Maryland Doom Fest 2018 Lineup Announced

The lineup for next year's Maryland Doom Fest has been revealed. The annual festival, now in its fourth year, takes place at Cafe 611 in Frederick, MD (611 N Market St) on June 22-24, 2018.

Godflesh Reveals New Album Details

British industrial metal legends Godflesh has revealed that their forthcoming new album, "Post Self," will be released on November 17th of this year. The album will be their first since 2014's "comeback" album, "A World Lit Only By Fire" and is due to be released through Avalanche Records. "Post Self" will be available as a CD, digital download, vinyl (including a limited run of 1000 white copies) and audio cassette. A Japanese special edition will also feature three bonus tracks. The title track has also been posted online and can be heard and bought at the group's bandcamp page. The album artwork has also been posted online and can be seen below.

Monument Of Misanthropy: Exclusive Track Premiere

Monument Of Misanthropy's new EP titled "Capital Punisher" officially hits stores on CD today, October 31, 2017 and will be released digitally via all major digital-retailers on December 5th, 2017 (Krampus Night). Physical orders and exclusive bundles for "Capital Punisher" are available via BigCartel HERE.

Like on the Austrian/French brutal death metal maniacs' critically acclaimed pre-decessor and full-length debut "Anger Mismanagement", French drum-wizard Romain Goulon (Necrophagist, ex-Benighted) is providing studio-drums. Except on band's cover version of The Faceless' track "Prison Born", for which David Diepold (ex-Benighted) delivered his amazing session work.

Today Monument Of Misanthropy has dropped a sinister and erratic new track from the brand new outing, titled "At Death's Door", which can be streamed via YouTube below.

Hollow World Signs With Truth Inc Records

Truth Inc Records are very excited to announce the signing of rising melo-death outfit Hollow World. The five-piece hails from Melbourne and has taken the Australian heavy scene by storm in 2017 with the release of its debut album "Exanimate" as well as gracing stages around the country with some of the best bands Australia, and the world, has to offer.

After playing coveted festivals such as the inaugural Thrash, Blast and Grind Festival in Melbourne, Blacken Open Air in Alice Springs and the Dead of Winter festival in Brisbane and supporting the likes of Fleshgod Apocalypse and Fallujah, Hollow World are set to tour Australia with Once Human in early 2018 and then are planning on setting their sights beyond Australian shores.

"We are excited to join a label like Truth Inc. We've always admired the Truth Corroded guys and their drive and now, to work with their label after seeing what they have done in the past with other Australian bands, we are very keen. They have impressed us with their vision for the future and we are looking forward to moving ahead with them as we grow our career," says vocalist Ben Roberts of the decision.
