Australian black metallers Nekrasov have announced they will release a limited edition split album with Aderlating through Chrome Leaf Records. The album cover can be found at this location. Nekrasov issued the following statement about the split:
"Just got word that the LPs have hit the pressing plant for the mighty NEKRASOV/ ADERLATING split LP on CHROME LEAF RECORDS. It should be ready in about 7 or so weeks. Only 300 of these beasts will be made so I would suggest getting in early to secure your copy by contact either of those involved."
Running Wild has issued the following statement about releasing a live CD of their Wacken 2009 performance:
"An eventful and historical year comes to an end: RUNNING WILD's last show forever at Wacken Open Air on July 30, 2009, was recorded for a CD and DVD release. Naturally you're looking forward to see this hitting the stores, but we're still working on some details. The DVD - scheduled to be released tentatively before W:O:A 2010 - will contain a lot of amazing specials you definitely won't miss! RUNNING WILD says thanks for all the wonderful moments and we wish everybody some extraordinary and relaxing days and a happy new year!"
Sweden's Slumber are currently streaming two new samples tracks online titled "Bermuda Riviera" and "Atoma." The songs can be heard at Slumber's MySpace page. Slumber also issued the following brief statement about uploading the tracks:
"As a response to the ongoing financial crisis, I've uploaded two sketch previews from the upcoming album to solve this global economic recession once and for all. Sit back, relax, and let the music own you."
U.A.E death metalers NERVECELL will be performing live in Colombo, Sri Lanka on December 19, 2009 with AS I LAY DYING. "We had played with AILD at Dubai Desert Rock Festival 2008 and it’s really great to be sharing the stage with them once again, only this time in a whole new country!," commented the band.
This will be Nervecell’s first ever live show in Sri Lanka. The show will be taking place in Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka – December 19, 2009.
As previously reported, NERVECELL will tour Europe / UK with SUFFOCATION on the Legacy of Blood European Tour in March 2010. Also appearing on this tour are Annotations of An Autopsy (UK), Fleshgod Apocalypse (Italy) and Burning The Masses (US).
The band commented: "It's a great honor for us to tour with Suffocation, as they have been a major musical influence on every member of Nervecell. We grew up listening to Suffocation and to go on the road with them is just mind-blowing for us! The band is proud to be the first from the Middle East to tour alongside one of the fore fathers of the death metal scene."

THE MURDER OF MY SWEET's debut album “Divanity” will see the light of day on January 29th in Europe and February 9th in the USA on Frontiers Records.
The first single off “Divanity,” “Bleed Me Dry” was launched last November 13th on the Swedish markets, and entered the national charts at position No. 14 (highest new entry of the week). The song was also on No. 2 on the singles download charts. “I was truly excited and happy to see that our music gained some good impact and that there is already a lot of music fans aware of The Murder Of My Sweet” says Angelica, “It was such a great, happy moment to hear that our debut single actually made the top 20 in the Swedish single chart – A BIG thanks to all the fans who bought our single. “We are currently planning new gigs here in Sweden and in Europe and we are soon flying to Paris, France and Cologne, Germany to do promotion for Radio, Tv and Magazines. There lots of ideas floating around but we must be smart and make the best out of the time we have right now. We are also planning to write new songs next year together with Jesper Strömblad from In Flames for our next album, that will be big fun!” concludes Angelica Rylin.

Detroit death metallers AND HELL FOLLOWED WITH have entered Dreadcore Productions in White Lake, MI to record a full length album that will be released in 2010 on EARACHE RECORDS.
AND HELL FOLLOWED WITH guitarist, Kyle McIlmurray commented on their time recording. "We started our sessions in the studio on Tuesday with our good friend, (produce) Josh Wichman at 10am sharp. Swedish power metal band DREAM EVIL has revealed a brand-new studio album entitled “In The Night.” DREAM EVIL’s “In The Night” was produced at Sweden’s Studio Fredman (Dimmu Borgir, In Flames, HammerFall, etc.), which is owned by DREAM EVIL axeman Fredrik Nordström, and will be released via Century Media Records on January 25th, 2010 in Europe and January 26th, 2010 in North America.
The artwork was created by Gustavo Sazes (Arch Enemy, Firewind, Krisiun etc.). The tracklisting for “In The Night” is as follows:

New Jersey metal band GRIMUS has parted ways with drummer John Scott. The band comments, "Unfortunately, drummer John Scott will no longer be continuing in the elegant aural journey that is Grimüs. German metal band Lanfear has issued the following update:

Virginian death metal band Cyaegha has issued the following update:
"Over the past few months we have been on somewhat of a hiatus. Within the next few weeks we are expecting certain members to be finishing up school for good, which in turn will leave us with a rather wide open schedule in early 2010 for touring and playing shows. As far as the new album is concerned, we are still busy writing material and hope to have it complete within the coming months."

Divine Ascension recently released announced their new bassist, Daniel White. Here's the update from the band:
