Assignment Streaming New Song

“The Betrayal,” a brand new song featuring Michael Bormann (Silent Force, Redrum, ex-Jaded Heart, Bonfire) & Carsten Kaiser (ex-Angel Dust) on lead vocals from German prog metallers Assignment, is now available for streaming.

Oblivion Streaming Full Album

Polish outfit Oblivion has released the full "Xenopath" album online for streaming, which can be heard below. The band also issued the following press release:

"On the 19 of December 2013 our second album entitled 'Xenopath' was released by Oblivion. The concept disc contains 11 entire tracks inspired by the contemporary American death metal scene. Xenopath is filled with numerous murderers testimonies and some sick music with creates a complete killer conception. Oblivion is currently working on its first official clip (based on the title track) and also in the process of searching for the label.”

Evocation Saying Farewell To Two Members

Evocation recently announced the recruitment of two new members, and now the band has revealed a farewell performance for the departing Janne Bodén and Vesa Kenttäkumpu. Evocation comments:

"As a small Christmas present from us to you we are very pleased to announce a farewell show for Janne & Vesa at the club X&Y in our hometown Borås, the 31st of January.

"This will be the very last chance to see the two brothers of metal perform with Evocation and also the last chance to see the original line-up from 1991.

Graven Image has checked in with the following announcement about working on an upcoming new album:

Cellador Confirmed For Seventh WOM Fest

The Warriors of Metal, Inc. has announced that the Denver, Colo., based power metal band Cellador will be the first confirmed artist for its 7th annual Warriors Of Metal Fest. The event will be held at O'Sheckys LIVE in Columbus, Ohio from Thursday, June 26 to Saturday, June 28, 2014. Band founder, guitarist and vocalist, Chris Petersen states:

"I'm fully stoked to announce our participation in next year's Warriors of Metal Festival! The band is excited to return to Ohio revitalized and energetic as ever. The fest has some great guys working behind the curtains and we're excited to see all the bands as well. Happy to take part in what is turning into a powerhouse of a festival! Cheers \m/!"
