We look forward to going out on the road with Primal Fear, who are an excellent band and terrific musicians."

No. It just means that soon, we will be label-less and have a few decisions to make about what our next move will be and what we'd like to do in regard to the future of the band." More...

Slovenia's LastDayHere has posted a video message wishing fans a happy new year, which can be viewed after the jump. The band also issued the following end-of-year recap:
"When it comes to LastDayHere, there is needless to say that we enjoyed every moment of the year 2009. In fact, we could repeat it all over ;o) If we just think back and bring out the feeling that we had while standing on the stage at the presentation of the video ‘Saved From Falling’… Wow, it was so hard to keep the video a secret – we were so proud of it and wanted to show it to the whole World! The preparation of the event was a really intense period for all of us. It meant changing our songs from the ‘From Pieces Created’ into acoustic form and adding the classical instruments. Thanks to all our friends, that accepted the invitation and joined us on the stage, that night will definitely stay in our memories even when we are old and senile.
"2009 meant a significant breakthrough for LastDayHere. It was the first time our music was played on MTV Adria. You can imagine our faces when we saw that ‘Saved From Falling’ was played on daily rotation and out of nowhere we got on the MTV Adria’s Rock Chart where we got as high as 6th place and the video stayed in the chart for full 14 weeks! We would like to thank to everyone that voted for us and got us this high. At first we thought we are dreaming, since we didn’t even have the guts to hope for something like that… But we were there, together with big names of international music scene… And that meant so much to us… More...

"Dear Friends and Fans, we would just like to say a big THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts - to those who came out to the shows, our families and friends, the promoters, club owners, our label, support bands - all those who helped us on our tour - also even if you couldn't make it to one of the shows but purchased the album, or even if you only heard a song, liked it and told a friend about us - THANK YOU. This was a great experience for all of us and we can't wait to do it again and see all of you again.
"So....what's up w/ OUTLOUD for 2010 you ask? Good question. The answer is coming soon!!!!! Meanwhile, we are working on getting an online store up where you can grab the CD, T-shirts, posters, etc., etc. More on that soon!"
Female fronted gothic metallers Pythia have issued the following end-of-year recap and information about their upcoming activity:
"Happy Christmas One and All!! Just thought we’d drop you all a line or two to sum up the year.... And what a year it’s been!! Firstly, thank you all for your support and help these last 12 months, you have all been brilliant. Without your enthusiasm and energy we wouldn’t be where we are right now. Special mentions for Mr. Livermore, lil’ Emily, Bev and Frank, George, Laura and Lorna and of course Are for going above and beyond the call of duty!
"Been fun through this year, but ultimately everything we were doing was running up to the album release, so 2010 will have a rolling start. We got plenty planned with gigs, tours, festivals, writing the new album and another single possibly, hitting you all in the first part of the year. The new merch is coming along too, so keep your eyes on the site and the forum. Y’all will be the first to know! Also, keep your eyes peeled for magazine coverage coming up, after the extremely successful day with Clive Arrowsmith, and seeing the results, I’m sure the mags will be fighting over us for an exclusive! That, bolstered with another new shoot completed with Hayley Madden (who did all our album artwork, for those who don’t know), hopefully the buzz around Pythia will just grow in the New Year.
"As I mentioned, we are booking up gigs all over until we can plan the tour to support the album. They’re going to be all over the place in the UK, so watch out for updates. Anyways, long newsletters just get boring, and I have beer to drink, a mountain of chocolate to get through and an unfortunate turkey to stuff! Hope you all have a really good day at Christmas, and see in the New Year in which ever way you see fit!!!! ROCK ON!!"

"Hey to all of the Crowbar supporters out there. I will be having a bunch of updates coming your way really soon.
"For starters, Matt Brunson (KINGDOM OF SORROW) is now the permanent guitarist in Crowbar. We, of course, all remain very good friends with Steve Gibb, but his personal training business and gym are doing great I'm happy to report, but that and his family at home simply do not give him the time to play with Crowbar any longer. We love him dearly and thank him for his dedication while he was jamming with Crowbar.
"I would also like to inform anyone that doesn't already know, the first show of the Stillborn Fest with HATEBREED has been moved from Syracuse to Electric Factory in Philly. This will take place on December 26th. Please check hatebreed.com for any more updates. There are a lot of good things going on in the Crowbar camp and I will be updating the site frequently.
