Swedish Viking heroes Manegarm have fully completed their new and promising upcoming full length Dodsfard at the well-known Underground studios. Fans of the first two albums will definitely know what to expect, yet on this release there will be even more emphasis on the Viking themes and lyrics! The title is referring to the ancient burials of the Vikings, and the music has shown to be a fine, yet very recognizable elaboration of the band's first two impressive releases! Belgian artist Kris Verwimp will again take care of the cover art. To be released April 28th.
Sodom has finished mixing their upcoming live album, titled One night in Bangkok, at Harris John's Spiderhouse studio. No release date is scheduled yet. The band will tour South America and Mexico in May with Overkill.
At the moment Profanity are working on new intense stuff for their next release, HateRed Hell Within. In the meantime, they are searching for a new label.
Every Time I Die is currently at Trax East in New Jersey with producer Eric Rachel (God Forbid, Deadguy) recording their second full-length, Hot Damn!. Drums have been completed and guitars are well underway. Following recording later this month, they'll be shooting a video with Darren Doane amidst several tours. As you already know, the group will be hitting the road with Unearth and Evergreen Terrace in early-March. Then, ETID will be embarking on a mini-tour with Dillinger Escape Plan that will run from April 6th through April 11th. Finally, the band will then hook up with Hopesfall, The Beautiful Mistake, Brazil and Celebrity for a tour from April 24th until May 10th. Look for dates soon.
Soils Of fate from Sweden have signed for Slovakian label Forensick Music. You can expect Crime Syndicate (their 2nd follow-up to their much acclaimed debut Sandstorm) to be released in Spring. Drums were exclusively recorded by Kevin Talley (ex Dying Fetus, Suffocation)!
Throneaeon have also signed to Forensick. The new album has already been recorded and it will be released in the Spring. Matte Modin, of Defleshed and Dark Funeral, handled the drums on the release.
Forensick Music is also preparing a sonic blast over Europe with bands Internal Suffering (Col), Sanatorium and Throneaeon. Some dates have already been confirmed, but they are still looking for organizers and promoters; to get in touch contact them at firstname.lastname@example.org
Displeased Records will release a vinyl version of Necrophagia's latest effort, The Divine Art Of Torture. The vinyl disc is expected to come sometime in May.

Empyrium will finally release the limited CD version of their long out of print demo, Der Wie Ein Blitz Von Himmel Fiel, at the end of February. The disc comes in a deluxe wooden case with an engraved Empyrium logo and will be available to Prophecy subscribers.

Finnish atmospheric doom metallers Silentium have finished recording their third full-length CD, "Harmátia de Prudence", and are preparing to mix it for a late spring/early summer release through Spikefarm Records. The CD was recorded at Sundicoop Studio in Savonlinna, Finland and was produced by Nightwish mainman Tuomas Holopainen.
"[It will be] a very unique album," Holopainen said of the effort, which will feature a guest appearance by former Lullacry and current Soulgring frontwoman Tanja Kemppainen. Nevermore, Amon Amarth and Circle II Circle are the latest acts to have been confirmed for Rock Hard Festival 2003, a two-day event set to take place June 7-8 at Amphitheater in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. A total of 16 bands will appear at the Rock Hard magazine-sponsored festival, the official lineup for which will be announced during the coming weeks.

Sweden's Sargatanas Reign are the latest act to have been confirmed for this year's Motala Metal Fest, set to take place on April 19 at Folkets Park in Motala, Sweden.

A 45-second "teaser" sample of the new Katatonia track "Evidence" has been posted online at this location. "Evidence" comes off Katatonia's forthcoming sixth full-length album, "Viva Emptiness", due on March 24 through Peaceville Records.
Paradise Lost guitarist Greg Mackintosh recently offered words of praise for Phildelphia's Tapping the Vein, one of the support acts on their current European tour. According to Mackintosh, the two bands bonded while touring the States and show a mutual admiration for each other's music.
"Tapping the Vein have some very well constructed songs, and a great use of melody," he said. "They have the balance between rock/metal and electronic/industrial down to a fine art, which is expressed particularly well in a live environment. This is topped off by Heather, their vocalist, who has some of the best female vocals I've ever heard. After hearing them we knew they'd be perfect as an opener for our forthcoming European tour."
Danish extreme metallers Konkhra have signed a worldwide deal with Code666 Records. The group's long-awaited new album, "Reality Check", is scheduled for an April release.
"Reality Check" was recorded at Konkhra frontman Anders Lundemark's own Starstruck Studio and is the group's first since their split with longtime label Diehard Records. A video for "Warmonger" was recently filmed and will be serviced to various video outlets during the coming weeks.

Relapse Records recording artists Nasum have completed work on their forthcoming record, entitled Helvete.
Helvete, Swedish for "Hell", was recorded in Sweden's Soundlab Studios, with production from the band's own Mieszko Talarczyk. Pitchshifter frontman JS Clayden has revealed that he’s now working with former Cult bassist Billy Morrison in a new project called Doheny. This new project intend to record demos after the farewell Pitchshifter UK tour next month.
Brooklyn rockers DUST TO DUST are seeking a new guitarist. The band's sophomore release 'SICK' is due to be released this spring, and they have announced a need for replacement in the guitar department. Dust To Dust's visionary music is both abrasive and emotionally potent, so the guitarist must be versatile & energetic. Those interested must be willing to tour throughout this spring and summer. Tri-State area resident preferred (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut).
