Crystal Eyes Recruits New Guitarist

Swedish group Crystal Eyes just issued this announcement about bringing on a new guitar player:

"The line-up is now complete and we are proud to announce Jonatan Hallberg as our new guitarist. We discovered him 3 years ago when he recorded a demo with his band Amnesia in our studio and his hunger and passion for music reminded us of the early days of Crystal Eyes.

"Along with a great personality and sick humour Jonatan is a fantastic guitarist and was our first and only choice for the spot. The fact that he showed up on the audition wearing a Running Wild t-shirt was enough to convince us and since he's younger than the band itself we know he'll kick our butts if things are not moving rapidly." Body Count Posts "No Lives Matter" Video

The wait is finally over, as Ice-T’s Body Count is back and more vicious than ever. The band's new full-length album, "Bloodlust," is set for a March 31st release via Century Media Records and the scathing music video for “No Lives Matter” can be seen below.

Body Count is the gangster metal collective that made music fearsome to mainstream America and with “Cop Killer” sent politicians, parents, and law enforcement officials into a proverbial tailspin a quarter-century ago.

“Music happens in climates,” Body Count frontman Ice-T says when asked about his expectations for the band’s new opus "Bloodlust," a razor-sharp collection of social right hooks and body blows that paint a picture of an America in utter and complete shambles. “Groups like Rage Against The Machine and Korn were born when the world was in turmoil, then music went into this delusional period where hip-hop became about nothing more than poppin’ bottles. Now we have impending doom again, racism is at an all-time high and it’s our season again. This is the optimal time for a Body Count record.” More...
