"Giving you guys a little update on the progress of our debut album titled 'If Minds Could Only Paint Pictures' to be released through First To Fight Records. Overall planning has been finished. Pre-Production recording begins April 10th with Brian Thompson of Drive-By Bukkake. It's going to be 8 songs which will be absolutely non-stop all the way through, we definitely picked out what we think is an awesome track by track listing. We wont be giving out what tracks and what order, we're gonna leave that as a surprise. There will be a couple of guests on the album which should be really cool. We have a studio in mind but we'll be naming that once the dates are confirmed. Recording of the actual album begins sometime early May. Expect a teaser track once pre-production is done to give you a little taste of what's to come.
"Also we would like to announce that we are now endorsed by Soultone Cymbals based out of Turkey. We're absolutely pumped to be using their cymbals because they're some of the best sounding cymbals we've ever heard. Definitely check them out! Stay tuned for more updates, there will be plenty."

Megadeth bassist David Ellefson has checked in from the road with the following update:
"Greetings Everyone! Just finished our show in Austin, TX tonight...was fantastic and huge. The SXSW music convention just finished last week so I figured everyone would still be hung over but the town was alive and our show was full of VERY enthusiastic fans. It was good to be back in town again and we broke out 'The Right To Go Insane' for the first time ever. The new video is looking great and should all be launching as the next single shortly. A ton of great stuff brewing. As you saw on the homepage I conducted an interview for Megadeth Radio with Ron McGovney (original METALLICA bassist) while we were in Asheville, NC this past week. In fact, I've done interviews with our friends in EXODUS and TESTAMENT as well. Those should be airing soon.
"Tune in to hear the SIRIUS 'Liquid Metal' show interview with Dave and I this weekend, too. Our friend Jose Mangin (who conducted the interview) posted his video of us testing out his famous tacos he kindly made and brought to us at the Scranton, PA show. Good backstage fun, especially if you were hungry!
"We are in the final week of the RIP North American tour and it has been a total blast to be back playing for you all and meeting so many of you in the meet n greets, as well as the fun I see you all having from the stage. Chat with ya soon...."

Andy starts on guitars at 10am this morning with bass to be completed tomorrow. From there I will be recording keyboards at Symphony studio early next week before we add vocals to the mix the following week!"

Unlike most newer thrash bands, Lazarus A.D. isn't afraid to be original. While they still wear their influences on their sleeves, they would still rather invite controversy than repeat the accomplishments of others and have managed to break new ground in thrash metal when for years cynics thought it would be impossible.
Having toured extensively for their debut album The Onslaught, Lazarus A.D. has proven to be the true saviors of thrash, sounding far too mature than a band that only has one album to their name should. The new decade has it's new metal saviors and you're either with them or against them.
Finding myself lucky to catch up with guitarist Dan Gapan, an interview was inevitable. More...
