Emmure has released a new live performance music video for the track “Drug Dealer Friend.” Check out the video below.
The group will support the recently announced album, "Slave To The Game" (out 4/10), with a full North American tour this spring. The band was also announced to perform at Bamboozle on 5/19.

French extreme doom/death metal band Ataraxie recently put out a double CD, "Project X," to celebrate ten years of existence on Weird Truth (CD)/Ostra Records (LP). Tracks from that CD are streaming over on MySpace. The double album is basically a re-recorded version of "The Other Path" demo, plus some live footage and a couple of new songs. Below is an upload of the song "Eternal Sufferings," one of a few videos from "Project X" on YouTube. Ataraxie will next be playing live with fellow French band Cult of Occult and the U.K. band The Wounded Kings at Les Combustibles in Paris, France on March 1st.
Christian death metal act The Burial has issued the following announcement about signing with Facedown Records:
"We are stoked to announce we have signed with Facedown Records and will be releasing our new album 'Lights and Perfections' 3-27-12. Here is a new song, finally! Please share this everywhere!"
Houston progressive instrumentalists Scale the Summit are currently leveling stages across the U.S. on their first ever headlining tour with support provided by Elitist. Dubbed "Their Strings Are Voices" tour 2012, the trek is a week and a half in.
Commented guitarist Chris Letchford from the road: “Our Their Strings Are Voices headlining tour has been a blast so far. It’s great to see everyone really excited about us playing an 80-minute set and still want more when we're finished! Looking forward to the next few weeks on this tour!”
Scale the Summit is touring in support of "The Collective," released last year via Prosthetic Records. "The" Collective was recorded in late 2010 at Paint It Black Studios in Orlando, Florida with producer Mark Lewis (Devildriver, All That Remains, The Black Dahlia Murder). Prosthetic Records recently issued "The Collective on vinyl," and the LP — limited to 500 copies on high-quality 180-gram wax — is available now at the Prosthetic Store and features enhanced cover art as well as bonus track, “Redwoods,” initially only available on the Japanese version of the release. Iowa City metal act Blizzard at Sea is excited to announce a music video to accompany the entirety of the band's debut album "Invariance." Conceptualized, filmed, and edited by guitarist/vocalist Steven Douglas Ross, the video will run approximately 30 minutes and will be released in March. A teaser trailer can be viewed below. The band also commented:

Footage has been posted online of Annihilator performing live, which was filmed on the high seas on January 25th, 2012 on board the 70,000 of Metal Cruise, live in the A Chorus Line theater on the Royal Caribbean Ship Majesty Of The Seas. Check out the footage below.

U.K. based black metallers Deuteronomy have posted the following update online about the recording process for a new album:
"Greetings everyone,The mixing process on the guitars/bass and drums has been complete. Everything sounds massive and brutal and we are extremely satisfied.
"On late February we will record the vocals and then complete the mixing of the album. Also on late February an HQ drum video will be uploaded. Stay tuned."

Almah has confirmed its first show of 2012: the band will play at Metal Open Air taking place in São Luís, Maranhão (Brazil) on the 20th - 22nd of April. The cast of the festival will include more than 40 bands from Brazil and abroad such as Megadeth, Anthrax, Blind Guardian, Fear Factory, Grave Digger, Venom, U.D.O., Obituary, Exodus, Destruction, Symphony X, Andre Matos, Shaman Korzus among others.
According to Edu Falaschi: "We are very happy to participate in the first Metal Open Air. Such event will be a milestone for Brazil and I'm very happy that all our great bands will take part in such an important event sharing stage with many cool international bands and having the same opportunities and conditions! It will be a unique moment for all of us and we'll show once again that our public is the best audience in the world!"

Almah released its third studio full-length "Motion" via AFM Records (October 14th 2011 / Europe, January 17th 2012 / North America). The album was recorded in São Paulo, Brazil at Norcal Studios in May-June 2011 and mixed and mastered at Split Second Sound Studios (Amsterdam, Netherlands) by Jochem Jacobs (TEXTURES) in July.
The new Severed Fifth album "Liberate" is now available for streaming or free download via the band's official website.

The Darkness has added three more dates to it's U.S. tour and has premiered it's new animated video "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us," which we have posted below. The band is offering the single as a download by going over to The Darkness' official website. The Darkness will finally be releasing a it's full-length third album later in 2012. This tour marks the first time The Darkness has returned to U.S. soil in eight years.

Swiss folk band Eluveitie posted the new music video for the song "A Rose For Epona." The song appears on the band's new LP "Helvetios," which is scheduled for release on February 10, 2012 (EU) and February 28, 2012 (North America/Rest of World). The music video was produced by the Polish company Grupa13.

Female fronted Japanese power/symphonic metal quintet Liv Moon is streaming tracks from it's album "Symphonic Moon" at this location. Since the album is not readily available through most channels, Liv Moon has posted a download link on it's Facebook wall so that you may listen to it. Polish folk metal band Lord Wind, the creative endeavor of Rob Darken, is releasing it's new one "Ales Stenar" on Wolftyr shortly. Alruna will be playing fiddle on some tracks, and the album is heavily influenced by Conan The Barbarian.

Dutch blackened thrash/death metal band Onheil proudly presents the new music video for "The Fallen Kingdom," which can be viewed below. This is a track from the group's latest album "Razro," released by German metal specialists Cyclone Empire.
This video marks the ends of the period concerning Onheil's lastest album, and shows footage shot during the last few years, starting with Onheil's first live shows after reforming in 2007, going through the recordings and release of "Razor" in 2009, and touring activities in the following years.

Jordan based death/doom act Falling Leaves has announced the following news:
"Due to choices made by Falling Leaves keyboardist, Hussam Hadad, in both his personal and professional life, Falling Leaves and Hussam Hadad, have decided to mutually part ways. We wish Hussam the best in his future endeavors.
"Falling Leaves is pleased to announce our newest addition, and replacement for Hussam Hadad. Our new Keyboardist is Maria Zvyagina, a Russian musician who has performed with bands such as Wine from Tears and Erynium. We’re looking forward to the future!"

New York metal act Grey Skies Fallen has posted an extended version online of the band's single "The Visionary," which can be heard via Facebook. Grey Skies Fallen also commented:

Missoula, Montana based dark metal act Walking Corpse Syndrome, which features two drummers and a violin player among its lineup, has now issued the following brief announcement about parting ways with the band's vocalist:
