Apoch's Metal Review has posted an exclusive world premiere of the song "Necromantic Sorcery" from "Never Ending Nightmares," the forthcoming debut album from Humanity Delete. The track, which is posted at this location, delivers more than enough violence to hold fans over until the album's December 4th release on Dead Beat Media. (Scroll a fourth of the way down the page to get to the widget).
Extreme metal's most prolific artist Rogga Johansson (Paganizer, Ribspreader, Revolting, Demiurg, Bone Gnawer, etc) has resurrected Humanity Delete, the project he formed in 2003, giving rise to this debut album "Never Ending Nightmares." The cover and inner artwork was done by Adam Geyer as well as Ironworx Gravefix and Dzul Skam. "Never Ending Nightmares" was recorded by Rogga Johansson and mixed/mastered by Ronnie Björnström.
Los Angeles based act Polarization has issued the following announcement about parting ways with the band's drummer:
"We regret to inform you all that after years of hard work, touring, writing, recording and being an amazing friend, our drummer Tom Asvold has been forced to return to his homeland of Skärvången, Jämtlands Län, Sweden.
"This WILL NOT affect any of our shows/tour plans we have coming this winter/next year as we have been aware of this situation for quite some time now, and have found an amazing 'fill in' for Tom, who we can’t wait for you all to meet. More info on that later.

Montreal technical death metal shredders Derelict have made their song "Yours To Surpass" available for free download via Bandcamp, and the track can be heard in the player below. The song is featured on the band's new album, "Perpetuation" (reviewed here), released earlier this year.
"'Yours To Surpass' is about personal strength and determination," explains Derelict vocalist Eric Burnet. "Metal is typically very angry music, but we got a little tired of letting our negative emotions feed themselves, and so this song seeks to turn anger into personal power. You're only helpless if you let yourself be."
The song was also the focus of a recent feature via antiMUSIC network, in which Derelict explains the story behind the music and lyrics in more detail. Read it right here. A live video of "Yours To Surpass" from the Perpetuation album launch show in Montreal recently came online, which can also be viewed below. More...

The self-titled debut from Chicago's Doomsday is available for public consumption now via the band’s newly founded Disorder Recordings. Cvlt Nation is also now hosting a stream of the entire short but pungent anti-human release at this location.
Doomsday recently undertook a week-and-a-half-long live trek through the Midwest and Northeast sectors of the country forecasting the end with malicious riffs alongside Krieg and Wolvhammer. Check out live footage below. The following press release was also issued about the band:
"Chicago-based Doomsday unites guitarist Jeff Wilson (Chrome Waves, Wolvhammer, ex-Nachtmystium), guitarist/vocalist Jon Necromancer (Bones, ex-Usurper, ex-Nachtmystium), drummer Zack Simmons (Goatwhore, ex-Nachtmystium), vocalist Zion Meagher (Anti-Human Thesis, ex-Forest Of Impaled, ex-Nachtmystium) and bassist Bob Fouts (The Gates of Slumber, Chrome Waves, Apostle Of Solitude). A twenty-one minute assault, their self-titled debut was engineered by Sanford Parker (Nachtmystium, Twilight, Circle of Animals) and Carl Byers (Coffinworm), and melds the members’ cruel musical insight resulting in a depressingly grim crust-influenced blackened musical holocaust as invigorating as it is intimidating." Today Kuolemanlaakso is streaming the entirety of the band's forthcoming "Uljas uusi maailma" album, set for international release on November 23rd through Svart Records. The stream comes courtesy of Finnish website Inferno, and can be found right here.
Kuolemanlaakso features members of Chaosweaver, Swallow the Sun, and Barren Earth. An English translation of the Finnish text for the included track-by-track commentary is as follows:
1. "Minä elän" - This is where it all began in the Spring of 2010. "Minä elän" is the first song I wrote for Kuolemanlaakso. The song starts out mellow but ominous, and it ends in an ultra-brutal guitar guitar rampage, which was obviously a concious dramaturgic decicion. V. Santura (Triptykon, Dark Fortress, ex- Celtic Frost) - who co-produced, mixed, mastered, and engineered the album - sent me an email while mixing the album saying that the opening riff is the best riff he's heard in years, and he keeps hearing it in his head everywhere: while cooking, while driving, while doing dishes...everywhere. The vocal timing of the chorus has influences from French hip-hop.
2. "Kuun lapset" - This is sort of my own interpretation of Eino Leino's poem by the same name. When I was demoing the song, I tried out the vocals with that very poem. Because some of the lyrics fit rhythmically and thematically very well with the music, I decided to leave severel lines of Leino's original poem in the lyrics. The chorus of this song is probably my favorite from the album. It is dark, rugged, majestetic, and beautiful at the same time. I wrote the outro originally for Chaosweaver, but it fit this song better than anything else. The middle part of the track also features a guest spoken-word performance by my two-year-old son.
3. "Nostos & Algos" - The intro melody is possibly the closest thing this band has or will be to Amorphis. Usva (bass) modified it from the melody of the last chorus. This track is more or less a live-spirited jamming session without showing off technically. The lyrics deal with yearning for the past and the pain of losing the battle against time. More...

