Pile Of Priests Posts Lyric Video For New Single

Currently working on completing the new EP entitled "Tenebrous Labyrinth" to follow the 2015 debut album "Void To Enlightenment," Denver, CO progressive death metal trio Pile Of Priests have a new lyric video for the stand alone single entitled "Redemptionem Per Cruciatu" which premiered exclusively on NoCleanSinging.com at this location, or just down in the player below.

Translated from Latin, "Redemptionem Per Cruciatu" means “Redemption Through Torture" as the band explains: “The song is about the centuries of child molestation within the Catholic Church, and in particular one Wisconsin priest who sexually molested over 200 deaf children between 1950 and 1974. He was never punished by the Vatican hierarchy or by the criminal justice system of the United States. The song musically starts out with an eerie bass intro to portray the sadness and trauma of all the affected victims. It then progresses into a fast-paced melodic ride of pure anger that is sure to rile up the listener.”

Following the release of this new single, the band's forthcoming EP "Tenebrous Labyrinth" will consist of three original songs and three covers.

Drummer Evan Knight adds: "We are very proud of our new single ‘Redemption Per Cruciatu’ and upcoming EP that we plan to follow. Our sound has evolved on every release and we have agreed that this EP to come is the pinnacle of our sound thus far. It’s fast, evil, melodic and incorporates other styles of metal besides death metal."

Liv Sin Premeires New Single "King Of The Damned"

Liv Sin - former vocalist and driving force of Sister Sin - has teamed up with Metal Underground.com for the premiere of the new single "King Of The Damned." This brand new track is in cooperation with the Swedish Animal Rights organization "Djurens Rätt" an calls attention to the plight of the world's widlife.

"For me, this song is a call to action to everyone that we as humans will soon extinguish all of the wildlife," Liv says. "And we need to take action immediately otherwise there will be nothing left. Liv got the inspiration for the lyrics to "King of the Damned" from the exhibition "Inherit the Dust", a photo exhibition by Nick Brandt who revisited places he used to take pictures of the wildlife that now show how these landscapes has turned into wastelands filled with piles of garbage. "For me, both of those events are extremely depressing and not very flattering for mankind. Unfortunately that's the way we are heading if we do nothing. Remember 'Lion King'? Well, soon there is not going to be any 'King of the Jungle' left, they will be 'King of the Damned' instead."

She continues, "I wish that everyone would take a minute to just think about it, about how we are treating our world. We chose to cooperate with a Swedish animal rights organization called Djurens rätt on this song. All of the profits of this song from our Bandcamp site will go to them. There will also be a way to donate through PayPal."

Today, former Mutiilation founder Meyhnach reveals details of the highly anticipated solo debut, "Non Omnis Moriar," which is set for international release on November 24th via Osmose Productions. Hear the first single "In My Nightmares Circus" in the player below.

Meyhnach is the selfsame new project of the former leader and frontman of France's legendary Mutiilation, and his first creation under his own name is entitled "Non Omnis Moriar." After years of practicing raw black metal with his one-man project Mutiilation, later with the gang of Hell Militia, and after a long absence from the scene, Meyhnach decided to explore some new musical horizons.

One can recognize Meyhnach's specific identity and primal musical influences but freed from the chains of black metal clichés. His new album is more experimental and will send you on a trip into his own suffocating world, so keep in mind that it's not Mutiilation's seventh album - far from that...

Narcotic Wasteland Posts Playthrough Clip

Extreme metal four-piece Narcotic Wasteland - the full-time project of former Nile frontman Dallas Toler-Wade - will release a brand new full-length album, entitled "Delirium Tremens," on October 13, 2017 via Megaforce Records/MRI. The album is now available for pre-orders via Amazon, with more options coming soon.

A few weeks ago, Narcotic Wasteland surprised fans with a brand new track, "Faces of Meth," to great acclaim. Today, you can watch a guitar playthrough of the track, courtesy of Dallas Toler-Wade, via Guitar World at this location, or simply clicking in the player at the bottom.

Dallas says, "When writing this song, I was tapping into some of the musical ideas I had in the early 90s. I have always loved the toxic tri-tone sound. So, years ago I figured out a way to play them using my index and middle, then kind of hammering on the next strings over with my middle and pinky. This is all over the two albums in one form or another, and it is something I have quite enjoyed experimenting with over the years."

"Delirium Tremens" shines a spotlight on negative human behavior, inspired by - but not entirely based on - our country's addiction epidemic. Narcotic Wasteland named the new album after the title track, which is about delirium tremens, the medical term for symptoms an alcoholic suffers after about three days without a drink. Over the years, many of Toler-Wade's friends and family have fallen into the abyss of addiction, and some have never returned. of remaining silent about the scourge that has surrounded him, the band addresses it throughout "Delirium Tremens." HammerFall To Release Anniversary Edition Of Debut

Sweden's HammerFall will release the 20th Anniversary Edition of the celebrated debut record "Glory To The Brave" on December 1st. The release is chock full of bonus material.

