Bassist Steve Beatty comments, “We spent a year writing and rehearsing, taking our time and arguing intensely about this and that and we feel its been worth it. Its also the first time we have been able to complete the whole process with a stable and complete line up. This recording was time wasting idiot free! It shows, it’s a collective effort with everyone bringing their talents and suggestions into the mix. We took our time and wrote what we feel is a varied album, so many records seem to be ten of the same songs these days, we wanted so much to avoid this, we want the listener to let the album unfold in its own way. Enjoy every last drop of bile”.

'Hi, everybody. Tom here. It's been a while since I've written, and this time, I come with some news of changes. I'm sorry to tell everyone that my time with Church Of Misery will soon be coming to an end. Ever since a tour we did in Europe in 2008, I've had an incredibly strong intuition that I would be moving somewhere in Europe in the near future, and that time has now arrived. It was during that tour that I realized how much I missed the western world. I've been in Japan for 10 years now, and as the song says, 'my spirit is crying for leaving'. So, this coming European/UK tour will be my last with the band, and from May I'll be living in London.
"Playing with Church has been absolutely one of the greatest thrills of my entire life, so I want to thank them so much for the opportunity they gave me, and I really want to thank you guys for coming to gigs and being so cool to us everywhere we go. New Jersey progressive metal band Ferox Canorus has issued the following update:
"A few months ago we lost our singer/guitarist and Chris Colalillo, then keyboardist, took on double-duty and began singing the lead vocals as well. So there is a big discrepancy between the band's sound a few months ago and the way we sound now. The line up is stripped down (from 5 members to 4) but we actually sound better than ever. All the old recordings and most of the live videos of us out there are actually with our old singer, Ivan."
"Soon enough the EP will be finished. I just need to finish recording the guitars. The new lineup is working out great and the recordings reflect how well we work together as a team. I am super-excited that the EP is finally closing in on seeing the light of day and I can't wait to introduce everyone out there to our new and much improved sound." More...
