Back after a recent hiatus, Memoir of a Massacre returns with label debut, "Images," released via Project: Records on March 5th, 2013. The EP is now available for streaming through the SoundCloud player below or over at the band's Reverbnation page here, and the following press release was also issued:
"Taking a huge leap forward since their initial untitled EP, Memoir of a Massacre delivers an atmosphere of relentless metal greatness. Achieving a fuller, grittier sound, while maintaining their signature melodies, ‘Images’ marks the first official album recorded with new guitarist Ryan Baggett. With the addition of fulfilling harmonies and adding a new dimension to the heavier sound on the album, Memoir of a Massacre is constantly explores ways to create something brutal for everyone.
"With several live podcast, e-station features, album reviews and interviews under their belt, Memoir of a Massacre has been building the hype for ‘Images’ since September. The journey for an un-named album had begun almost immediately after the release of their first untitled EP in 2009. After extensive auditioning and an onslaught of studio mishaps, MOAM fans believed there would never be another CD released. Originally a last minute addition for a show, Ryan Baggett just seemed to fit right in with the band and was offered a full-time position in the band, bringing to life the first of many intensely melodic and vicious songs – ‘Nothing Left’. Since then, the band has made its leap from nu-metal to a combination of the heartfelt melodies, intense chugging guitars, and overall fast-paced beatings familiar with metalcore.
"In August of 2012, continuing on with its paranormal theme, the band announced its first single and recent crowd favorite, ‘Possession’. At the end of August, the band found itself once again missing a bass player and now on hiatus. More...

My Kingdom Music is proud to announce that the Norwegian apocalyptic black metal force Revelation's Hammer has been signed for the release of the band's self-titled album. The label comments:
"With their unique and impressive sound of dark, epic and powerful black metal, the album is expected to be considered as one of the 'the next big things' within the Scandinavian Black Metal movement. With a modern, but yet old-school piece of art, Revelation's Hammer is ready to claim their throne within the extreme music scene and will definitely hook you up with their intense way of performing the black arts. Epic song structures, devastating and hateful vocals, ultrafast tremolo riffing, hellish drums of another dimension and a apocalyptic atmosphere that really brings forward a true sense of doom.
"The throat and strings are managed by the bands' mastermind Accuser while their heavy battery is performed by Myrvoll from Norwegian act Nidingr. The album is mixed by Børge Finstad at infamous Toproom Studio (Mayhem, Borknagar) and mastered by legendary Peter In de Betou (Watain, Dark Funeral). Exilis from Troll appears as a guest musician on some of the tracks.
"The artwork is put together by Portuguese Ricardo Fernandes and is a truly amazing collage built upon a carefully chosen collection of (anti)religious paintings that reflects the band's conception. Revelation's Hammer debut album is scheduled for release on June 3rd, 2013 through My Kingdom Music." More...
Heaven Shall Burn has made another track available from upcoming album "Veto." Germany/Austria/Switzerland/Norway: April 19th
Rest of Europe: April 22nd
Australia/New Zealand/Finland: April 26th
USA/Canada: April 30th
While "Veto" was mixed by Tue Madsen, there is an alternative mix available for all of the die-hard Heaven Shall Burn fans out there. The band's Maik Weichert (guitar) explains:
"The vinyl version and the Ltd. Edition 3CD Box Set of the record will feature an alternative mix, called 'Blizzard Over England Mix' by nobody less than Colin Richardson. The story behind the strange name for the mix: We were ready to fly over to England and mix the record, but there was a huge snow chaos in the UK-- no planes, no trains, roads blocked-- no way to get there. Colin was even snowed in and could not get out of the studio at all. So he mixed in almost absolute isolation and brought in a lot of interesting thoughts - without us sitting on the couch in the back and giving our 'valuable' advices...We really like the result and thought you should also listen to it.
"Most people might find that the mixes aren't very different, but those who are interested in sounds and tweaking can discover lots of different details. The vinyl will come with a CD that has the entire album in the Tue Madsen mix, while Colin Richardson's mix will be added as additional and 3rd CD to the Ltd. Edition 3CD Box Set that is only available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland." More...
Reign of the Architect will release debut album, "Rise," via Pitch Black Records on April 16th (everywhere except the USA, where it will be released on May 14th).
The album features guest appearances from Jeff Scot Soto (Yngwie Malmsteen, Journey), Mike LePond (Symphony X), and Joost Van Den Broek (Ayreon, After Forever). The fifteen tracks, spread over three “acts” on this album make up what is part one of a two part concept, telling a tale of love, destruction, and survival in the aftermath of this power struggle. The mastermind behind Reign of the Architect, Yuval Kramer comments:
“The story-line is an allegory of the powers that rage inside the human soul. Titles like 'good' and 'evil,' 'right,' or 'wrong' are subjective terms which we only use to legitimize our actions. We wanted to focus on the survival instinct, which, in times of need, forces us to victimize ourselves and bend the rules just to turn the scale.
"Then we have to destroy this self and re-build a new one who will eventually do exactly the same in the next similar situation. We wanted to point out this eternal battle between creation and destruction that wages inside the human psyche since the beginning of time, to grasp this feeling of being alone when it is most crowded.”
Pitch Black Records also comments on the band: "Based in Israel, and formed of musicians from several countries, Reign of the Architect is a progressive metal band that has created a masterful debut album. With rich soundscapes incorporating traditional folk instruments and soaring vocals which would appeal to fans of Blind Guardian, Ayreon, Pain Of Salvation, Kamelot and Devin Townsend." More...

"Ten years later, we are grateful to be continuing on the path. A little less than two years ago we made an announcement that Minsk would be going on an extended hiatus.
