"The crimson tide rise again! And this time it comes across as more ferocious and devastating than ever before! Blood Tsunami's new album 'For Faen' shows a band that has stripped their metal to the bone. Harder, meaner, dirtier and way more aggressive!
"This album is a relentless sonic beating. The songs are thrown at you, one by one, with an infernal speed that threathens to rip off chunks of flesh from your whole upper body. Rampant dogs is jumping out of your loudspeakers, daggers and bullets comes at you like a wall of horizontal rain. This is metal the way it was meant to be. Totally vicious and utterly dangerous!
"'For Faen' is a monster of an album that will break your legs off by the knee and use them to beat the skull straight off your spine. You are in for some sickening tales from the dark side of humanity. Grotesque stories about some of the worlds worst serial killers, detailed information about horrendous ancient torture methods, war crimes, mass murder and chemicals, addiction and rotten human skin." Hacride will release the new album "Back To Where You’ve Never Been” on April 22nd in Europe and April 19th in Norway, Germany, and Austria. ”Back To Where You’ve Never Been” will be available as a digipack and as a limited box edition released exclusively in France.
Hacride will be touring Europe in 2013. Check out the tour dates below. Indie Recordings also commented on the band:
"Putting Hacride on equal footing with their early influences would be presumptuous; refusing to let them go would be unfair. For ten years every album of the French crew has represented a move forward, one more step towards musical emancipation. From indie 90’s metal to the syncopated grooves of the early two-thousands, the progressive extreme metal elements that characterized the band have progressively merged into one entity: Hacride is the legitimate son of a different and ingenious generation of extreme modern music.
"Enriched by musical experiences and three critically acclaimed albums; the group has made a strong reputation for themselves by performing at major metal festivals such as Grasspop, Summer Breeze, Metal Camp and Hellfest, along with doing European tours and playing shows in India.
"2013 is a big year for Hacride because not only does it mark the unleashing of a fourth album, but it also marks the launching of a new collaboration for the team now welcoming two members to their ranks, Florent Marcadet (Klone, Step In Fluid, ex-25 ta Life…) on drums and Luiss Roux on vocals." And be on the lookout for their third full length release titled, ‘For I Am Genocide’ coming later this year on Comatose Music!"

Relapse Records is excited to announce the signing of Cleveland, OH metal/hardcore veterans Ringworm.
Formed in 1990, Ringworm (Human Furnace - Vocals, Matt Sorg - Guitar, John Comprix - Guitar, Ed Stephens - Bass, Danny Zink - Drums) has previously released six full-length records on labels Deathwish, A389, and Victory Records in addition to playing countless shows with the likes of Cro-Mags, Integrity, Kreator, Goatwhore, Nasum, and many others. The band will be entering the studio to record a Relapse debut this April. Vocalist Human Furnace commented on the signing:
"Throughout our existence I've felt that Ringworm has always been the 'black sheep,' never quite fitting into any specific genre mold. Sometimes too metal for hardcore, other times too hardcore for metal. We enjoy distorting the line between the two and, often, completely destroying it. But I've always felt that we've never quite had a home that understood where we're coming from and embraced the fact what we are a 'black sheep' and we aren't cookie-cut bullshit. We feel that we finally found that home. They understand that there are legions of black sheep out there that don't fit into society's 'one size fits all' mold. We couldn't be more excited to be more working with Relapse." More...

The Ajna Offensive has announced May 14th as the North American street date for Tribulation's new album, "The Formulas of Death."
With "The Formulas of Death," Sweden's Tribulation returns to active service after working diligently on the sophomore album and follow-up to 2007's debut "The Horror" (reviewed here). The following press release was issued about the album:
"Expanding their sound entirely beyond the gnarly and vicious death metal that was heard on The Horror, Tribulation's The Formulas Of Death sees a much broader and expansive soundscape introduced, favouring atmosphere and evocative instrumental elements to contribute to a very different picture to that of its predecessor.
"Comparisons have been already made between the progression Morbid Angel made between Altars of Madness and Blessed Are the Sick and closer to home for Tribulation, the progression from Tiamat's Sumerian Cry to The Astral Sleep. Tribulation's The Formulas Of Death is an ambitious project for these still-young Swedes, which will undoubtedly take time to sink in to be fully appreciated." More...
Sworn to come back harder and more hateful than ever in 2013, Huntington, Long Island grindcore faction Buckshot Facelift delivered latest auditory assault on the scum of the Earth with the self-released "Elder’s Rasp" LP.
Since 2004 these henchmen have infiltrated the underground with an abortive and explosive death/grind//hardcore hybrid, ripping through D.I.Y. venues throughout the Long Island and NYC region. Following a demo in 2005 demo, Buckshot Facelift -- vocalist William Smith (Artificial Brain, ex-Biolich), guitarist Dan Baranello, bassist Tom Anderer (Thirsty) and drummer Sal Gregory (Grey Skies Fallen) -- released debut LP "Universal Goat Tilt" with local label Burn it Down/Rebuild Records. The label subsequently folded, so in 2009 the band went back to D.I.Y. basics and self-released the follow-up LP "Anchors of the Armless Gods" on limited, etched vinyl.
In 2012, Buckshot Facelift hit the studio to create a third album, in the process revamping the longtime lineup and replacing guitarist Dan Baranello with Paulo Paguntalan of NYC death/gore outfit Copremesis. The results of these torturous, booze-soaked sessions would see the band diversifying its range with more discordant metallic hardcore/doom-influenced riffage, culminating with the band's most putrid output yet, as the sixteen-track "Elder's Rasp." Directly after recording, Paulo left to pursue other projects, the band then doubling the axe attack and inducting Rick Habeeb (Grey Skies Fallen) and Terrel Granum. More...
