"Sacred Marriage" was directed by Justin Oakey for Burial Offerings, with production design by Amanda Row and Cait Lusk as Director of Photography. Oakey explains the concept behind the "Sacred Marriage" video:

Collaborating with Hexvessel is always a rewarding experience. The following press release has been issued about New York's The Mob performing upcoming shows in December:
"Sometime during 1980 searching for a harder/faster outlet than the current NYC punk rock trend, three teenagers from Jackson Heights, Queens: Jack Flanagan, Jose Gonzalez and Ralph Gebbia formulated The Mob. Once the concept was established they added high-school bud Jamie Shanahan on drums, to round out the 4 piece assault.
"The early Mob sound was heavily influenced by what was going on in L.A. and D.C. With NY not having a true representative taking up this new sound and culture The Mob chose to carry the flag. The Mob were not alone in this endeavor and these ideas, as others were feeling the same excitement and picked up guitars, mics and sticks in pursuing these same ideas: which turned into the first wave of the NYHC scene.
"Fast forward to 2012 and The Mob is back in business. This year's Black N' Blue Bowl marked The Mob's return to the stage and to the forefront of the NYHC Scene after a ten year absence. Now The Mob is pleased to announce that they will be playing two shows this December. The first show is scheduled for December 1st in Philadelphia, PA at Gunners Run with special guests Antidote. The second show is set for December 2nd in New York, NY at The Bowery Electric and serves as the CD release show for Antidote's new album where The Mob will provide direct support. More information on the show can be found here." More...

The first ever Doommantia compilation, "Doommantia Vol. 1," has been streaming online over at bandcamp. The anthology features over 39 bands ranging from War Injun to Bongripper, and was released to benefit Doommantia chief Ed Barnard. For those unaware, Ed has been homeless now for a couple of months but still manages to keep the Doommantia site viable online.
Ed used to have a good job until he suffered a series of two heart attacks. Those events, plus the exorbitant cost of cardial medications made paying the rent an impossibility and got him evicted from his place in Aberdeen, Washington. Now homeless, the doom and metal community has been rallying around his cause with benefit concerts and now this compilation, "Doommantia Vol. 1." All proceeds from it will help the Australian Mr. Barnard regain his self-sufficiency.
Comedy metal troupe Big Stall has posted a video online titled "From Kenya With Love," which can be viewed below. The band also comments:
"BIG questions deserve BIG answers. And BIG STALL delivers a BIG music video that finally answers America's BIGGEST question: Was President Barack Hussein Obama born in Kenya?
"Through the use of stunning African beats, bad puns and insensitive visuals, Big Stall's new video 'From Kenya With Love' lets you know that, no, Obama is probably not un-American. Maybe. Also, he did cocaine, that is one-hundred percent true."
Philadelphia-based Big Stall is equal parts metal band and comedy troupe, whose hilariously insensitive songs and outrageous live shows put the tire back in satire. "We're on a mission to save America" says frontman John Stall, "and to save Americans from America." Exploding with props, costumes, action, and an overpowering video/light show, each shock opera performance is the next American Revolution. More...
Maxxxwell Carlisle, the Los Angeles based shredder and solo artist, has announced that Lord Zane, frontman of Society 1, will be directing the video for the title track of his upcoming EP, "Power Angel."
The video's release will coincide with the EP's digital release, set for November 28th, 2012 through Power Dungeon Music. Maxxxwell Carlisle comments:
"I saw Society 1's last video 'Kill Me' on youtube and when I found out that he had directed it, that was it. I knew he was the guy for the job. I want someone who can put that level of intensity into their work and that's the kind of power and energy that I want to come across in this video. I've got some great people playing on these songs and I want something that will do the EP and that opening track justice. Zane and I have been working on the details over the past couple of months and I'm confident he can deliver what I'm looking for."

Italian sludge/noise band Whales And Aurora is streaming its debut album "The Shipwreck" over at bandcamp. The band formed at the beginning of 2008 as a five-piece band, with former members of LaPeste and the Simple Truth.
Psychedelic atmospheres of the early 70s, ethereal musical landscapes of the post-rock scene and warm powerful distortions give a polyhedral personality to the band. Avantasia has posted a video update online about returning to the studio for a new album, which can be viewed below. The band also comments:
"Tobias is currently in the studio working with a legion of guest instrumentalists and vocalists on a new Avantasia album to be released in spring 2013. The album will once again be a Rock Opera based on a conceptual story very similar to the early Avantasia albums."
Tobias also stated, ""The new material sounds very fresh and new and yet you can hear the old classic Avantasia vibe on the album, it will be an enchanting fairytale again, far away from any musical trends. Our latest album was our most successful album of all time, but I guess it was only that successful because it came from the heart. That's the only proven remedy I wanna stick to. I tried to lay down any thought of expectations, but instead just do a completely unseasonable, unfashionable and even unreasonable piece of art. Anyway, I feel at home when I listen to those melodies, choirs and guitars. I just talked to Michi Kiske and he said that the stuff reminds him a lot of the old classic Avantasia material in the good old Keeper style. As a fan, now that sounds even exciting to me, so the circle shuts. For myself it's hard to describe the material in words, I had and have so many ideas that I had to restrain myself a little, otherwise the album would become too long, and I'm trying not to do a double album this time. However, I am really excited, and I just thought I'd let you know how excited I am. I'll try to give you more updates from now on." More...

Massacre Records has issued the following announcement about inking a deal with Bay Area act Hatriot:
"Steve 'Zetro' Souza (Exodus, Legacy (now Testament)) takes his musical roots back in time to the 1980’s when metal was fast, furious, and yet still melodic.
"He writes all of his own twisted lyrics, and with the help of his young guitar wizard, Kosta 'V,' the two of them collaborate to bring you the music of Hatriot. Backed by his two sons, bassist Cody Souza and drummer Nick Souza, plus second guitarist Miguel Esparza, Zetro is out to crush and destroy everything in his path.
"Few bands can be fast, loud, powerful and ferocious, while staying musical, melodical and crushing. Hatriot gives you that, along with the pure intensity of a hungry band that wants nothing more than to tour and play live music to fans.
"Hatriot has earned worldwide respect supporting Testament and Forbidden. You’ve wanted something new and you’ve wanted something heavy. Look out! Hatriot will hit the road and destroy a city near you very soon! Welcome to the family, guys!"
