Austrian Death Machine has posted their latest music video, for "I Need Your Clothes, Your Boots, and Your Motorcycle" online.
Tim Lambesis comments on the video: “Arnold is proof that you can be brutal and still have fun. Metalheads can still laugh at a party right? The theme for this video can go a few different ways. I think that no matter what drastic measures Ahhnold takes, he somehow only creates more fun for all. Other people may think there is an underlying story as a Terminator love story between Ahhnold and T-One-Million. However you interpret the video is fine with me, but if you sing along loud enough Ahhnold just might show up at your house too!”
Germany's Dark Fortress has issued the following road report:
"So, the big day has come! The mess that is called Dark Fortress arrived together with everyone else in Antwerp yesterday, in various states of sickness and mental preparedness. Hof ter Lo is an awesome club, and the show went very well. It's a great honor to be a part of this apocalypse on wheels, and we're psyched to hear from the mighty Frost himself that they wanted a good package and chose us for it. Both Shining and Satyricon have been influential in the history of Dark Fortress, so to be summoning the blackness together in a union of powerful music and personalities feels fantastic. Yesterday we also played the live premiere of The Valley, which was particularly exciting since we had never (!) played it together until we went on stage. But it went well, and we know we can trust each other blindly on stage.
"Today we will support headliners Shining in Alkmaar, and we're happy to finally play in The Netherlands again, even if it's just for this one show. But we will be back in Seraph's and my home territory in February on a headlining tour. By the way, the new Merch is in and we are selling it at the shows. More info how to order it will follow soon. So see you around! Don't miss this tour, it has all the makings of becoming something to remember."
Dark Fortress still has the following upcoming tour dates: More...

"Hailz, here are two videos of De Profundis live in action at Club Suburbia in Bucharest, Romania. They were filmed on 23rd August 2009 and appear courtesy of youtube user ‘handofdiscordia’ - cheers! Whilst the sound quality isn't perfect, the videos are still pretty cool and give an idea of the power of a De Profundis live show. This was actually our first show with Arran on the bass. Hope you guys enjoy them!!
"P.S. clip 1 is most of ‘Ablaze in Autumn's Fire’, whilst clip 2 features ’Crimson Black Bleeding’ (most of it) and ‘Nocturnal Splendour’ (right at the very the end). All three tracks are off our new album ‘A Bleak Reflection’." More...

Draconian has issued the following statement about their lack of updates:
"Dear friends, we are aware things has been silent for a while, and that the possible development of the bands' progress has been kept from the limelight. There hasn't been much to tell really. Things has been standing still for a while due to different aspects and circumstances, which I guess, in after-thought, was necessary. Now, however, we are about to rise from the half-light.
"We are currently working quite diligently for Draconian to enter the second decade of this new millennium with a boost. Already, things are happening and we are doing our very best to follow up on everything we need in order for the band to stay in peoples hearts. You can expect us to ring out loud for the year to come. More to follow. Thank you for being patient and understanding."

Boston thrash metal band Ravage has issued the following year end update:
"Last night Ravage played our last live show of the year. It's been a good year for us, we signed with Metal Blade Records, finally released our album 'The End Of Tomorrow,' appeared on two tribute albums - a tribute to Warlock and also a tribute to Running Wild, and we completed our first full US tour which. Although the tour was logistically difficult, financially taxing and wrought with countless problems, it ended up being a good learning experience that ultimately allowed us to play shows and meet new friends and fans in 17 different states across the USA."
"We already have some shows planned for next year as we will be appearing at the Meliah Rage reunion show in February and we have already begun to plan a return to the southwest USA to make up some of the shows we missed and get to some areas we haven't been to before. We have been invited to play at THRASHMAGEDDON 2 FESTIVAL in Albuquerque NM in may and we hope to add some more southwest appearances as well." More...

Chad of Destroy the Runner sent in the following update:
"We are recording our 3rd studio album right now, and it is going great so far. Way heavier, screaming, breakdowns, shredding guitars, double bass...haha. The whole bit. Jordan Mancino(As I Lay Dying) will be playing all of the drums on the new record, and we are having many well known guest vocalists from today's scene.
"Also, we are releasing a B-side from our first album 'Saints,' but with my vocals on it. The B-side is entitled 'Sinners,' and we will be releasing it online this month."
Devildriver's guitarist, Jeff Kendrick, has issued the following update:
"Been home for about a week right now and loving every minute of it. Currently I am writing you from Mike's studio as we are demoing and recording songs for the next album! Things are sounding fast and heavy to say the least. In one week we will be flying to the land down under to rock with Lamb Of God, Shadows Fall and High On Fire. The tour is selling great and I cannot wait to make my fourth trip to... Australia... We are just plugging along and going at a constant pace. More touring, recording and rocking to come in the near future."

There were a few labels we wanted deal with; the only problem was none of them knew it at the time! The most thing was, that we wanted to communicate as friends in order to make some business and not to deal with corporate-office-somebody and make business at any cost." More...

"Under A New Sun" has been named as the title for the upcoming album from The Eternal, set to see the light of day in 2010. The album will be the follow up to the acclaimed "Kartika" and also the band's fourth full length album. Song titles include "Control," "Under A New Sun," "A Thousand Shades of You," "Collapse," and "Cast In Stone" to name a few.
The band entered 301 Studios in Byron Bay on December 4th. Their new studio blog will be updated daily throughout December with pictures and the latest news on the recording process.
"Under A New Sun" will be produced by Jeff Martin (The Tea Party). Jeff adds this about the album: "I proudly re-introduce The Eternal… The type of band I’ve been waiting to produce. It’s been a year now since Mark and I agreed to embark on a journey that begins this December. For The Eternal this will not be a stepping stone but a launch pad. For me, a creative working relationship that allows me to realise an artist’s vision and re-connect with past influences, all the while looking into the future…darkly. I envision an alchemical marriage, a musical landscape anchored by organic rock and roll and infested with industrial overtones. To put things lightly, you’re not playing with kids here. The Eternal are the real deal."
The album will be co-engineered by Paul Pilsneniks, who has worked with such artists as The Living End, The Mars Volta, Silverchair, Grinspoon and Alanis Morissette, and The Eternal has also enlisted acclaimed Finnish keyboard player Maria Ilmoniemi (Tarja/Husky Rescue) to contribute.

"Not to worry though, a long-legnth video will be posted as we near the end of all tracking so that you can see all of it. Let just say that Ashley of Tragic Recordings (Recorded our first E.P.) is doing a swell job capturing us and helping us out with EVERYTHING."

To read (or join) Ford’s Twitter go to: twitter.com/litaford. My only comment is that if Nikki Sixx can publish “The Heroin Diaries” then Lita should seriously consider “The Sex Diaries”.
