He doesn't just sound big, he sounds huge. He's such a heavy hitter, we actually have to turn the amps up even more now. A former student at Savannah School of Art & Design, Luke also has the ability to add many different elements to the various creative processes of the band. He's a hard worker who's eager, excited, and has pledged his dedication to rock-n-roll. We look forward to having him with us in our journey to make the best music we can. We've got a ton of new songs in the works, as well as touring & recording plans in the relatively near future. We are very glad to be back, and hopefully better than ever. Thank you for your patience and support!"

Taking a page out of the KISS “How to Market Your Band” book, Def Lepard is moving into the world of cartoons. Here’s a look at a few others that may be in productions soon…
SUPER NINJA VAN HALEN BROTHERS: They eat pizza with M&M’s (no brown ones allowed) and solve crimes. Each with their own super powers: Eddie plays his guitar and bad dudes become distracted by the sound, Alex uses his drum sticks to perform beat downs, Michael strokes his beard to gain super strength, and David, of course, conquers his enemies with karate kicks. A cartoon of good vs. evil with a lesson taught at the end. The lesson is always we may not like each other, but damn we are good when we work together. More...
Canadian hard rock outfit Kittie has posted a new video online from their current tour of Europe. You can check it out below. The band are currently touring in support of their latest studio album, "In The Black" which is out now through E1 Music. More...

The band recently began recording the album and hope to have it released by June. Stay tuned for further details.
Lock Up, the extreme metal supergroup featuring Tomas Lindberg (At The Gates), Shane Embury (Napalm Death, Venomous Concept), Nick Barker (Cradle Of Filth, Testament, Exodus) and Anton Reisenegger (Pentagram, Criminal), have announced that they will not be hanging up the gloves just yet. The band have begun work on a brand new studio album and has announced three shows for later this year.
The tour dates are as follows: More...
Omar Sheira, age 21 was 19 when Megadeth's "United Abominations" came out in 2007. Omar has always been a die-hard Megadeth fan and thought it would be a neat idea creating some artwork to pay homage to the hit song "Gears of War." Posting the artwork on some Megadeth forums, Dave Mustaine's management got in contact with Omar in an attempt to sign over the artwork so Dave Mustaine can use it for a future "product." Without contacting or seeking out any legal advice, Omar signed the artwork over and Mustaine eventually used it on a guitar design. Without any recognition or a thank you, Omar feels that Mustaine did not give credit where credit was due. He was hoping that Mustaine would be the "cool cat" and give him some recognition, a thank you, or even a guitar of the design. Listen to his story on a podcast here.
Guitarist Shane Gibson has made a name for himself touring with Korn and backing Jonathan Davis for his solo material. Outside of Korn, Gibson works a wide range of projects from the Arnold themed comedy act Schwarzenator to the female-fronted DeFable. Most recently he recorded guitar tracks for the all-star group Northern Light Orchestra. The band includes such rock and metal icons as David Ellefson and George Lynch on their "The Spirit of Christmas" album. Sample tracks from the album can be found at the Northern Light Orchestra MySpace page. Shane spoke with me about the recording of the album and what his other bands have in store for the future.
