Former Faith No More Vocalist Passes Away

Former Faith No More singer Chuck Mosley has passed away at the age of fifty seven, a post from his family has confirmed. The vocalist fronted Faith No More prior to them recruiting current singer Mike Patton and could be heard on such staples as "We Care A Lot." He also spent a short time as the frontman of hardcore legends Bad Brains. The message from his family reads thusly:

"After a long period of sobriety, Charles Henry Mosley III lost his life, on November 9th, 2017, due to the disease of addiction. We’re sharing the manner in which he passed, in the hopes that it might serve as a warning or wake up call or beacon to anyone else struggling to fight for sobriety. He is survived by long-term partner Pip Logan, two daughters, Erica and Sophie and his grandson Wolfgang Logan Mosley. The family will be accepting donations for funeral expenses. Exhumed Added To 70000 Tons Of Metal

American death metal favourites Exhumed has been announced as the latest band to be announced for the original heavy metal cruise, 70000 Tons Of Metal. This addition takes the list of confirmed bands to 44, with 16 more bands still to be announced. The cruise will set sail from Port Lauderdale, Florida on February 1st and head to the Grand Turk and Caicos Islands and back in a trek that will last until February 5th.

Corrosion Of Conformity Reveals New Album Details

American heavy metal veterans Corrosion Of Conformity has announced that they will be releasing a new studio album, "No Cross No Crown" on January 12th next year through Nuclear Blast Records. This will mark their first album with frontman Pepper Keenan since the 2005 release, "In the Arms of God" and will contain no less than fifteen tracks, the first of which, "Cast The First Stone" can be heard below and will be available as a free download when the album is pre-ordered.

Guns N Roses Announces European Tour Dates

Guns N Roses has announced that they will be bringing their "Not in this lifetime" tour to Europe next year, where they will be headlining several major festivals, as well as some stadium shows. It is not yet known if more dates will be added, but the current schedule reads as follows:

Greytomb Premiere New Song "Null"

Australian atmospheric black metal act Greytomb premiered the second track of their upcoming EP "Monumental Microcosm", which will be released as a gold-embossed box set and digipak CD on December 19th via Transcending Obscurity Records. They share a member of Somnium Nox and Norse and the music is just as dark and emotive as you would expect. They've had this to say about it:

"The winding structure pulls you deeper into an inward place, the cold and dark tone clinging to you like a familiar gloom. The narrative elements compel exploration, and each new listen will reward inquisitive ears."

Vecordious Reveal New Album's Details

Norway's extreme metal band, Vecordious, have announced the release of their full-length album 'Anthropogenic Deterioration' on December 1st, 2017. The album was mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö (Katatonia, Edge of Sanity, Karaboudjan, Pain). A teaser video can be viewed below.

The cover artwork for 'Anthropogenic Deterioration' was made by Chris Cold and the album layout by Tröllpeis.
