Enslaved Posts New Music Video Online

There is ample reason to celebrate: Enslaved have once again joined forces with Nuclear Blast, to spread the music of the Norwegian avant-garde metallers all around the globe. With that, band and label renew a collaboration that has been ongoing for around ten years and two years ago produced the universally lauded album E.

Band founding member and guitarist Ivar Bjornson stated about the re-signing:
"It is with great pleasure we re-sign our record deal with Nuclear Blast worldwide! We have been working together for more or less a decade, and it has been an individed positive experience. They have both the heart to grasp our musical visions, and the business-muscles to spread them out into the world. When you add personal friendships with the wonderful people in America, U.K. and Germany it is simply an ideal situation for us to be in. Onwards, forwards and in all directions!"

To mark the occasion, Enslaved present a stunning new music video filled with atmospheric imaginery for their interpretation of "What Else Is There" by Norwegian electropop band Royskopp. The song is featured as a bonus track on the digipack CD and digital version of their latest album, "E." The Raven Age Posts New Music Video Online

The Raven Age have released a video for "The Face That Launched A Thousand Ships", a track from the band's "Conspiracy" album. The song showcases the softer side of the English melodic metal band - highlighting the vocal quality of Matt James.

"We shot this video whilst on tour in the United States, in the desert just outside Las Vegas,” shares guitarist George Harris on the new video, which was filmed during the Legacy Of the Beast Tour with Iron Maiden earlier this year. “We thought it would help paint the picture of the story of Helen of Troy which is what the song’s written about." Seven Spires Posts New Single Online

Seven Spires is an American metal quartet who draw influence from across the metal spectrum and beyond to tell their tales of demons, death, love and the peculiarities of the human condition.
"Emerald Seas" is their second album and is a highly emotional, dark and theatrical epic. Released via Frontiers, the band have joined the label’s rapidly expanding metal roster.

For the first single from the record, vocalist Adrienne Cowan states: “‘Succumb’ was written in Boston while we were attending college at Berklee. It began as vocals and piano, and we fleshed out the rest of the arrangement together. Everyone has their own experiences and will interpret the lyrics in their own way, but in the story of 'Emerald Seas’ the main character has departed on a long journey and is indulging in memories of someone special instead of focusing on their quest. It's a bittersweet one... but aren't they all?”

As hinted above, "Emerald Seas" itself is a theatrical concept work and is the prequel to the story of the band's debut full-length release, "Solveig." It follows a lone sea captain on his quest for eternal life while being hunted by an ancient beast and struggling with loneliness, sacrifice, alcoholism and the unexpected weight that comes with achieving one’s goals. Seven Spires’ signature blend of melancholic beauty and emotional brutality on ‘Emerald Seas’ is the sonic manifestation of the silent emptiness that can chill the insides when staring across bleak, open waters.
