Virginia hardcore thrash hellions Iron Regan will obliterate the hordes on a menacing jaunt of live assaults this April.
Set to embark on April 2nd on the band's home turf, Iron Reagan will level the stages of twenty-one cities with co-conspiring labelmates/Creepsylvanian miscreants in Ghoul and blackened punk deviants/hometown comrades, Occultist. Calgary, Alberta's Million Dollar Fix has timed the release of a new track perfectly, as the cold-winter blues have set in across most of the Northern Hemisphere and the party-it-away attitude this band brings to the table is excellent medicine.

The Milan, Italy natives in Destrage are premiering a video for "Purania" today, the second single taken from new album "Are You Kidding Me? No." due out via Metal Blade Records on March 4th in North America.
Check out the video clip below, courtesy of FEARnet.com. The concept for the video was written by The TJS Collective and produced by Sara Bertagnolli and Gianluca Pagani. Destrage comments:
"We did the shooting on a freezing Sunday, in January 2013. Cold keeps people awake and reactive, but we didn't know it before that day! Anyway, a pretty large team of people was involved in the process of making this video. The Jack Stupid Collective came up with the concept together with the band, wrote the screenplay, set the style and organized the production. There was quite a lot of stuff to do. Location managing, set design (that place was a total blank warehouse). Casting, illustration, actor and extras managing and a lot of logistic shit. We also hired a D.O.P. and two camera operators, an electrician and everyone we needed on the set. When everything was shot, The Jack Stupid collective worked on it very hard for a few months in post production.
"It was a pretty exhausting process, especially the animation of every single drawing, but we're satisfied about the final result. We would like to thank everyone who was involved; you are too many to be mentioned, but you know who you are!
"The story is set in an imaginary city, Purania, where personal choice has been banned, and people are controlled by a central brain unleashing an army called Select & Defend, divided in small squads of Blamers and Erasers. An underground secret movement, which the government calls 'The Incoherents' is planning a revolt." More...
Karyn Crisis (Ephel Duath) has launched a crowd funding campaign for releasing her new solo album under the name Gospel of the Witches. Ephel Duath's Davide Tiso, who also appears on the project, has issued the following statement:
"Plotting, composing and putting together Karyn Crisis's solo project Gospel of the Witches spanned a five years period that literally changed our personal and musical lives. During this time we saw this album grow in different exciting directions and many shapes, we finished putting dozens of different dresses on it.
"One thing never changed: its soul. This album has its own peculiar and demanding will and it revealed itself to us little by little, riff after riff. Lately, after a bursting phase of musical inspiration that lasted a few months the 13 songs that we are about to record were nailed. Today it is with great excitement that we reveal to you some details about this very special piece of work.
"At the Kickstarter page here, Karyn has few things to say to you. What I feel to add is that I'm proud and blown away by what we accomplished: these songs show Karyn Crisis at her very best. There are not so many artists quite like her, let's support and celebrate together Karyn Crisis' new wonderful adventure."

The death metal psychopaths in Aborted have just finished their eighth full-length, "The Necrotic Manifesto," with Danish producer Jacob Hansen. The album will be released on April 28th in Europe and on April 29th in North America via Century Media Records. Front-man Sven de Caluwé comments:
"I can't believe we did it to be honest. We had a little over 3 months from start to master on this record-- everyone really gave 300% on this record, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with Jacob once again, who really pulled the best out of all our asses. I can say in all honesty that 'The Necrotic Manifesto' is without a doubt the strongest record Aborted has done thus far and could not be more proud of everyone involved in the project.
"It is the most brutal, extreme and technical record of the band without losing sight of groove and catchiness, which are all vital elements of this band. We cannot wait to get out there and start playing some new material in front of people and get some feedback on what we did in these intense months. Besides this I am very thrilled to have some of my favorite vocalists on this record as guests. Both Phlegethon (Wormed) and Vincent Bennett (The Acacia Strain) brought their own brand of burp to the table and really complemented the songs they are on! The artwork has been done by Par Olofsson (Pathology, Immortal)."
The album's track listing is as follows:
1. Six Feet Of Foreplay
2. The Extirpation Agenda
3. Necrotic Manifesto
4. An Enumeration Of Cadavers
5. Your Entitlement Means Nothing
6. The Davidian Deceit
7. Coffin Upon Coffin
8. Chronicles Of Detruncation
9. Sade & Libertine Lunacy
10. Die Verzweiflung
11. Excremental Veracity
12. Purity Of Perversion
13. Of Dead Skin & Decay