Sweden's Sister Sin has made the following announcement:
"We´re coming to you with some bad news today....
"Liv has had issues with her voice starting way back in 2007-2008, and it turned out to be a node on her vocal cords. To avoid surgery, she has been very strict with warmups, vocal exercises and whatnot, but nevertheless, things have taken a turn for the worst lately. After revisiting her doctor last week, it became apparent that surgery is now needed and unavoidable.
"So it is with great regret we are forced to cancel the announced shows and planned dates for the rest of the year. This is very common amongst singers and expected recovery is only two months, so we will be back stronger than ever in early 2013 and for the upcoming U.S. tour in February.

French act Necrowretch, which signed to Century Media early this year, is proud to announce the recording and mastering of the band's debut album has been finished. This first album was recorded in late August at Blackout Multimedia studios in Brussels by Phorgath of Enthroned and is entitled "Putrid Death Sorcery."
Necrowretch's guitarist / vocalist Vlad comments: "We are extremely pleased with the way the recordings took place in Brussels as Phorgath of Enthroned put all his energy in this album and did everything possible to make those days in the studio a stainless experience. A first album is always a turning point in the life of a band and we were willing to push everything one step further while remaining faithful to our influences such as Merciless and Grotesque. We also wanted this album to be more personal and more varied than everything we have done in the past. All in all I think the mission is accomplished! We are now looking forward to puke on the face of the earth what Necrowretch has to offer on a full length album through songs such as Ripping Souls Of Sinners, Putrid Death Sorcery or Spewed From Hell. Our friend Milovan Novakovic from Montenegro is now working on the cover artwork and some shirts design that will symbolize our Putrid Death Metal!"
Jerry Maréchal, A&R at Century Media Europe comments: "Witnessing the band in the studio was a truly impressive experience to say the least! It was like seeing a beast come to life and I can't wait to see the face of people when this beast will cross their paths!"

My Dying Bride recently revealed that it will be issuing an EP entitled "The Manuscript" early next year. This is what vocalist Aaron Stainthorpe had to say in a Metal Forces interview about the four-track endeavor that will come out possibly as early as April of 2013:
(The songs are) very similar to 'A Map Of All Our Failures' because they were written and recorded at the same time, except for one song.” It’s full on sort of epic death metal; it’s swords and axes, a proper warrior battle kind of track that’s almost medieval in flavour. You can almost picture the scene; it’s set in a snowy kind of mountainous landscape. There are sound effects and all sorts of mayhem going on in it, and death metal vocals not quite all the way through it, but near enough. It even has a Swedish title which because my Swedish isn’t great, I’m not gonna repeat here. I need to get the pronunciation right before I do that.
We’re probably gonna do a video for the title track which is currently called ‘The Manuscript’. It’s going to be done by Charlie Granberg who did the ‘Bring Me Victory’ video, but prior to that Charlie and My Dying Bride are working on a video for ‘The Poorest Waltz,' the second song on the album. There’s gonna be a video for that as well that will be a shot towards the middle of October. So yeah, a couple of videos from My Dying Bride are coming soon as well.
The Manuscript’s tracks will be similar in length to those included on 'A Map Of All Our Failures.' When we had 13 songs on the computer we were looking at three to four of them, and they were 7:47 which was a bit of a coincidence. We don’t know how or why that happened, but that was the case. There are probably a couple on the EP which are 7:47 as well. A song’s over when it’s over, and the evidence of that is 'The Barghest O’ Whitby.' We don’t try to aim for a three-and-a-half minute track to get a bit of radio airplay – that will never happen from My Dying Bride. If a song happens to be over in three-and-a-half minutes, that’s fine. That was just how it should be, but we never purposely try to write a song with any specific length. We all contribute and when we’re all happy that the song’s over – whether it’s three minutes or 30 minutes – it’s as simple as that.
