankfully the lady at the Delta checkout counter was very helpful and confirmed that the guys would be on the next plane in the evening and I could return with them. The guys were escorted to the plane by four police officers and returned their passports when we arrived in Amsterdam. Since when are musicians and terrorists in the same category? Again I apologize to all the bands, organizers and fans of course. I guess the CD cover of the Human Machine CD has become a reality!”
Additional information on rescheduled dates and whether the supporting bands will be continuing the tour will be announced as details become available.

I’ve seen literally hundreds of shows in my life and for the past decade or so, there’s been one band on my concert bucket list that I somehow had never managed to see: Motorhead.
That all ended when Lemmy, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee invaded Boston this week and it would be the understatement of a lifetime to say it was more than worth the wait.
These three have been playing together since 1985 and to call them “tight” is like saying Sydney Crosby is a good ice skater. They play as one and their raw chemistry defies words. More...

Futures End has checked in with the following statement about the band's lack of touring and plans for upcoming live shows:
"Hello friends! As you know, we have been trying to get on the road for some time. Our dream of touring and playing for you all has been very close to realization on several occasions now, but each offer we have gotten has not been realistic in terms of financially and logistically getting it on the road. We had discussed a US tour with Pagans Mind last fall that was just a couple of steps away from reality when the plans were suddenly scrapped due to logistics and finances. We had toyed with the idea of playing Europe this spring, and were very close to making deals that would have facilitated that when we opted for a US tour at the behest of management we hired last fall. We had signed with a manager that was working hard at putting us on the road with Mindflow this spring. Plans had changed several times, and during the course of that relationship, both parties had discovered that we had differing ideas of how to accomplish our goals.
"Our manager worked very hard at his idea of how it should be done, and unfortunately we just couldn't not see eye to eye on the plan, or the goals. Ultimately due to these differences, we split with our manager amicably. We are now in the warm and caring embrace of Rob Lewis, who has manged so many successful tours in the past 20 years that I could not possibly provide enough space to list them. Rob managed Sadus on the road, and we are quite confident that working with Rob is the move that will get us out to play for you all. Rob understands the limitations that our situation presents us and has presented us with ideas for touring that meet our goals as well as make sense financially. More...
