Connecticut metal act The Curse Of Her Flesh is streaming the title track to the band's debut full length LP entitled "Endings." The album is scheduled for an October 13, 2012 release date through Ear1 Productions.

In a match that appears to have been a long time coming, skate shoe company Vans and Metallica have announced a creative partnership delivering shoe projects. The following press release was issued:
"Many a skate trick is landed with Vans shoes on the feet and a Metallica tune in one's head, so the inevitable union kicks off in October with a limited edition Vans x Metallica 20th Anniversary Half Cab Pro available in better skate shops everywhere. The collaboration will continue late this winter with two product drops: a four-piece 'Passion Project' collection designed by each member of Metallica coming in February and a two-shoe salute to the band's debut album, Kill 'Em All, delivering in March.
"As a thank you to the fans that have made Metallica one of the most successful acts of the past 30 years, the unique 'Passion Project' collection will launch exclusively to Met Club members in January prior to being made available to the general public.
"In early October, skate shops around the world will receive the latest release in the year-long celebration marking 20 years of the most popular skate shoe of all-time, Steve Caballero's signature Half Cab. Eden's Curse has officially confirmed the departure of vocalist Marco Sandron. The band comments:
“It is with great regret that Eden’s Curse announce a parting of the ways with vocalist Marco Sandron. This is due to various reasons, but it was mutually agreed that it would be in the best interests of the band to sever all ties.
"We believe Marco to be a great vocalist and person, but it just did not work out, and we sincerely wish him the greatest of success with his future musical endeavours. While the creative core members continue with writing the fourth album, we have also commenced a worldwide search for a new vocalist." More...

Utah thrashers Deathead have teamed up with Manchester, England based punk rockers Eye Licker to issue a split EP. Slated for an early January release, the split will feature three tracks from each band.
Deathead frontman/guitarist Jester commented: "We have always tried to keep a punk spirit in our own music, at least in our attitude and I've been friends with these guys forever and its gonna be absolute chaos in a good way that I think fans of both will love."
Says Eye Licker: "We've been good friends with Deathead for years and this seems like the right and natural thing to do. Track listings are likely to be 'The Rapistm, 'Cosmetic Con,' and new song 'The Other Commandment,' though this is subject to a change as it invariably does."

Victor Arduini, guitarist and founding member of Fates Warning is currently recording for his band's upcoming 2nd CD.
Freedoms Reign features not only Victor Arduini (Vocals / Guitars), but also Tom Vumback (Guitars), Mike Jones (Bass), and Chris Judge (Drums), who are currently recording with Nick Belmore (Toxic Holocaust) and eyeing an early 2013 release for the new album.

The New York tech metal exhibitionists in Car Bomb are pleased to unveil their first full-length offering in five years, entitled "w^w^^w^w" (apparently pronounced “double-u click double-u”).
The self-released, 12-track long player was recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by the band between 2011 and 2012 at its own studios in Long Island and Brooklyn, and features guest vocalist Joseph Duplantier of Gojira on the track “Third Revelation.” The album is available for streaming at bandcamp or in the player below.
Comments the band in a collective statement: “We’re beyond excited to once and for all complete and release this thing. Every aspect of this recording -- writing, recording, mixing, mastering, artwork, you name it -- was done 100% by the band. It took as much time as most people spend going to college, but we think it was worth the wait.”

After debut album "This Dream is Dead," Israeli band Fatum Aeternum has releases a new EP titled "The Sermon." Check out the full release through the bandcamp player below. Fatum Aeternum also commented:
"The EP is characterized by new sound, but same ideas. The EP was recorded in England, in order to achieve the special 'British' sound, going back to the roots of both rock and first goth bands. The 6 tracks of the album present ideas about the modern world, the civilized way of life. These ideas combined and presented through theatrical, both male and female vocals, and the blazing sound of a violin."

Four years after "Manufactured Landscape," the French musical alchemists in Asidefromaday have make their return with a brand new album titled "Chasing Shadows." The release is now available via bandcamp and can be heard in the player below. The following press release was also issued:
"5 black shadows delivering dark and dynamic modern heavy music since 2000. Transporting the listener to some landscapes, various but invariably grazed. There is one constant thing, the weather: grey and threatening. With a sound firmly rooted in postcore/post-metal/sludge, ASIDEFROMADAY relies just as heavily on ambience, atmosphere, and power as it does dark complexity, brutal aggression and raw emotion. Portland retro metal trio Axxicorn has unleashed a couple of songs as a two-song release over on bandcamp. The two tracks, "Cosmonauts" and "Marauders," are streaming below in the player. Axxicorn will put these two songs and a few other tracks that appeared on its previous release, "War of the Giants," on its next album.
Axxicorn started out in 2009 when a couple of the members met at a Jesus Lizard show and decided they shared a love of classic metal and hardcore. When a third member joined, the band played its first gig at the Water Heater in Portland the following year.
