"The record was recorded with Dean Baltulonis at the Wild Arctic in Portsmouth, New Hampshire (Agnostic Front, Sick Of It All, Most Precious Blood, Goes Cube) and will see a digital release/exclusive shirt package via Sacrament Music on March 1st.

Chicago's Oceano has started work on a brand new studio album, which the band has revealed will be titled "Incisions." The five piece is currently hard at work writing the follow-up to 2010's "Contagion," with plans to release the new album later this year on Earache Records.
Oceano has released an official lyric video for the new track "Slow Murder," which can be viewed below. The band's guitarist Nick Conser comments:
"The new Oceano comes out today. Get ready for it. We're starting a new chapter in this band. We're not selling out. We're not getting soft. We're getting more fucked up and bringing more hate. And if you want us to change, then you're gonna be disappointed. We're not gonna replicate any album that we've ever released. We're going to get more evil than anything you've heard from this band. Today will show the start of how hateful this record is gonna be."
Oceano will be hitting the road again full-time this summer in support of the new album, with tour dates due to be announced in the near future. The band also has a hometown show scheduled for this Friday, February 1st at Reggie's Rock Club in Chicago, featuring support from Monsters, The Ox King, Thieves, and No Zodiac. More...

“We wanted to go further by exploring additional ways to present our music. The concept this time is based in a raw model script build up by our singer & vocalist Carlos Cariano. The visual background inspired in a straight line by the script was designed by KKSTRUCTURES while the final PROJEKT assemblage was generated by our long time teammate Eurico Bernardo. We feel very pleased with the outcome and the final results perfectly extrapolate the devastating aura of our brand new single.”
The album's track listing is:
1. Slithering (check out the music video right here)
2. Cult of the Everlasting
3. Devoured Unlimited
5. Equilibrium In Extremis

Dan Swanö helped us getting the rig together and he provided us with the tools to do it and from there we did it ourselves. The lead guitar sessions were done at SolnaSound Recording by Simon & Mike Wead. When it all was done it was sent to Dan Swanö and Unisound for mix and mastering. The final album is amazing and we are so thrilled to get it out to all of you." More...

King Conquer has released a lyric video for the track "A Day Late… and A Dollar Short," which will appear on the band's upcoming new album "1776." The lyric video can be seen below or over at the band's Facebook profile.
Speaking on the track, guitarist John Byrd commented: "The title of the track explains the theme of the song. The message is our economy isn't broken, it's fixed, and as the average citizen you're always held down by the elitists that are robbing our country blind, and collapsing this great country."
Produced by Charlie Wall (Betraying The Martyrs, Abiotic), "1776" is the follow up to 2010's "America's Most Haunted." Expanding on the meaning behind the title of the album, Byrd stated "We chose to title the album '1776' for a few reasons. First, all of our members believe we need to restore our republic that's been destroyed." Adding, "Second, I believe our band had a fresh new start with this record, as did the colonies in that year. Our writing process has improved on every aspect and we're attacking this industry with full force. We're sick of the diluted metal scene and how it's over saturated with gimmicks and choreographed stage moves. People need something authentic and real, we hope to provide them with that."
The "1776" album is set to hit stores and digital retailers this spring through Mediaskare Records. King Conquer will headlining the "Eat Your Heart Out Tour," which begins on February 1st, with support from The Last Ten Seconds of Life, Adaliah, and Sworn In. Chicago’s Arbogast is not the kind of band that engages in the conventional nature of metal. Their sound is hard to pinpoint, sounding like a thrashy take on punk one song, and then a sludgy mess on another. Pulling their cues from many different influences helps them retain a sound that can be defined as their own. Arbogast makes the most out of it on their debut album “I,” which was released back in last December. It was largely overlooked, stuck in the space between end-of-year lists and building anticipation for 2013’s releases. I had the opportunity to speak to all three members of Argogast - bassist/vocalist Aaron Roemig, guitarist/vocalist Mike Scheid, and drummer Mike Rataj - about the creation of “I” and finding a balance between all the different styles the music pools from. In the Portugal Daily View, Moonspell's lead singer/songwriter Fernando Ribeiro was quoted as saying "We were an active part of the underground scene that grew steadily over time, supported only by our passion for metal and by the desire to share it with people from all over the world. To spread music demos around the world was like raising our voices and saying ‘I’m here!’. Those were the more exciting days of my young life. To receive tapes from Poland, Mexico or Germany was an incredible experience. I can imagine it was the same feeling for a foreigner who received a tape from Portugal”. More...
