"The ROCK BAND rockers community (http://www.rockband.com/rockers_home)has been absolutely THRASHED and SHREDDED to the bone in their many attempts to play the AT THE GATES classic, "Blinded By Fear" and THE HAUNTED's "D.O.A." Judging by the comments on the official ROCK BAND forums, however, out of all of the songs in the pack, EVILE's "Thrasher" seems to have given players their greatest challenge yet. Here's what some of the most hardcore ROCK BAND players in the world have to say about it:
"This satisfies my extreme metal wants for a long, long, long time. That time will be spent putting ointment on my blistered fingers due to Thrasher, no doubt." - Chief Stubbs
"Got my butt kicked in solo 2 of Thrasher." - JoshuaNeff
"Thrasher: DEAR FREAKING LORD! This song is so frikkin insane it's not even funny...When I saw the first solo I nearly crapped my pants." - Xerosnake90
"Thrasher's quick changes between beats are seriously challenging" - Contrapulator
"If you're the type who says that talk is cheap, then let these killer videos of all 3 songs show you what's got the ROCK BAND community buzzing: More...

"We at the PSYOPUS camp feel like real dousche bags but, we are sorry to explain to you that we are going to have to drop off of our Canadian dates with TODAY IS THE DAY, FUCK THE FACTS and COMPLETE FAILURE. Here's the story:"
"Back in January, PSYOPUS was kept from crossing the border for our small January tour. The reason started with the fact Arpmandude (Christopher Arp, guitar) has an attempted criminal mischief in the fourh conviction from 2001, and a violation of probation in 2002 where he served a month in jail. This was a flag warning for a bitch of a bitch of a bitch immigration woman who decided that Arpmandude was a 'risk to Canada.'" More...

According to the band's MySpace page, the group will play a single date in Nashville on March 19 before beginning a stretch of headlining shows and radio festivals on April 11 in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Drummer Brian Vodinh told The Pulse of Radio it's a great feeling to be able to play new songs on the road. "The bottom line is the new stuff is just fun to play," he said. "It's upbeat and, you know, every band goes through the whole same thing: when you tour behind an album for however long, even if it's just a year, it's just refreshing to bring out new stuff and, you know, have a different vibe onstage. We're really confident in the new material and I'll tell you, we'd better be after the nightmare it was to get this album done."
