In Crucem Agere Debut Single On Metalunderground

Delving into the demonic underworld, Austrian black metal outfit In Crucem Agere are not afraid to dig deep into the dark elements of the human condition. Originally formed in 2010, the project encompasses a narrative exploring the darkness inside man for whom there is no hope of salvation.

In Crucem Agere had this to say, "Humanity has been clinging to religions since the beginnings of time, yet every single prayer has been futile, unanswered. What is it that people see in invented gods and fairy tales, that makes them sacrifice everything, even their own lives?"

Bonded Releases "Lillith (Queen Of Blood)" Video

German thrash metallers Bonded continue to promote their upcoming sophomore album "Into Blackness," out worldwide on November 12th, 2021 via Century Media Records. Today, the band release "Lilith (Queen Of Blood)," the second single from the upcoming album. Check out the video directed by Nico Schiesewitz / VIZO Films below.

"'Lilith (Queen Of Blood)’ starts with a short intro by the Queen herself, performed by RægIna from Dæmonesq, then is followed by a real thrash metal thunderstorm. Neck-breaking, hectic, brutal and crowned with an epic chorus. Again an interplay between brutal intensity and catchy hooklines. ‘Lilith’ is highlighted by Makka’s powerful drumming and a cool lead guitar duel. A typical Bonded track with tons of riffs, double bass attacks, breaks and so much more! Lyrically, the song is the next track on 'Into Blackness' that represents the conceptional storyline embedded in 4 songs of the album inspired by the fictional book 'The Division Of The Damned' by Richard Rhys Jones. It introduces the appearance of an old, ancient female entity - a (blood) goddess called Lilith - the queen of blood!" say the band.

Bonded, the group by former Sodom members Bernd “Bernemann” Kost (Guitars) and Markus “Makka” Freiwald (Drums) alongside second guitarist Chris Tsitsis (ex-Suicidal Angels), bassist Marc Hauschild and vocalist Ingo Bajonczak (Assassin), have once again collaborated with producer Cornelius Rambadt (Sodom, Disbelief, Onkel Tom) at the Rambado Recording Studio in Essen, Germany and also had Björn Gooßes / Killustrations (Aborted, The Crown, Carnal Forge) create the album’s artwork, just like on their critically acclaimed “Rest In Violence” debut album from 2020, which entered the official album charts in Germany at # 84. Suffocation Shares New Live Single

New York death metal pioneers Suffocation recently announced their new live album, "Live In North America," which will be released on November 12th via Nuclear Blast Records. Today, the band releases the track video for their second live single, "Pierced From Within." Watch the track video featuring photographs taken by Mike Randall below.

Guitarist Terrance Hobbs comments:
"Hope you all enjoy this live version of 'Pierced from Within.' This song has always been a staple of the Suffocation arsenal as it's one of our favourite musical pieces to play. When going through the live recording and figuring out which songs to tease this release we didn't even have a second thought when it came to 'Pierced from Within' and we couldn't be more proud of how this live version sounds. This song has transcended almost 3 decades and still holds its potency in our set to this very day as well as being intricate with breaking major ground for us in the death metal world since its original release. Hope you all crank it out loud and let Suffocation fill your homes with some of our best death metal through the years!" More...

Exodus Posts New Lyric Video Online

With a bond forged in youth and decades-old friendship, the undisputed masters of thrash metal return with their eleventh studio album, "Persona Non Grata" due to be released on November 19th via Nuclear Blast Records. Today, the band releases a lyric video for their third single "The Years Of Death And Dying," which can be viewed below.

Tom Hunting comments:
"'The Years Of Death And Dying' started out as a poem, from the perspective of Death, being a thinking entity, always watching and looking for weakness and opportunity to come calling for people. A Grim Reaper story. We were losing legends: Bowie, Cash, Petty, Prince, Frey… the list goes on and on. Then we started losing family members and friends in our own orbit. Anyway, the title came first, then the poem, which became a song. I shared the lyrics with Gary, who helped inspire me with phrasing to finish it, and the guys loved it. The song is really long, and more legends kept passing right up into the moment Zet was singing it, so I had to keep writing until I had enough to complete the song. We hope you enjoy our tribute to the fallen!" More...
