UMe and Bicycle Music Group managed to locate the original mixes, so I went in the studio with Tom Baker and remastered it for a greatly improved sonic experience. In addition, Rob reinterpreted Gary Talpas’ original cover to make for a fresh new package.
"It’s been an interesting trip watching the fate of this record float from one set of hands to another (a long and depressing story) but it’s finally wound up in friendly territory, allowing us to polish it up a bit and present it to you now. We had fun revisiting this old friend, hope you enjoy."

Swiss metal band SAMAEL has posted the track "Antigod" at their MySpace page.
Singer Vorph comments, "Here’s the song we chose to give you a taste of our new album. Sound wise, 'Antigod' stands between the up-tempo tracks and ultra heavy ones of our new recordings. As for the lyrics, we’ve expressed our views on the religious matter before but with this track, we made our position clearer than with any previous song. 'Antigod' doesn’t resume the whole album but it gives you a good idea of what’s about to come…"

"Grapes Of Wrath" the new music video from Boston MA area traditional heavy metal/thrashers Ravage will premiere on the video game blog D-Pad D-bags this Monday November 8th at 3:00 p.m. EST. The clip was filmed back in the summer of 2009, but had to be sent back for a number of re-edits due to some controversial parodic subject matter, violent content and special effects issues.
Ravage singer Al Ravage commented, "I'm proud of what we were able to put together with this video despite a non-existent budget. I think we were able to get our message across in a very entertaining way. The song itself speaks to the personal struggles of the people of our generation as we try to wade through the turbulent waters of this rough economic and social climate. Everyone our age knows someone who has lost his or her job, been burdened by ever increasing credit card or student loan debt and dually had to deal with the fallout of two on-going foreign wars. The song basically is a wake-up call to the brain-dead media personalities and political figures who sit idly by as the world tears itself appart and try to blame music or art for the problems of today's youth. As for the video, as usual, we threw quite a bit in the blender for you all to keep it interesting - including some comedy, some gore, some parody, and a not-so subtle homage to one of our favorite Judas Priest videos. Working with Egan from LAWSON: WHITE HEAT was a blast 'in particular' and I'm sure all members of the Society For World Wide Ravage will get a kick out of this video."
The video was directed by John Koziol who last worked on the feature-length action comedy film LAWSON: WHITE HEAT and has previously worked on video projects for such diverse artists as AGNOSTIC FRONT and THE WU-TANG CLAN.
German thrash metal band DuskMachine has announced their new singer as Joe Comeau. The band has issued the following update:
"The DuskMachine is very happy to present its new frontman: Joe Comeau."
"Most people will know Joe from his amazing work as a guitar-player for OVERKILL and singer for bands such as ANNIHILATOR, TAD MOROSE and LIEGE LORD. Being friends for several years, he joined almost immediately when we contacted him. Joe has already recorded several songs and his singing is incredible. You can call him "the voice". But let the man speak for himself:"
"Dear Friends and fellow Metalheads-
As I now begin a new musical journey, it is with great honor to not only be in a band with such awesome musicians, but great friends as well! I have played on stages all over the world with Randy and Russ in a previous band and I have known them all (including Nikolai) for a number of years. Great music is not only formed by complimenting each other musically, but by working together as a unit. It is about time that the four of us banded together to create some killer tunes and memories, which I promise to you is being done at this moment! I have remained quiet for too long. The time has come. The time is now. Let us crush."
