On March 31, 2009, Ministry mastermind Al Jourgensen will release "Adios...Puta Madres," a 13-track live audio CD featuring performances from Ministry's Final World Tour, "C U LaTouR 2008," recorded over the course of the band's 75-city global farewell jaunt which kicked off March 25, 2008 in Spokane, WA and concluded with two final sell-out shows in Dublin, Ireland on July 19, 2008. "Adios...Puta Madres" features performances recorded in Serbia, Warsaw, Los Angeles, Chicago, Germany, Czech Republic, and Slovakia, to name a few.
"We had a blast on the final tour and this CD really captures the heart of Ministry live," said Jourgensen, who personally mixed the recordings last fall at 13th Planet Studios alongside his touring front-of-house engineer Michihiro Tanikawa, as well as engineer John Bilberry.
Ministry's all-star line-up for the 2008 "C U LaTouR" featured Ministry's founder Jourgensen joined onstage by guitarists Tommy Victor (Prong) and Sin Quirin (Revolting Cocks), keyboardist John Bechdel (Prong, AoTW, False Icons), Static X's Tony Campos on bass, drummer AAron Rossi (Prong), and Fear Factory/Ascension of the Watchers vocalist Burton C. Bell as Special Featured Guest. Most of the performing musicians in the Ministry line-up for the final tour are also recording artists on Jourgensen's 13th Planet Records.
Jourgensen plans to release a follow-up Rocumetary of the tour entitled "Fuchi Requiem" later this year, featuring candid footage that follows the band from rehearsals throughout the entirety of its C U LaTouR, with additional on-camera interviews with the band and crew.
Ministry gems including "Khyber Pass," "Just One Fix," the Grammy-nominated "Lieslieslies," "Life is Good" and "Let's Go" will be included. A full CD track listing is as follows: More...

The Lancaster, Pennsylvania based post-metal act Century announced that they were recently rejoined by original drummer Grant McFarland and bassist Ricky Armellino, the respective drummer and vocalist of fellow Lancaster act This Or The Apocalypse. Additionally, the group has announced the addition of guitarist Todd Mogle to its ranks.
Century has also started work on the follow-up to "Black Ocean", and promises both "an exercise in futuristic sonic annihilation" and a "bold step forward stylistically." The as-yet-untitled CD is tentatively scheduled for a fall release. In the meantime, the band will play select regional dates — including an appearance at April's New England Metal and Hardcore Festival — and continue working on the video for "Black Ocean" track "Monolith", a continuation of the clip for the album's title track. The band also plans to record a cover of SEAL's "Kiss From A Rose" for an upcoming anniversary compilation to be released by Tribunal Records.
"I'm extremely excited to play New England Metal and Hardcore Festival," says CENTURY frontman Carson Slovak, "and I hope people walk away from the experience thinking I'm really, really cool."

We have a very important bowling match against LAMB OF GOD while we are in Australia and we CANNOT lose. We already took out UNDEROATH in dodgeball so DevilDriver needs to be 2 for 2 in competive athletics. We leave tomorrow for our first show in Brisbane and I really must express that this is one of the tours that I have looked forward to the most in my musical career. Recently, the 15-year-old shredders appeared on their own mini MTV rockumentary, "Rock N Roll Dream," which documented their real-life Cinderella story about four young boys catapulting from a Coweta, OK (population 7,000) garage band to opening for KISS in front of 35,000 screaming fans in Stockholm, Sweden. These events led to CX signing with EMI via McGhee Proffer Media (MPM) in August of 2008, all this within the span of nine months.
Their self-titled 10-song debut for EMI (in stores now), was helmed by hit producers Spencer Proffer (Tina Turner, Quiet Riot, WASP) and Michael Wagener (Metallica, Ozzy, Poison). Standout tracks on the new album include "Gone," "Time Is Now," "You Gotta Bleed," and "Adrenaline." The track "Nightmare," was featured in the successful Rock Band video game while "Gone" and "Rock N Roll Dream" are available as downloadable content for the game. The success of their debut landed them their first national late night TV appearance on ABC's JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE, where they showcased new single "Gone" in addition to fan favorite "Rock N Roll Dream." Polish black metal favourites Behemoth has entered the studio to begin work on a brand new studio album. New drummer Daniel Bergstrand comments: "The drums from beyond hell are miked up and ready to get whipped. I’m super happy with what we got so far... a lethal Polish bulldozer! I’m sure you guys will dig it! The drums are going to be tracked here in Radio Gdansk during next two weeks and after that I will start mixing them and get them ready for the final mix that will happen somewhere around May. We used 22 channels for the drums, it sounds very organic and natural and at the same time, VERY much in your face with a lot of attack. The room in this studio is amazing so the 2 ambience microphones that we've got are playing a big roll in the over all sound. Prepared to get blown away by the final result!!! Cheers!"
