Recent Southern Lord Records signees, face-ripping instrumental power trio Loincloth, today unleash another brand new track, titled "Theme," via Cvlt Nation. Check out "Theme" at this location.
In early November BrooklynVegan premiered two tracks from the record which are still active as well; crank up "Underwear Bomb" and "Sactopus" here.

"All proceeds to go to charity; show set for April 7th, 2012 at the HMV Forum in London. Pay No More than £5.99!
"Obviously you can't charge people to come to your own birthday party, so as soon as we came up with the idea for Boltfest, we decided we should pay all the costs for the event ourselves. We also wanted to use Boltfest as an opportunity to do some good, and turn it into something more than just another show.
"So we've decided to ask everyone to donate £5.99 to charity if they want to come to the party. This way, with your help, we hope Boltfest will raise £10,000 for a good cause!
"The charity we've chosen is Teenage Cancer Trust. We're sadly among the millions whose lives have been affected by this devastating illness, and have seen first-hand the work charities like Teenage Cancer Trust do, and the difference it makes in those difficult times, so we're very happy to be able to support this deserving charity.
"Tickets are limited to 1800 and can be bought at the HMV ticket shop from Friday 16th Dec 09:00 GMT.
"There'll be no service charge, as the HMV Ticket Shop has generously waived these extra costs for this special show. This way ALL the proceeds from the event (minus obligatory 3% PRS) will go to TCT. Check this location for ticket info, news and line-up announcements."

Scottish hard rock band La Paz has re-formed since splitting in 1988 after a record deal had fallen through. The band has recorded a new album entitled "Granite." The band reunited with its original singer Doogie White, who now fronts both Cornerstone and the legendary U.K. band Tank.
The reformation happened after DJ Tom Russell of 96.3 Rock Radio called Doogie White and asked him if he would do some acoustic numbers at The Garage in Glasgow for Rock Radio's Birthday Bash in January 2008. Doogie agreed and asked La Paz guitarist Chic McSherry to play guitar. The band started to rehearse and decided it was time to create a new LP. The new incarnation is called Doogie White & La Paz.

Persona Non Grata's new album "Quantum Leap" - produced by John Ioannidis and Chris Gatsos - was recorded, mixed and mastered at the Goldmine Studios in Athens, with Marina Tzima responsible for the design and the artwork. The band's vocalist Aris has now opened up about the background of the album:
"The idea of Quantum Leap came from the following example: Some people think that a quantum leap is a particularly large leap.
"This is incorrect or better it's not completely correct. In fact, in quantum physics, where the expression came from, a quantum leap is usually a very tiny leap indeed, often smaller than the diameter of the nucleus of an atom.
"But the major characteristic that makes a leap 'quantum' is that this leap from A to B point is made without passing through any of the points between A and B.
"Imagine that you enter a bus in A-city. You sit in your seat, and the bus is instantly transported to your destination of B-city. You just made a quantum leap. The bus didn't pass through any point between A-city and B-city.
"Now, in real life you can't see a 'quantum leap' just because it really does not exist. So, why is this all related with PERSONA NON GRATA? More...
