Paradise Lost & Tristania Added To 70000 Tons

The organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise has announced a further two bands for the 2019 edition of the event. Joining the lineup will be British Gothic metal pioneers Paradise Lost, who are currently promoting their latest studio album, "Medusa," as well as fellow Gothic metal veterans Tristania, which will mark their first live performances since 2016. The floating festival will set sail from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on January 31 and dock in Labadee, Haiti, before returning on February 4.

Metal Church Posts New Video Online

West coast metal veterans Metal Church will release their 12th full length studio album "Damned If You Do" via Nuclear Blast Records on December 7th 2018 (Rat Pak Records/America & King Records/Japan). The latest release is the follow-up to their highly successful 2016 album XI, which saw the return of legendary front man Mike Howe. "Damned If You Do" is a cross between the band's iconic "Blessing In Disguise" and "The Human Factor." This new offering features ten fully-charged, classic-metal influenced songs showcasing the sound that has garnered the band a solid fan base for over 3 decades.

Hot on the heels of the aforementioned announcement, Metal Church have released the first music video for the title track "Damned If You Do." The song is quintessential Metal Church and showcases the sound that has garnered the band fans all around the globe, with its driving guitar riffs, punishing drum beat and instantly recognizable vocals. Unleashed Posts New Lyric Video Online

Swedish death metal legends Unleashed has posted a new lyric video online for the title track of their forthcoming new album, "The Hunt For White Christ." You can check it out below. The album will be released through Napalm Records on October 26th.

Singer and bass player Johnny Hedlund explains the story behind the new song:

Altitudes & Attitude Premiere New Single

Altitudes & Attitude have a new record called “Get It Out” in the works for a January 18th release via Megaforce. Soreption Forced To Pull Out Of Suffocation Tour

Soreption won't be able to take part in this fall’s Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation and Krisiun tour due to Visa issues. Soreption issued the below statement:

“To our fans in North America, unfortunately the visa issues that forced us to depart Summer Slaughter early have still not resolved themselves and we are forced to step down from the upcoming Suffocation Death Chopping Tour.

We were excited to join our good friends on this tour as well as get our new music out to our fans so this is a disappointment for us. We ask our fans to support the tour and the other artists on tour including Visceral Disgorge who will be taking our place in the lineup.

This tour is sure to kill and should not be missed! Don’t worry, as soon as this is cleared up we’ll be getting out to you to celebrate the release!”

Said trek will serve as the farewell tour for Suffocation vocalist Frank Mullen.
