Hungarian symphonic black metal band SEAR BLISS will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a huge show in Budapest, Avalon Club on the 29th of November 2008. Beside the current members of the band, the original line up (Phantoms era) will be on stage once again after 11 years. The band is currently writing the material for the their seventh album, which will be recorded and released next year.
Ohio's At The Throne Of Judgement has re-formed, albeit on a "part-time" basis. As you may recall, the band broke up in late-2007 after one release with Rise Records. The group explains:
"We are not going to be a full-time band (full-time meaning we drop everything just to tour the country). However, we will go back to being a part-time band.
"As you know, we are spread out all over the place because all of us attend different colleges in different cities and states. So this isn't going to be easy, and it's definitely going to take a little bit of time. But we feel like we still have to create some siq james wether or not we tour.
"What we plan on doing is writing a new album (which we have already started on). Brad is living in Nashville for school. With him being the main writer in the band and him living so far away we had to work out a new way for our writing process. Lately we have been laying out what we want to do with this album. We have decided to do a concept album. Eric has already written outlines for the entire album, and FYI it is gnarly.
"We have been working on some ideas, and brad has been tracking some of them. We're going to do some pre'production ourselves once we get a few songs done and then enter the studio soon after to record so we can post them! Remember, we are in the beginning process of all this, But I can assure you there WILL be another ATTOJ album!"

For The Fallen Dreams has announced the addition of singer Dylan Richter to their line-up. The band has issued the following statement:
"As you all know, For the Fallen Dreams has been touring non-stop since January, after the release of our debut record, 'Changes.' The band has done plenty of amazing tours and shows, and have met countless amounts of new people/friends. In the past year the band has seen a few member changes, and most recently with front man, Chad Ruhlig.
"Chad has parted ways with FTFD on mutual terms. Both FTFD and Chad agreed that it was in everyone's best interest to move on. Chad was a good frontman and a good friend. There are no hard feelings whatsoever and we wish Chad the best of luck with his future plans.
"With that said, we are extremely excited to announce our new vocalist, Dylan Richter. We feel that with the new record coming up, things are only going to look up for the band. We are currently writing new material for our sophomore release on Rise Records. We're very excited to get the ball rolling with this record. The band still has big plans for the rest of 2008, including a European/UK tour with The Warriors, as well as an Australian tour in December supporting The Red Shore. 2009 is shaping up to become the biggest year for the band yet."

"After 16 years of beer, sweat and hell, I have decided to bring Gospel Of The Horns to an end. We would like to thank the many friends we have made around the world during our journey... and hail to Darragh from Invictus for his unending support. He has given Gospel every opportunity to drive our thrashing mayhem out to all. The time is right to move on to new horizons and we are content in knowing that we have given everything we had in our arsenal. Our final show will be on the 7th of December with Grave in our hometown of Melbourne. This show will be one hell of a mighty occasion!"
AC/DC frontman, Brian Johnson has recently spoke about the bands controversial decision to release their new studioalbum, "Black Ice" exclusively through Wal-Mart stores in North America.
"Maybe I'm just being old fashioned, but this iTunes, God bless 'em, it's going to kill music if they're not careful," 61-year-old singer Brian Johnson told Reuters. "It's a monster, this thing. It just worries me. And I'm sure they're just doing it all in the interest of making as much cash as possible. Let's put it this way, it's certainly not for the love, let's get that out of the way, right away."
Johnson also pointed out that Wal-Mart has been very loyal to AC/DC over the years, so the band had no problem giving the retailer an exclusive. "A lot of people were saying 'Ah man, you're going to the big Wal-Mart, you're selling out,'" Johnson said. "Wal-Mart were the only big store to stock all of our albums, every single one of them, and they've never deviated. And they sold AC/DC shirts and pajamas for kids, which we thought was really cool."

"I come w/ much love to tell you all that I am stepping down as drummer for Eden a.d."
"It's been a great ride all these years, making and playing music, bonding with scenemates. I've got nothing but love for everyone who has supported us and all the bands that struggled and battled in the scene with us. Most of all, I love my bandmates and there are no hard feelings that are the reason for me leaving. I know that's typical bullshit in a public statement even if it's not true, but it's the truth here--ask anyone in the band." More...

GN'RDaily.com, The GUNS N' ROSES Newswire is reporting:
Chinese Democracy has now entered the public lexicon as ‘promise that never delivers’, but in November Guns N’ Roses will finally drop its embattled sixth album. FasterLouderFasterLouder has received confirmation from Universal Music Australia that it is indeed on its way, although an exact release date has not been set.
The (multi)-million dollar question, though, is will it be worth the wait? Chinese Democracy certainly has a cracking back-story. Axl Rose began work on the album way back in 1994, allegedly chalking up more than $13 million in production costs along the way. A long list of executives and producers has been called in to steer Rose towards completion, but the frontman has been distracted by lengthy lawsuits and personal upsets. The album has been so shrouded in secrecy that an American blogger who leaked some of its tracks in August was arrested and charged.