When HammerFall released the debut album "Glory To The Brave" 20 years ago, the five Swedes launched a true heavy metal revival overnight. While the mainstream still concentrated on grunge and the metal scene was dominated by black metal and gothic acts, this traditional metal record was like a godsend and heralded a new era. "For us, the immense success was a real shock in the beginning," singer Joacim Cans remembers, because suddenly, HammerFall was considered to be the saviours of true metal. They received countless rave reviews from magazines, Wacken Open Air booked the band for a prime time slot on the main stage, Kai Hansen invited the band personally to join as support on the Gamma Ray tour and the CD entered the German album charts at the amazing position of #38 – an unbelievable achievement during this time. "Our advantage was that no one has expected us and our album. We only did what we wanted and felt compelled to do."

This passion was not least influenced by German metal acts like Accept, Helloween and Stormwitch, but also by other underdogs like Warlord or Picture. "I'm still very proud of this album, it has turned our lives upside down" the vocalist sums up, and is equally proud of the extensive re-release of the cult album, which will be released on December 1st via Nuclear Blast. The re-release includes the completely re-mastered version of "Glory To The Brave," a radio edit of the legendary title track as well as the great cover version of the Stormwich classic "Ravenlord." The bonus CD will include six live versions of "The Metal Age," "Steel Meets Steel," "Stone Cold," "Glory To The Brave," "Hammerfall" and "The Dragon Lies Bleeding," as well as a medley from numerous tracks off of their first-class debut album, which was recorded live this year at a show in Berlin. Necromante Streams New Album In Full

Today, Brazilian black metal cult Necromante streams the entirety of the highly anticipated debut album "The Magickal Presence of Occult Forces" over at Necromance at this location, or just simply check it out in the player at the bottom. The band drops the album internationally today (October 6th) via Iron Bonehead Productions.

Formed in 2007, Necromante has patiently stirred its cauldron of sound over the course of a couple demos, a mini-album, and a live album. Hailing from Brazil, within that cauldron, of course, can be found ancient ingredients like Sarcofago, Vulcano, Sextrash, Mystifier, and Impurity, but the power-trio finesse forth a sound that's less focused on tempting the corners of chaos as it is conjuring an arcane, otherworldly aura - in that sense, not dissimilar to Impurity's classic "Into the Ritual Chamber." However, on evidence of :The Magickal Presence of Occult Forces," Necromante is truly a unique entity unto itself, and masterfully so.

Wojczech Teams Up With Krupskaya For Split Album

German grind unit Wojczech will release three pulverizing and varied tracks for an ambitious split with U.K. band Krupskaya. The release drops on October 27th via German label 7 Degrees Records.

Wojczech adds more flavor to the proceedings and remains unpredictable for the most part without compromising on the sonic impact. Sounding like a contemporary blend of early Brutal Truth, Nasum, Dephosphorus and even Pig Destroyer, the band covers many sub-styles and it all falls in place beautifully. Here's grindcore that's not monotonous, but just as exciting.

Krupskaya from U.K. tear the place down after a pensive build-up, and they're astonishingly fast. Reminiscent of Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Exit-13 and Yacopsae, the music will give you a head rush. Interspersed by atmospheric passages, their wild blasting feels even more intense and is bound to leave you scampering for cover. Crazed-up, hyperspeed grindcore is the order of the day and Krupskaya are one of the finest bands at present at that.

The track listing for the split LP is:

1. Wojczech - Burning Solids
2. Wojczech - Sickening Discretion
3. Wojczech - Stunde Des Wolfes
4. Krupskaya - Frozen Bodies Against The Wire
5. Krupskaya - A Dawn Of Shattered Silence
6. Krupskaya - Theosophical Separation Of Earth
7. Krupskaya - Skin Of The Cruciform To Ash More...

Magick Touch Announces New Album, Releases Single

Today, Norwegian hard rockers Magick Touch reveal the video for the new single "Under the Gun." Check it out in the player below. The track is the first glimpse of the band's highly anticipated second album "Blades, Chains, Whips & Fire," which shall see international release early next year via Edged Circle Productions.

Magick Touch is a power trio - with the emphasis on POWER - from the southwestern coastal town of Bergen, Norway. The band - HK Rein on guitar and vocals, Bård Nordvik on drums, and Christer Ottesen on bass and vocals - formed in 2014 and released the debut album "Electrick Sorcery" through Edged Circle in 2015. The album went on to reap worldwide acclaim for its simple-yet-profound pleasures.

