This week a real treat with (lucky) seven new videos featuring girls with cranium accessories, vampires, F-bombs, and of course, sass.
Ten's video for their single “Gunrunning” is from their new anticipated studio album entitled 'Heresy And Creed.' I can dig the black and white and the groovy sound (dig and groovy in the same sentence – yes, I’m high right now), but not so sure about the Michael Jackson style marching jacket. Also, the awkward lean into the guitar player makes me feel weird down there…
Finland's groovy death/thrashers Re-Armed are currently recording their next album, after releasing the debut album "Worldwide Hypnotize" earlier this year and touring through Europe with Suffocation and Origin. Footage of the recording process can be viewed below, and the band comments:
"Now, it is time to open new bottle and pour a new round, but way harder booze! Album title is 'Rottendam' and it will include seven songs and few stranger introduction parts. Follow the recording sessions of this new crushing album and tell to the band if there is some weird 'spirit' tormenting them... Studio diary part I viewable at band's YouTube channel." More...

"Unfortunately I've had to decide to quit with Seven Ends because of job obligations and distance/logistical problems. It sure wasn't an easy decision to make but sad enough an inevitable one. I've had a very nice time with the band and am sure going to miss it all. Ricardo, Cor, Noud and Léon: Thanks for the good times guys and of course a big thanks to everyone that supported the band and all the people that came to our shows!"
The band commented: "We'd like to thank him for the great times we had and wish him all the best with his future (musical) plans and projects."
As of now, Seven Ends is looking for a new vocalist. If you think you're the one the group is looking for, send an e-mail to email@example.com and include links to videos or MP3s of you performing.

The set contains over seven hours of material featuring 25 music videos, 24 behind-the-scenes clips, and a 56-page booklet. Available on three DVDs or two Blu-rays, the collection will be released through the band’s marketing and distribution deal with Density Records in the US.
“Mein Herz Brennt,” from the band’s 2001 release, "Mutter," will see new versions of the song released on December 11th, 2012 as a six-track digital single with booklet - available exlusively through iTunes. International grindcore group Lock Up features Tomas Lindberg (At The Gates/Disfear), Anton Reisenegger (Pentagram, Criminal), Shane Embury (Napalm Death, Brujeria, Venomous Concept), and Nick Barker (ex-Cradle of Filth, ex-Dimmu Borgir). The band will undergo a brief European club tour in February 2013 in support of latest album "Necropolis Transparent" on Nuclear Blast Records.
The tour, tentatively named "Infiltrate And Destroy Europe 2013" will see Lock Up play a 10 date up-close-and-personal club tour which takes the band through such territories as the U.K., France, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Austria. and Belgium. Drummer Nick Barker commented:
"We're really excited and looking forward to blasting our way across Europe in Febuary 2013. Lock Up on the whole, don't really get to do club tours very often so this is a great opportunity for us do what we do, get up close and in your face with the fans, in a more intimate setting as opposed to playing the bigger open air festival stages we're accustomed to. Don't get me wrong we love playing the big festivals, but with the brutal and savage nature of our music, its very well suited in a club environment and we feel both the band and fans vibe on that a lot more."

"Just returned from Leeds where we nuked the ingenious Damnation Festival. England is always a pleasure to shred. This time was no exception: what a brutal crowd it was...
"I already tracked the four rhythm guitars at Mana Studios in Florida. This album is gonna be brutal, way more Death Metal blasphemy than the last records. The nine sound collages will reveal a new dimension of chaos, with the uttermost aggressive soundwall possible.

Powerwolf has issued the following update with regards to the band's upcoming new studio effort:
"It's been mysteriously silent in the wolves' camp during the last few months. The reason for that is the best possible one: We have been more than busy writing the follow up album to 'Blood of the Saints.'
"And after five intense months of blood, sweat and... even more blood, we can proudly tell you that most of the songwriting is done and there's a truly monstrous piece of wolfish metal insanity on the way.
"There will be fast stuff, heavy stuff and epic stuff as well as some unholy little surprises - and all of that in the most typical, powerwolfish way you can imagine. Only 6 weeks to go until we enter the studio - can't wait to bring these songs to life.
"Be prepared for some kind of studio diary whenever we find a minute in between the studio work."
Further details on the follow-up to 2011's "Blood of the Saints" (reviewed here) will be announced as they are made available.

"He recovered in a very short amount of time and all the support from all of you is why we think the recovery was so speedy. We have begun to get him back on drums and we are officially announcing our first show back as a full band. February 9th 2013 at Red House Studios in Walnut Creek, CA. As of now the bands playing with us will be Dennis is Dead, As Artifacts, and A Holy Ghost Revival.
"This show is for all of you who truly believed in Chris's recovery. We are looking to move forward just as strong as before and within the month of December you will continue to hear some upcoming things from us that we are extremely excited to reveal.
"This Thanksgiving we are thankful for our lives and our fans who have stood by us in the worst of times. We are thankful for all the bands who have helped us with pushing through as well as putting together benefit shows for us. We wouldn't be where we are now without everyone. So we hope to see as many of you as possible at our show FEBRUARY 9TH AT RED HOUSE STUDIOS!"
