Strikeforce To Release New Album

Midwest Grammy nominated hard rock artist Strikeforce is gearing up for a second HighVolMusic release titled "Incoming," which is due out in February. Stay tuned for full details. HighVolMusic also comments:

"Their career spanning some 30 years, Strikeforce made their debut in 1984 and broke in the year 1989 through the rock anthem single 'Fast As Lightning'. "The current line up of Strikeforce consists of Duke Jackson - lead guitar/vocals, Jimmy Burdette - drums, and Dave Rader - bass. 'Incoming' is slated for a February 2017 release and will resurrect some tunes from the past as well as new tracks including a cover of the Uriah Heep hit 'Easy Livin'. Tortorum Streaming New EP

Today the Norwegian black metallers from Tortorum stream the entirety of their new mini-album, "Rotten. Dead. Forgotten." The EP was released just last week via W.T.C. Productions and can now be heard below.

It's been two years since the release of Tortorum's second album, "Katabasis," and in that time, ubiquitous drummer Dirge Rep has amicably departed the Norse black metal vanguard's ranks.

Bloodied but unbowed, the trio saw fit to record an all-new mini-album, bearing the ominous title "Rotten. Dead. Forgotten." This title is prescient, and wholly descriptive of the six-track record's contents.

Grausig To Release "Di Belakang Garis Musuh" Album

Indonesian death/black metal act Grausig will have its third full length studio album "Di Belakang Garis Musuh" released in the U.S. on December 9th via Obscure Musick. The album was originally issued back in March via Majemuk Records.

Formed in 1989, Grausig have released several albums over the years including a debut in 1994, but remain unheralded despite being around for so long and having become stronger than ever before. Their latest album stands head-to-head with some of the best US death metal bands of this ilk. Inspired by Suffocation, the music is gnarly, cutting-edge and superbly executed. Laden with infinite hooks, buildups and great breakdowns, the band doesn't waste time on simplistic chugs or slams but delves into technical part of things without diminishing the favoured brutality. "De Belakang Garis Musub" may very well be one of the best Indonesian death metal albums to come out this year.

New England Industrial Metal Duo Invertia will self-release new album "The Biddings of Tyrants" on December 9th. Following 2014's sophomore tour de force "Another Scheme of the Wicked" via Ohm Resistance, the forthcoming release sees Invertia taking its oppressive industrial metal to harsh new heights.