As the trio encompasses at least two singers and three songwriters, Magick Touch is almost like getting several bands for the price of one. Even more so than the celebrated debut, "Blades, Chains, Whips & Fire" plays this out with absolute (and absolutely addicting) aplomb. The vocals are characterful indeed, blending into slick harmonies on infectious choruses whilst Rein’s wah-drenched solos are splendidly delivered. Once again, this is that rich 'n' rewarding middle point between hard rock and heavy metal, and Magick Touch finesse it with a truly magickal touch.

In these times where trends seem to come and go on an almost monthly basis, sometimes it’s never more satisfying than to simply sit back and rock out. And that’s what Magick Touch make you do. Bow before "Blades, Chains, Whips & Fire" and salute the eternal glory of the riff!

Release date, cover art, and tracklisting for Magick Touch's "Blades, Chains, Whips & Fire" will be announced shortly. For now, get "Under the Gun" here: More...

Isenordal Streams Acoustic EP "Lughnasadh MMXVII"

Seattle dark funeral doom/neofolk collective Isendoral recently issued a limited-edition demo entitled "Lughnasadh MMXVII." Consisting of two consuming tracks, "Lughnasadh MMXVII" is a lamenting, all-acoustic offering that finds the band at their most poignant. Today, the band is streaming the release in full, which you can enjoy in the player below.

" Isendoral's acoustic music explores sonic and emotional terrain similarly intense to that of the metal ensemble, but re-examined through a different lens," issues the band of their latest offering. "Here we find the tradition and instrumentation of folk combined with the darkness of black and doom metal, structured and performed with the precision of chamber music. Isendoral will continue to write, play, and tour their more familiar metal music, but is excited to have the chance to begin to do the same with their folk music as well. To release both metal and folk recordings allows the band to further explore the raw, vulnerable territory in which we are interested."

"Lughnasadh MMXVII," named for the Gaelic festival marking the beginning of the harvest, is a sample of the music that this stripped-down, acoustic version of the band debuted earlier this year at Thirst For Light IV in southern Washington. Isendoral will be releasing a full length acoustic offering soon, and sharing much more music -- both folk and metal -- in the future.

In the meantime, lose yourself in the mournful sounds of "Lughnasadh MMXVII" here: More...

Overoth Releases The "God Of Delusion"

Late last month Irish death dealers Overoth released the second full length album "The Forgotten Tome" via Hostile Media. Today, the band released the video clip for the song "God of Delusion," which comes via Overdrive at this location, or simply in the player at the bottom.

Filmed by Adam Edgerley and edited by Chris Bevan, "God Of Delusion" was filmed in a dying wood in County Down, Northern Ireland. “It was a real nightmare of a location to get to,” states the band. “The wood itself was quite dense, so there was no chance we’d get our vehicles close to the location we had scouted, so with nothing but manpower we had to lug all our gear, generators, lights, camera gear, up and over hills, over streams and dead tress… they were everywhere… and it was a little sketchy at times, because we were surrounded by these massive trees, that with not much force would and were falling over. Needless to say, we all got out alive.”

Blackwater To Release Debut Full Length Album

German brutal death/black metal act Blackwater delivers a punishing salvo of multi-disciplinary blasting death metal on the debut release "Weltgeist Corrupted." The debut full length album drops on November 10th via Wooaaargh Records (preorder here).

Fusing sounds from grindcore, slam and black metal into a clean contemporary death metal sound, crossing between the hyper blasting, gutteral voiced tones of Cattle Decapitation and the epic, lingering chord progressions of bands like Dark Funeral - this describes what you should expect from Blackwater.

The band wears the air of a seasoned veteran here, with extremely competent and confident performances in both the instrumentals and vocals. The drums are supremely intense throughout the record, with constant ear-ripping blastbeats and furious double bass underpinning the whirring guitars and the classic, metallic clank of the bass. None of the nine tracks have any time to waste, as in another nod to their grind influence only one track exceeds the three minute mark. These are condensed prime cuts of meaty brutal death metal, all fat and repitition trimmed away, leaving a core of prime, bleeding aural destruction.

The art on this release was provided by the inimitable Dylan Garrett Smith, providing his usual high quality monochrome ink work, the stark and direct nature of which reflects perfectly Blackwater's musical intent. This band seem sure to go from strength to strength on the back of this release, look for them in Europe in the coming year!

The track listing is:

1. Incentives For Cruelty
2. Weltgeist Corrupted
3. Pack
4. Northern Discomfort
5. Conspiracy Terrorist
6. Illusion
7. Of Behemoth And Leviathan
8. Free From Sin
9. Clonal Expansion More...
