Following the release of “Furor Incarnatus” in early 2013, guitarist and producer Ola Englund quickly started writing for a new Feared album, which is now fully recorded and set for release on November 25th.
Titled "Vinter," the band’s fourth full-length record marks the debut of Jocke Skog, formerly of Clawfinger, on bass guitar who also handled the production work along with Ola Englund.
Check out the first single “Erased” in the player below. Here’s what Ola had to say about the new album:
“After Furor I quickly felt the need to show our fans that we are not resting, even though we are all working with our other bands. I’ve always felt that Feared is an ongoing experiment and with Vinter I feel like we've found our home. It's a dark and beautiful album, and I think we've all matured a lot from making it. Our new addition to the line-up, Jocke Skog has quickly adapted to Feared, as well as contributed a lot of input to the album."
Regarding Jocke Skog joining as new bass player, Ola complements: "I've always been an admirer of Jocke and one day it just occurred to me; why the hell haven't I asked him to join the band already? Jocke has so much musicality in him I know he will make a perfect fit in the band. He has already contributed so much to the production side of Feared, and now he's also going to crush it live with us." More...

Aeon recently split with the band's guitarist due to issues with losing money on tour. Aeon has now checked in with the following update about the band's status:
"Since some people are asking us if we will continue as a band or not after Daniel's departure, let's make it clear that we will continue to spread our dark music.
"We always knew that this point in our career would come. When we would be asked to tour more and more, but the touring does not cover the loss of income from our day jobs... and it is a very difficult point. With this band we do get paid, we just have to cut on our losses. But the rest of us still wanna give it a try!
"We still have faith that there is a need for some true death metal in this world! THE FIRE STILL BURNS!
"We will also be looking for a replacement for Daniel of course. More info on this will come soon. And we just got started working on our next album....how about that folks???"

Boston death metallers Soul Remnants and Metal411.com have locked horns for the exclusive premiere of "No Afterlife," taken from the band's upcoming album "Black and Blood." A mere sampling of the intensity that is "Black and Blood," "No Afterlife" is now playing at this location, or below in the player. "Black and Blood" will be available via Horror Pain Gore Death Productions on October 31st.
Hailing from the outskirts of Boston, Mass., Soul Remnants is a death metal quintet making a name for itself in the underground scene. The group began to form in 2003 with Thomas Preziosi on guitar (Year of Our Lord, Armory) and Mitch Fletcher on vocals. They aimed to combine the raw intensity of American death metal with Scandinavian black metal. After a number of demos, the debut album "Plague of the Universe" was self-released on December 11 2009.
"Enjoy the Filth," the second album from Swedish black metal band Wan, is out now on Sweden's Carnal Records. Equal parts filth and ferocity, the followup to 2010's "Wolves of the North" takes its cues from the early masters and twists it into a nightmare of sound all its own. Gun Shy Assassin is getting in on the action by posting an exclusive stream of the album's title track. Experience the evil at this location.
Death metal maniacs Harm finally crawl out of hell and present their long-awaited debut album "Cadaver Christi," which will be unleashed October 25 on FDA Rekotz. The cover artwork was created by the mighty Juanjo Castellano. Stream the promo video for "Cadaver Christi" below.
Harm was founded in October 2009 by Solfernus (Ex-Nebiros/Ex-Vulgar Degenerate), Stefan (Ex-Muerte/Ex-Gorerilla/Violation Domain), Fabian (Ex-Muerte/Ex-Gorerilla) and Barkley (Ex-Morvan/Ex-Gorerilla/Ex-Violation Domain). Five months later, the band recorded its first demo at Knicki Knacki Studios. Entitled "God Forgives... My Chainsaw Not!," the recording features eight tracks of kick-ass, old-school death metal. From there, Harm made a name for themselves by gigging around their native Berlin, Germany.
Fist-to-face Swedish Black Metal from Cursed 13's "Triumf" has been unleashed by Sweden's Carnal Records. The meaty 'n muscular "Triumf" contains 11 tracks spanning the period 1998 up to 2013. Featuring members of Domgard, Wan, and Spazmosity, Cursed 13 is nasty, brutish, and brilliant in its blackened purity.
While there are no re-recorded songs from the "Tearing the World Asunder" split with Domgard, several of the tracks on "Triumf" were originally intended for the never released "And Hell..." album. Bassist/vocalist and Unit Commander Heljarmadr (Domgard) explains the album's malicious content this way:
"The lyrical themes in Cursed 13 have always been based upon aggression, both the controlled and calculating hate as well as the blind fury. Cursed 13 acknowledges the ancient Scandinavian/European spirituality and mythology as the truth and holds the kin of Loke as the ones closest to heart. I am not an atheist and black metal is not just another form of music."
Plans for a gatefold vinyl LP release of "Triumf" are also in the works. Check out a promo video featuring album track "När Marorna Kallar" below. More...
Trucker Diablo released their third and riskiest single and video to date in "Maybe You're The One," taken from their Ripple Music release "Songs of Iron." A powerful ballad that retains the heaviness that the band is known for, but shows a more dynamic side that shows their diversity.
Ireland's dirty rock n' rollers Trucker Diablo gained a huge following after storming the stages of countless festivals this summer, giving their ever-growing legions of fans many chances to come out, rock out and party with the boys. The summer found the rowdy rockers sharing the stage with such luminaries as The Answer, Saxon, Michael Schenker, Magnum, FM and Anvil.
Now, debuting on Classicrockmagazine.com, check out the latest video from Trucker Diablo. See the video for "Maybe You're the One" at this location or below.
Listenable Records has inked a deal with Northwest U.S. stoner rock gurus Mos Generator. The band is currently working on a new record, which is scheduled for a spring 2014 release on Listenable Records. Mos Generator will tour Europe in support of the album in May.
The new material is said to be stretching the core sound of the band into some new and interesting directions. Guitarist/vocalist Tony Reed comments, "We always try and push the heavy rock sound into other areas. Sometimes it's forced and sometimes we are letting natural and honest influences enter the equation. On the new material we are letting ourselves be open to whatever comes along."
Mos Generator formed during the winter of 2000 in Port Orchard, WA from the ashes of a ten year off & on collaboration between it's three members, all of which are long time veterans of road and studio. The need to strip down to the basics of hard rock was apparent from the start and continues to be the foundation for all the bands recent material. Mos Generator have released five studio albums, a retrospective album, and a live album on such labels as Roadburn, Small Stone, Ripple, Nasoni, and Lay Bare.
Touring has been just as important to the profile of the band as making records has. Over the years Mos Generator has shared the stage with many great heavy rock bands and in March of 2013 they did a 26-date European tour with Saint Vitus, opening up a whole new fan base to the Mos Generator sound. On stage the band defines the word "chemistry". Revolving their sound around swagger and groove while improvising just enough to keep the songs feeling fresh from night to night...sometimes with interesting results. More...