Atmospheric post sludge metal sorcerers North are preparing to unleash the ethereal rumblings of their "Metanoia" 12" EP on March 11th, 2014.
The EP was recorded and mixed by Dana Fehr Wavelab Studios in Tucson, Arizona with additional engineering by Chris Shultz and mastering by James Plotkin (OLD, Scorn, Khanate, Khlyst), and will serve as the follow-up to 2012's "The Great Silence." Elaborates guitarist Matthew Mutterperl of the compelling offering:
"Metanoia is defined as 'a change in one life's resulting from penitence or spiritual conversion.' Since our last LP, we've dealt with internal struggles that possibly could have stalled or stopped us completely, but there was a conscious effort. There were a series of moments where things changed, and where we needed to go, what we needed to do, and who we needed to be felt markedly different. This record is evidence of that; a preview of a newfound sense of being in a band, making music, and building complex relationships with good people for almost nine years. To me, the record couldn't have had any other title. It was the most appropriate." More...

Elvenking will release new album "The Pagan Manifesto" in May 2014 via AFM Records, with a teaser trailer available below.
The band has also announced its upcoming U.K. shows have been cancelled, issued the following statement:
"We are sorry to announce we won’t be able to play the UK shows as planned, for reasons that go beyond our will and control. Unfortunately the promoters didn’t show any respect and/or any kind of professional behavior to us.
"These shows had already been canceled in September 2013, and that caused us a big loss of money; nevertheless, we decided to cover those costs ourselves, with the promise of a better situation for the re-scheduled February gigs. After months of silence, unanswered mails, not a single information, plan or time schedule, we read on Facebook that the Dublin show was canceled and nobody had the good sense to let us know.
"Once asked what was happening and why nobody was telling us anything about this gig, the promoters decided not to pay the agreed amount of money that would have covered our costs for getting there.
"Our agency informed us that the advance payment, which was agreed from both sides - and which we needed to buy our flight tickets, was late. Furthermore, the contract hasn't been signed (until today) by the promoter, and the promoter informed our agency, that they don´t have money to pay right now and they have to wait for the money from the ticket sales. In other words: If the sales are bad (and no one ever told us how the sales were), we might end up paying again. More...

Australian metaphysical occult death metal band Impetuous Ritual has completed work on new album “Unholy Congregation Of Hypocritical Ambivalence.” The album will drop via Profound Lore on April 15th, and the label also comments:
"Manifesting what will be one of the darkest, swarming and suffocating death metal albums of the year, the follow-up to 'Relentless Execution Of Ceremonial Excrescence' takes the brutal and atmospheric sound paradigm Impetuous Ritual have forged and morphs it into a more advanced level of unrelenting sonic terror. An overbearing listening experience in the realm of death metal horror, 'Unholy Congregation Of Hypocritical Ambivalence' is a ceremonial-like offering where death metal surrealism and apocalyptic violence merges with an intellectual aesthetic forged through the album’s concepts and themes."

Italian blackened doom metal act Shores of Null have issued details on the upcoming debut release "Quiescence." The album drops on March 24th via Candlelight Records.
"Born with the sole aim of exploring the darker side of metal music, absorbing elements of gothic, doom, melodic death metal and other subgenres. It is something distant from the musical approach of the mother bands, some of which got over 10 years of experience under their belt (The Orange Man Theory, Zippo). Crushing epic riffs and impressive gloomy vocals are combined here with dismal lyrics and misty soundscapes, where the whole plot can be described as epic, intense and very peculiar."
The track list for "Quiescence" is:
